first off i want to start by saying that i am no expert on astrology, and there is always more to learn, and i am still learning every day! this is just something i thought would be fun :) 

if you would like your birth chart to be compared with one or all of the greta van fleet boys, i’m your girl :) 

in an ask (anon or not, totally up to you) please include:

1.) your name/nickname/initial or even an emoji so i can place it in the tags for you to find :)

2.) which boy, or boys you would like me to compare your chart to. you can request more than one or all of them if you’d like! the way i approach comparing all of them would be only slightly different.

3.) let me know if you’d prefer a short comparison to a more in depth one where i would explain more about how your placements would work together (similar to my first comparisons).

4.) your birth chart, it can be in writing or a picture. for the most accuracy please include every planet!! when submitting a picture please send the list of the planets, for example: sun- taurus, moon- scorpio, ascendant- aquarius, etc... you can include the natal chart (the circular chart) if you’d like along with the planets listed out!

DO NOT BUY TICKETS THROUGH STUBHUB!!

Last night I had intentions of attending the GVF concert with a GA ticket I purchased 6 months ago. It was my first concert EVER. I was so pumped!!

However, upon arriving to then arena I tried to access my ticket so it could be scanned at the front doors. Well…. I searched and searched and could NOT find this ticket.

I called customer support and was hung up on TWICE. The first representative told me that the seller did not issue me my ticket in the first place and that StubHub gave him a 2 hour extension to send me my tickets. Of course I didn’t have 2 hours because the concert was starting in 30 minutes. So she offers me a refund or “compatible replacement tickets”. GREAT! I’ll purchase another GA ticket because I’ve been waiting for months to see Greta. Welp, I go to click on the GA ticket and the link goes dead. She says she’ll send me another link and puts me on hold. After about 5 minutes of being on hold she hangs up. I call back. The second representative picks up the phone and all I hear is him talking in the background. I said “hello, is anyone there” about 5 times before I was hung up on again once more. I call back AGAIN. The representative says that there are no more tickets available at all and all they can do is issue me a refund. Really??? In the span of 15 minutes you ran out of tickets AFTER telling me I was able to purchase them??

I’m freaking out. I’ve waited 6 months to see my first ever concert and I can’t even get in because “the seller” never sent me my tickets in the first place.

Thank god the lady at the front counter of the arena was able to sell me and my boyfriend 2 seat tickets right next to sammy for $70 each🥲 I’ll take it. I did NOT want to drive 2 hours back home and not get to see the people I’ve waited so long to see.

I am so upset and disappointed that this happened. Fortunately, I was able to purchase more tickets but that’s not always an option for other concert goers. StubHub is unreliable and straight up WRONG. I do not understand how you can take someone’s money and just hold it in limbo and never issue them what they paid for. I also NEVER received an email that said they were unable to send me my tickets.

Long story short, DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM STUBHUB!! After reading review this has happened to HUNDREDS of people.

You would reach a shady outlook and josh would huff. Slugging his water and wiping his brow with his bandana. For how exhausted and spent he is, you see how peaceful and genuinely happy he looks. Then he’d gaze at you with his Bambi eyes and hold you while the both of you admire the breathtaking sight. After taking a moment, you’d hike back to your campsite. That’s something Josh has wanted to do for a while; tent camping in true wilderness. And so you end the night with him showing off his Boy Scout skills by building a fire, cooking some hotdogs and s’mores, and snuggling in your tent ☺️

Lastly, Josh would be so incredibly proud of your professional/academic achievements. Also wildly attracted to your smarts. He’d pick your brain on a wide range of topics, each time falling for you over again while you give your opinion. He’d kiss your head and remind you how intelligent you are. That’s the first thing he’d brag about when talking about you, whether you are around or not. Josh would be your biggest fan and supporter.

i’m abt 5’6, super into the 70-80s era, i’m obsessed with stranger things & hamilton(i know that’s such a basic thing but yk lol). i listen to pretty much any sort of music, but my preferred is those along the lines of queen, kiss, the beatles, the scorpions, and ofc greta van fleet.

since my brain can’t think of anything else that i’m rlly all about, idk if it matters much but i have short (similar to sammys current cut), black hair, blue eyes, and am on the plus size side. my style in clothing also completely changes on the daily lol.

Microsoft se asocia con GitHub para crear un VCS para grandes proyectos

El sistema de control de versiones Git es posiblemente la solución más popular dentro de su segmento. Sin embargo, todos los que lo conocen saben que es software libre, por eso en su momento sorprendió su adopción por parte de Microsoft para el desarrollo de uno de sus productos estrella: el sistema operativo Windows.

Según informan desde ArsTechnica, Microsoft ha ido añadiendo modificaciones a Git para que pueda adaptarse mejor a sus necesidades específicas, con especial mención al desarrollo de Windows. Ahora la compañía quiere dichas modificaciones lleguen a la implementación estándar de Git, por eso ha anunciado un acuerdo con GitHub, el conocido portal de repositorios de código, para que este último adopte algunas de ellas.

Aunque Microsoft aprecia las virtudes de Git, sobre todo por su facilidad a la hora de gestionar ramas, la compañía ha encontrado un par de limitaciones:

No está preparado para soportar una gran cantidad de desarrolladores al mismos tiempo.

No fue diseñado para bases de código muy grandes, con repositorios que pueden superar los 300GB.

Estos inconvenientes hacen que en ciertos contextos la versión oficial Git trabaje con lentitud, pudiendo necesitar ciertas operaciones hasta minutos para completarse, lo que termina siendo tanto una pérdida tanto de tiempo como de dinero.

Para solucionar este problema, la compañía desarrolló Git Virtual File System (GVFS), una tecnología de réplica virtualizada de un repositorio Git que contiene metadatos y solo los ficheros que han sido explícitamente recuperados, eliminando así la necesidad de replicar todos los ficheros en cada modificación. En consecuencia, se mejoran aspectos como el espacio ocupado (reduciéndolo) y la velocidad de trabajo.

Microsoft ha intentado que sus modificaciones se incluyan en la rama estándar de Git, pero se ha encontrado con el conservadurismo de los gestores del proyecto, debido a que estos piden que los repositorios sigan siendo compatibles entre versiones. Por otro lado, hasta ahora se ha aceptado la mitad de las propuestas que ha presentado Microsoft, por lo que su contribución se está teniendo en cuenta.

Estas modificaciones no estarían destinadas a los proyectos que utilizan el servicio gratuito de GitHub, sino que están enfocadas a corporaciones que trabajan con grandes proyectos. okay so your charts just mesh together so well. capricorn suns work really well with taurus suns, your moon signs are super compatible, as well as your mercury and venus placements. i really like the sag and gemini venus combo because they're sister signs. i'm personally a sucker for sister signs being in the same placement because i think they work well together. sometimes though, they can cause friction, but you'd just have to be willing to work through it with each other. i think the next bump could be your mars placements, but i think you'd be able to handle his aries mars. i think you and josh could be best friends who are always at one another's side. like the person you can always count on to be there for you

since josh and jake are twins they have the same chart as far as we know, so i'm going to lump them in together. seeing as you have the same sun and mercury as the twins, i think there'd be good chemistry right from the start. with their gemini venus and your cancer venus, i think that could be an interesting combo. however, your mar placements are compatible and would make for some fun adventures! lastly, your moon signs work in an unexpected way. i think they would be able to take in and hear out all of your emotions while also helping you figure out a way to work through them.
