she wants to be in the entertainment industry (mainly broadway) so she’s always networking and trying to befriend others bc u never know who knows who

in the end, she j wants to break away from her parents so she’s ready to do any job that’s available

hello! i’m hannah and i’m here writing my boy noel! uhhh he’s an entire wreck from quebec but he’s v lovable so!!! also his fc is kim jungwoo who is just extremely adorable ugh. he has an about but i also want to talk a bit more about him so here we go!

noel was born in montreal, quebec and resided there for 12 years. he got to experience a lot of french and canadian culture, and he enjoyed the diversity he was exposed to.  his parents were both children of south korean immigrants and happened to meet in college. while he does not have any french heritage, he keeps strong ties to the culture. to this day, he still has some of the french accent while speaking english. in his first years in boston, though, he felt embarrassed by his accent and tried to learn how to suppress it. he never fully did though, and it especially comes out in certain words, such as catholic or electric where he ends it with more of an “eek” sound.

he moved to boston with his family because his dad, an anesthesiologist, found a really good job opportunity. noel definitely felt out of place at first. he had always been shy and a bit awkward, but being in a new place intensified that for him. 

to combat this shyness, his parents had him join mock trial and debate team. noel was nervous about them at first, but he turned out to do phenomenal in both! in fact, the experience led noel to consider a future in law.

in middle school, noel started to get panic attacks. before a large debate competition, noel started to feel sick and like something terrible was about to happen. 

after that, he started getting them more often. he didn’t immediately recognize what was happening, but after it started affecting him, he looked online for answers.

now, noel knows that he’s experiencing panic attacks, and does everything he can to avoid having them around other people. he doesn’t want to be the center of attention, and he knows that having one publicly at houghton could garner negative attention

noel’s parents sent him to houghton hoping he would get a quality education. noel definitely had high expectations for the academy, but he ended up finding it less than ideal.

he wasn’t hated, per se, but he wasn’t loved by everybody either. he always did everything he could to be kind due to a mix of his kindhearted nature and wanting to be liked. however, he was often too nice, leading others to make jokes about him, harass him, or take advantage of his kindness. 

noel tried not to let it get to him, though. he knew that he was being a good person.

so, the dante situation. what an entity. 

until junior year, dante and noel never had any significant conversation. which made noel that much more confused when he got messaged by dante asking for help with school. noel thought it was odd, but he didn’t want to refuse help to anybody. so, he agreed to meet up with dante, even if the location seemed sketchy.

well, noel quickly realized that school help wasn’t the purpose of dante’s messaging. frankly, he felt a bit offended! why him? did he just radiate “oh sure, i’ll hook up with you if you ask” vibes? 

however, he obviously wasn’t that offended, because he did, in fact, hook up with dante continually. it was an odd situation. noel didn’t think that he would lose his virginity to a guy with a girlfriend, but he guessed it could be worse. sure, the crushing guilt always hung over his head, but it was a small price to pay for... being an outlet for somebody to figure out their sexuality? yeah, noel really is too kind.

when dante died, noel felt a lot of emotions. did he really just hook up with somebody until his death? not to mention the prior revealing of the hookups. noel never handled death well, and dante’s was no exception.

with so many people determined to find out about dante, noel is scared. he’s not out as bisexual, and being outed by people finding out he hooked up with dante would be the worst.

so, now, at least outwardly, noel’s just kind of living his life. he doesn’t publicly defend or hate on dante for fear of something slipping out. he’s never left a large footprint anywhere, and he’d prefer not to start.

Katherine Lee, who goes by Kitty, grew up wealthy and privileged, like the majority of her peers. She was born in Boston and is the only child of a successful business man, who spoiled his princess rotten. Kitty’s mother was hardly ever around, because she suffered from postpartum depression and was never able to emotionally connect to her daughter. She traveled around the world a lot, for her job as a photographer, and only communicated with Kitty through emails, texts and short phone calls, which became less and less frequent, until she stopped contacting her entirely.

Kitty isn’t at the top of the social hierarchy, but she’s doing well for herself, popularity wise, since she joined the cheerleading squad in her sophomore year, and has dated a lot of jocks ever since. None of these relationships lasted very long, because her crushes tend to just come and go. At Houghton, she’s mostly known for being ‘easy’, because of her many hook-ups and flings.

Kitty has known Dante for most of her life, because they went to the same church every Sunday. Though they never talked, she knew who he was, because the Alvares family was a pillar in the community. She thought he grew up very handsome, but Kitty didn’t pay him much mind until he started dating the girl who she despised more than anything. It wasn’t like this girl had ever done anything bad to Kitty, but she was extremely envious of her which developed into hatred, despite pretending to be her friend. A few weeks before his death, Kitty decided to seduce Dante and succeeded. It was supposed to be a one time thing, but hooking up with him made her feel powerful, so she continued doing it.

CRUSH: Kitty falls in and out of love very quickly, but they are the current object of her affection.

wesley was raised by his grandma, because his mother passed away and his dad abandoned him. he has lived a very sheltered life on a farm, and was homeschooled until he turned 12.

he’s at houghton on a scholarship for academics. 

works freelance as a graphic & web designer. yes, insert “graphic design is his passion” meme here. he’s also responsible for doing the layout and editing photos for the school paper. 

wes has severe astigmatism, and his teeth are very crooked, so he’s stuck wearing thick glasses and braces rip.

was relentlessly bullied by dante & his windsor friends for being the weird, sheltered, socially awkward poor kid. it pretty much destroyed what little self confidence he had.  

his life drastically changed for the better when he became friends with the new kid in his junior year, who stood up for him and protected him from the windsors. 

now that he has finally made some friends, wesley feels slightly more confident, but the windsors still scare the bejeezus out of him.

he has been dating his online girlfriend ‘rose’ for almost a year now. they met each other in an online videogame. she’s very cute and wesley just adores her, but they’ve only seen each a few times in real life, because she has social anxiety.

her mother ended up having a really bad spending habit and she was quickly running out of money. rather than find a job, she forced her children in the entertainment industry in order to keep an income.

soon, jini started to get casted into shows and movies while mina went the music route. she likes to say that the fame came to her so fast it didn’t have time to get in her head

during this time she still visited her home during her free time to spend time with her old friends and go to school

eventually, mina realized that their mother was just using them and cut ties immediately

however, jini was more forgiving and still gives some of her paycheck to her mom

because her mother doesn’t have as much power over her, jini was able to decide to go to school more after filming her latest, major project

she didn’t really have much of an impact at school since she hardly went but on the rare occasions she would be there, everyone treated her nicely 

however, she’s excited to be back to be a kid again and to get as close to a normal life as she can

she’s also known as 1/2 of the chen twins. maritza is fifteen minutes younger than malannie and loves her sister very much. their tiger parents were pretty tough on them always pitting them against each other to develop their skills because their accomplishments earned them that $$$ but mitzi could never resent nie. they were each other’s support system, basically your wonder twin duo. they even got matching koi fish tattoos. mitzi has hers above her right elbow

in school, she’s up there on the social ladder. not as high up as her twin sister, but she was content where she was. she wasn’t a windsor, but she was windsor-adjacent

maybe zie was the more approachable twin, often perceived as the kinder, more compassionate one with the way she held herself, as well as the delightful sense of humor that was ever present in her public persona and when among friends

perhaps she was ‘nicer,’ she was never so outwardly malicious, but zie was not exactly a saint either. if anything, she just practiced more self-restraint and subtlety in maintaining a relatively wholesome image

suffice it to say that she lies a lot, and lies pretty well. her perfect little skating princess persona seemed to have been the most beneficial to put on. it pleased her coach, her parents, her peers, the public, and she had to admit it was convenient for herself

she does still get mistaken for her sister sometimes though and it makes for some interesting situations

she met dante for the first time with her sister when they were younger and in high school, most of the times she’s hung around dante were because of malannie, since the two have become thick as thieves

when malannie trained abroad during their junior year though and she remained in boston, maritza and dante formed a closer friendship and mitzi eventually served as his confidant.

after dante’s death, she was left with a number of his secrets that she was pretty certain those close to him didn’t even know. so far, she’s still unsure what to do about them

so uh basically eli’s parents were big criminals involved in money laundering, theft, blackmail, etc.

uh yeah when eli was around 5 his parents got found out and it was a very large thing and to this day there seem to have been deaths tied to the crimes

so yeah the situation became known as the “li scandals” bc they had been paying off people. trying to deny their faults, and uh not being good people

his parents got imprisoned so he moved in with his aunt and uncle who were like oh you poor boy okay do whatever you want aka a mistake,,,

at first it was ok 

eli just started focusing on art such as writing, painting, and photography and he was pretty good!

so he went to the best art school in the boston area

well when he gets there they’re all like,,, lol we do all these drugs and alcohol for inspiration so eli is like oh,, okay

but then he gets turned in to administration who expel him

so now he’s out of art school

born an angel, man. was an absolute good boy, v obedient, did everything his parents told him. he wasn’t a difficult child at all. he has a sister five years younger than him who he loves to bits

his dad was an architect and his mom a university professor, they weren’t exactly the richest family in their neighborhood but they had that nice comfortable upper middle class life. they had all their basic needs and then some. they’re weren’t struggling too much to get by, you know?

( tw: heart attack, death of a parent ) but when tristan was twelve, his dad died from a heart attack and everything changed because he’d left them with quite a bit of debt.

his mother did everything she could to keep the family afloat, even borrowing money from her parents, but tristan has seen her struggle so he’s tried his best to help her, whatever kind of help she needed.

he did consider dropping out to work instead, but his mother talked him out of it, not wanting him to ‘jeopardize his future.’ so he’s been studying hard and keeping his grades and extracurriculars in tip-top shape

personality-wise, he’s a pretty easygoing, pretty friendly, and overall charming guy. maybe in the beginning of his freshman year he was a lot more shy, having kept more to himself and a few friends, but eventually, by the latter half of the year, he adjusted. he’s not popular, not like the windsors, but up to now, people generally find him likable and easy to get along with. he’ll give you a high five and not keep you hanging.

he’s even hung around dante alvares sometimes, to people’s surprise, since they seemed to run in different circles, but it seemed they’d formed an unlikely friendship.

he doesn’t care much for his position in the social food chain as long as he wasn’t getting trouble for it. tristan thinks he has enough to deal with outside of school, but he doesn’t make that obvious.

his outward persona is rather carefree. it helps him stay optimistic. it seems easier to believe that he’s doing okay anyway, as long as he’s smiling.

is probably taking on too much. he’s a sensitive soul inside and has probably been on the verge of a breakdown for a while, but he’s also quite resilient and he can’t afford to break down completely. he’s hanging in there, rip.

probably also tries to help others more than he should. his heart’s in the right place, but maybe it’s also a coping mechanism.

princeton linville was born to a fairly large immediate family. his parents were nouveau riche businesspeople, meaning they weren’t old money and had only begun to prosper around the time that prince was born. in short, he was born just in time for them to not be poor anymore 😤😤😤 that’s why his siblings think he’s a son of a bitch who purposely chose to Not Get Born until he couldn’t contribute anymore

just kidding. they love him. but yeah, it’s different for him than for his older siblings. he loves to poke fun at his own kin for being so highly strung, but at the same time he does comprehend why they’re so neurotic and anxious. despite their riches, high society is reluctant to accept them as members. (especially as the fortune they do have, they’ve amassed from sugary drinks that are very commercially accessible to working- and middle-class people rather than something mad elitist and exclusionary like vintage wineries or smelly fancy cheeses)

dante discerned that princeton was clever like him. however, dante mistook princeton’s chill nature as an indicator of a lack of personal ambition, which would make him an ideal tool for dante’s clique: smart, but impressionable. this is why he took princeton under his wing, making him his protégé.

princeton,,,, just seized the opportunity (because dante was keeping him around his social kingdom a lot) to be a lowkey venomous dick to the bullies....... the anti-bully bully........ spreading a lil hate and strife among the elites

ABOUT;

Brooks is originally from New-Zealand. He was adopted by a lesbian couple, and has two older sisters. 

He moved to Boston when he was 12, because his parents inherited some money and a business ( a bed & breakfast ). His family isn’t rich, though. Brooks is a scholarship kid. 

He’s definitely not the brightest crayon in the box, and that’s putting it mildly, but he’s very talented at playing a lot of sports. He’s captain of the swim team and also plays lacrosse and soccer.

He was Dante’s romantic rival. For whatever reason, the two of them were always attracted to the same girls, and Dante would get super competitive with him over it, to the point where Brooks thought it was a lil scary, but it didn’t stop him from chasing after the pretty gals of Houghton. 

Brooks is super flakey with his crushes. He falls in and out of love very quickly, so his relationships usually don’t last longer than two or three months at most.  However, he’s a sucker for romance, so he does try to be a good boyfriend, and loves to take his significant other on cute dates and buy them gifts and such.

hi everyone!! it’s stella, back again with another disaster. may i present diana, dante’s bitter ex, aspiring lawyer and lowkey (okay, highkey) hot mess. like or pm if you wanna plot! (tw alcohol/drug mention)

she’s the second daughter of shamus brosnan jr, first son of shamus brosnan sr, who is one of the most influential men in boston. very religious irish catholic upbringing.

you’ve probably heard of her big sister cath, though. her parents nearly had to buy the school a whole new wing just to keep her enrolled. rumors abound about that infamous troublemaker

had a very happy childhood with her older sister cath, the two of them rambunctious little girls who always came home covered in dirt. unfortunately, when cath turned ten, their mother emilia decided they were too old for that nonsense. the same happened to diana when she turned ten.

diana was removed from muay thai lessons and girl scouts, and put into ballet and etiquette lessons. she took to it better than cath did, who full on rebelled and became the family black sheep.

her home life, right now, is very broken, ever since cath spilled to the press that shamus jr. was having an affair with supermodel chelsea david.

cath has since been sent to university across the country and all but banned from the family estate.

her parents refuse to get divorced, and have publicly “moved past” this incident, but we all know that ain’t the case.

despite cath being shunned from the family, diana still keeps in regular contact with her, and misses her sister more and more every day.

if the brosnan clan have a motto, it’s that ‘image is everything’ 

at school, diana is on the debate team, fixing to be captain, and pretends like she’s the most perfect and upright person on campus

but, between you and me, she’s a mess and lives for the fucking drama. she’s got a big brain and too much free time, she has to occupy herself with SOMETHING.

outwardly despises the windsors, thinks they’re stupid and pointless but, again, she lives for the drama. almost the same deal with the nietzsches, except she also thinks they’re uprooting the order of things, which is a big no-no for di.

if you can get past her condescending and cold nature, you’ll find what’s beneath; a fiery and sarcastic bitch with a dark sense of humor. 

the breakup between her and dante was anything but cordial; diana thought she found a kindred spirit in dante, someone who she could be wild and free with. she opened her heart, and she swears she’ll never open it again.

diana will never admit that dante completely broke her heart, even though its kind of obvious

anyways if she and dante were in a room together, people used to place bets on how long they can go without arguing. (average was ten minutes) 

since the breakup, she has but the metaphorical corset back on. less fire, more ice. she’s trying to keep all of her emotions in her chest until the day she dies.

both parents and both siblings were Windsors, so of course Alice was offered an invitation her freshman year. Specifically, the spot her brother left after he graduated. She definitely considered it until she saw how cruel they were to everybody and refused.

since she wasn’t a Windsor, she works hard as hell to be the best in her activities of choice to make up for it. She’s a national debate team champion, an integral part of the glee club, and one of the top under 18 female tennis players in Massachusetts.

Hello friends! I’m Eddie, and I’m gonna be playing this mess (as the admins accurately put it) of a person Leonard. I have no idea how good this intro is gonna be since im gonna try to write things that aren’t in his headcanons but I wanted to write something before we opened so here we go!

he was adopted as a baby by two older parents. When he was adopted, Leonard’s dad had a prominent job at a baking goods distribution company, but the company went bankrupt when Leonard was two.

The family isn’t poor by any means, but they are solidly middle class, which at this school might as well be poor.

Being the annoying kid in classes caused him to not make any friends except for online, and he still has some friends from elementary school in minecraft servers.

His love of minecraft is actually what led him to wanting to be an architect or a game designer, he’s not sure which yet

before the formation of the Nietzsches, at lunch, you could always find Leonard at the corner table alone, both earbuds in and sketching or playing a game on his phone.

if you happen to start a conversation with him, it’ll go one of two ways. Either it’ll be a topic he likes so he could ramble for a while, or if he’s not interested, he’ll either steer the conversation towards something hes hyperfixated right now (currently its Overwatch and Petscop) or he’ll get distracted really easily.

he HAS gotten better in the past year, though, thanks to actually having irl friends for the first time in his life. He’s slowly started to gain confidence, cuz if two people wanted to be his friends, then others would eventually too, right?

its also helped him learn a few social cues, like “oh, this persons eyes are glazing over after i’ve talked about the mechanics of Brigitte for the past ten minutes, maybe I should try to ask them a question”

he’s one of the scholarship kids, and he’s on his way to becoming valedictorian

because of the Windsors, one in particular, there’s still a rumor going around that Leonard became really obsessed with a girl and started stalking her, even though it wasn’t true at all. The only reason it stuck was because Leonard can get very passionate very quickly, so it wasn’t a hard leap for people to think it could work for people as well.

his music taste is very two thousands warped tour. Mayday Parade, Falling in Reverse, Cartel, FOB, Panic at the Disco, bands like that.

he stutters when he’s nervous, which is... a lot of the time.
