🙃 @twitter support is funny... So one of my accounts gets compromised. The app notifies me that an unknown login occurred, and that I should change my password. I'm unable to change my password as both the username and email address have been changed. So I contact support and they tell me to send them information about my username, email address and date last logged in. They replied and ensured, "We're here to help." But "FIRST"... Send a tweet. What? I replied to remind them I've been locked out, so obviously, I could not send the tweet. Well, it wasn't "FIRST"... It was "ONLY." Because the next email states that "we can't assist you" and "please do not respond" as replies to this email "are not monitored" (even though it was the exact same email address as the support thread in which we've been communicating). OH... And then, they ask me to take a survey to see if I'm satisfied with their support. What do YOU think? There aren't any better questions to ask to verify my account? Like what my old password might be or where I sent my last tweet? Things that my hacker wouldn't know? Or verify through my last known email address? As my most recent tweet was less than 24 hours ago. So - that's it. Account since 2007 or 2008, active for over 10 years... Gone just like that because of some hacker and Twitter's unwillingness to sincerely help. Don't say you're "here to assist" when you're not, that something is the "first" step when you have no intention of the "second," or lie to say an email address is not monitored when we were literally conversing moments ago with the same email address. Then - close the ticket without resolution and asking if the support is satisfactory. Gee... I dunno. Would YOU be?
