Christmas Aesthetics 1/4: Jake

🎄 Cozy Classic Christmas 🎄

Jake during the holidays is traditional reds and greens. He's collecting logs and kindling for the fireplace. He's reading classics that are falling apart by the spine and are riddled with creases from dog-earing the corners. He's drinking coffee on the porch in the crisp morning hours. He's the smell of fresh pine and a hint of vanilla. He's decorating the tree with childhood ornaments. There's one that holds a picture of him during his soccer days and another that says "Jacob's first Christmas". He's telling stories from earlier holidays even though you've heard them all before. He's mulled wine and homemade pasta. He's hanging the mistletoe strategically in the kitchen archway so he can lean in for a kiss with every pass. He's warmth and comfort and familiarity.

Josh;

Josh is definitely a passionate and kind person so this song really suits him. I also think he’s the type of boyfriend to bring you to a drive in theater or a thrift store. He would probably put this song on his record player and sing and dance with you in your guy’s living room. Josh also just gives off the vibes of this song as well.

Jake;

“She’s a killer queen, gunpowder, gelatine, dynamite with a laser beam, guaranteed to blow your mind”

This song reminds me of Jake mainly because of the killer guitar solo but it also gives off Jake vibes as well. Jake would most definitely practice this song in his free time and would probably listen to this song on repeat. He would also just sing this song while doing mini chores around the house. Jake is just the type of person who would vibe with this song as well.

Sammy;

“We are the champions my friends, and we’ll keep on fighting ‘til the end”

Sammy’s personality really fits the vibes of this song. He would definitely quote this song from time to you and the boys. I feel like he is so proud of how far him and his brothers has come and he really would just love to listen to this song in general. He most definitely has this album on record as well and he would just play it while making you guys vegan-based foods and dancing. He really is an amazing person and would tell his brothers how proud he is of them too.

Danny;

This song gives off major Danny vibes because how much confidence this song gives. It really reminds me of how much confidence Danny had gained over the years. Danny would for sure listen to this song whenever he needs a confidence booster and would probably get high or drunk to this song. It really would be a sight to see in my mind. But all in all, it really shows much he’s grown through the years and I’m super proud of him for it cus he deserves everything that’s good in the world!

This is a moodboard inspired by mine and @sacredthethread having a discussion about baking with Jake and Sam, and also shout out to my Sammy Nation loves for helping me find the perfect photos!!

Danny - classic chocolate chip, warm and soft, reminds you of home in the best way, comforting and smooth. The cookie you long for after a long day, the yummy gooey chocolate chips melting your cares away!

Jake - peanut butter blossom, a classic salty sweet cookie, a perfect balance of the two worlds. One you want to savor and yet you can’t help but eat them all because they’re so good!

Sam - lofthouse cookies. Those super soft, crumbly cookies from the super market. People love them, some people don’t (and honestly fuck those people they have no taste, in both opinions) sugary sweet decadence, soft and fluffy, and always standout on the cookie table.

Josh - an absolute snickerdoodle. Simple and classic, but always delicious. The spice of the cinnamon will always surprise you with the sweet of the vanilla and sugar, just like josh. A browned butter snickerdoodle? Josh all the way!
