Honestly, I'm kinda excited at this point to see what godforsaken changes happen to twatter every day.

The funny thing about Musk announced that he willl unban every ban account is that many accounts that get ban , it happened to be porn account.

Musk think he can let's his right wing cult go wide but mark my words, the entire twitter will be full of porn instead.

Musk really don't understand that unlike 4chan, Twitter 's user isn't contain in "catalog" or within subset of community like Reddit. It like free for all public place where everything is on the front page which is the reason why corporation and band use Twitter in the first place.

Vanilla JS is great until you have to start using it in real life world. Here are some examples of what's really important when working on highly scalable web applications

Maintainbility

Debuggability

A/B testing

Understnding customer needs

Issue investigations and gradual rollouts

Design decisions - cost vs revenue analysis

Monetization

and many many others

As you can see I have barely touched the actual JS framework to be used. While technical decisions do matter, pushing Vanilla JS because you are unable to fathom the breath of challenges faced by services like Twitter, just speaks about your shortcomings.

There is a reason Node.js has become popular for backend development instead of devs whipping out their own V8 based JS runtimes. There are more important shit to be dealth with. React will work just fine and spending inordinate amount of time deciding which frontend JS framework to use ends up becoming nothing more than bikeshedding.
