Since stepping down as the co-director of the New Directions, Rachel’s life has been hectic to say the least. She went back to NYADA and graduated with flying colours, reconnected with her old flame Jesse, and even returned to Broadway. After running out on Funny Girl to star in the hot mess that was That’s So Rachel, Rachel really had a lot of making up to do, but she really shone as Sophie in Mamma Mia!

Falling back in love with her ex-boyfriend was unexpected, but things with Jesse just felt so natural and organic. Within two years of dating, they were engaged and just about everyone was talking about the Broadway IT couple. Their wedding was truly beautiful - with all of their Glee friends present, and of course, plenty of celebrities. When Jesse asked to direct her in his new musical, Jane Austen Sings, Rachel was apprehensive at first, but her husband reassured her that there was nobody better suited for the role than his beautiful wife. And of course he was right, as it landed her her very first Tony.

Rachel’s currently taking a break from acting, to focus on writing her new album, and of course being the surrogate for her two best friends, Blaine and Kurt. A decision which she didn’t take lightly, but one that she just knew was right. After all, she was conceived by surrogate and it just seemed like fate that she help out her best friends in the same way. And now she’s experienced pregnancy? Well, she can’t wait to start a family of her own with Jesse.
