To be honest, I'm a 'Nandor fell first' truther. Like when Nandor told Guillermo that he was going to to get married again he expected Guillermo to be jealous and Guillermo was like "No I'm happy for you". Guillermo was the one happily dating Freddie and it was Nandor that cloned Freddie and dated the clone after making his wife like everything he likes.
Like yes in s5 they are both in the 'mutually pining' part of the slowburn, but Nandor fell first (he just doesn't realise it)!!!
