"I-ummm... I think I killed him." Hunk stares down at the Galran soldier that had been attacking Pidge. The only thing he remembered was his legs moving and wrapping his hands around the soldier's throat.

"Are you okay?" Hunk fretted over Pidge, "Any injuries?" He checks over them to see anyhow.

Keith's eyes wavered, showing the uncertainty he truly felt. "I'm not trying to keep any of you out on purpose!" he pointed out. "I-I just..."

He sucked in a deep breath and let it out. "...There's just too much going on..." He frowned deeply. "I'm still trying to process the fact that Shiro actually died, and he just came back... and Princess Allura's still reeling over that mess with Lotor..." He shook his head. "I'm trying to hold everyone together as the leader, and I don't want people to see me falling apart."

The question about his scar just made him wince. "...he was trying to kill both of us," he repeated. "He was fighting me with his plasma sword and somehow, Kuron's arm was able to augment even more to become a plasma cannon that destroyed the platforms we were on..."

"Then, after I nearly passed out, he tried to decapitate me..." Keith let out a shaky breath. "The scar came from the heat of his plasma sword because that's how close it was to my neck." His eyes darkened. "By some miracle, my blade transformed and I was able to cut his arm off before he could finish the job."

He let out another slow breath to try and calm himself after finally saying the gruesome details out loud. Then, he finally reacted to the younger paladin's words. "...Pidge, I'm flattered you look up to me, but I'm not sure if I'm worthy of being admired by anyone..."

Pidge doesn't at all mind when Keith leans into them, in fact it causes them to relax further. Though, they don't miss the hesitation when they trace the scar.

"Do you know that..? Truly..? What happened out there Keith..? You can't keep us out like this forever... what happened.. talk to me.. what.. how did you get this...?"

While they couldn't relate to a parent leaving for good like Keith had experienced, their dad had left on many a dangerous mission, so the feeling was one they understood, if even just a bit.

"Of course I do, why wouldn't I..? Honest..? Apart from Shiro.. I look up to you the most.. so.. don't go selling yourself short? Please?"

Keith rolled his eyes when he heard Pidge's comment. He turned around just in time to catch the coat that was thrown at him. He glanced down at the small size and raised an eyebrow. "...Why are you even carrying around a coat in here?"

"I was already on my way to take a shower," he added with a huff. "I'll put a shirt on after I'm done."

"Put your shirt back on, Keith, there ain't no one here want to see that!"

They giggle, playfully making a show of gagging and covering their mouth. Pidge is just giving him a hard time, knowing that he'd been training. They, however, do throw a coat at him with a smirk.

" Get  your  hands  off  me!  I  said  I’m  fine,  stop  treating  me  like  I’m  fuckin'  broken! " The outburst came from seemingly nowhere, and while Hunk likely had only their best interest at heart, Pidge couldn't help but react negatively to the touch - after all, it was unexpected, and they just wanted to be left to their own devices... right? "Just.. stop!" ~ @hackxrgod

Hunk hesitates before he continues the conversation.

"I'm not treating you like you're broken. I just want to know what's wrong with you! Your outburst is---" Hunk's voice trails off trying to figure out the right words for this situation, "is not like you at all." He finishes, letting his hand drop to his sides.

"Is it... Something we said?"

Keith just groaned heavily. How did he fall for that?!

"Course I am, dummy. How could I have even thought of reaching it to get in?"

"Okay! Okay!" Hunk laughs as he is being dragged into their room. He smiles as he sits down on their bed with the controller in his hands. The only time he really played any video games was with Lance and with his nieces and nephews.

"I bet! C'mon, let's gooooooo~!!" There's a small giggle as Pidge grabs his arm, dramatically pulling him towards their room. The youngest of the group really did show act it when it came to their patience level and gaming.

"w-WAIT hold on-" Before Rima could say ANYTHIGN. Pidge had grabbed her hand, and now she was being dragged around by them.

She IS not taking part in the chanting. She KNOWS nothing, but she is giggling a little. Mostly because of Pidges energy.

"I don't understand... Is it because those two don't know how to swim?" (From @penandswords )

"You.... you are my new favorite person.... come with me.." And without missing a beat, Pidge is grabbing Rima's hand and running through the castle.

"LANCE AND KEITH CAN'T SWIM!! LANCE AND KEITH CAN'T SWIM!!"

Keith squinted. "Why the hell would i have voluntarily gone to find the pool on my own if I knew I couldn't swim?!"

"Sounds like something a liar would say!"

"...goddammit...!" Keith gave a frustrated groan and stormed off, leaving a trail of glitter behind him.

"Sparkle boy~ Sparkle boy~"

"No, I'm just a really good swimmer--!!" He was definitely not part dolphin. "Can you even swim, Pidge?"

@whereheartscollide replied: "I CAN TOO SWIM!! YOU SAW ME JUMP OUT OF THAT FOUNTAIN LIKE A DOLPHIN--"

"The only thing that tells me, Lance, is that you're part dolphin~"

Rima stood quietly taking in the information. The thought of being stuck in space was not an entertaining situation. Her mind wanted to run through all of the people back home. Who might start worrying upon her sudden disappearance.

Deep breaths rima. Deep breaths. Panic won't solve the problem.

"I wouldn't say kidnapped. I assume he just got a little to excited and that's how we got here." Naturally she didn't expect they could get him to do something like this on command. Space was a huge place, and she has no clue how far away they were from her home.

"I was in the middle of a shift at a hero agency." While her tasks weren't all that important. She can only imagine what her co-workers might be thinking.

Considering she was always there.

"I imagine figuring out how to get back home might take awhile, but I don't want to be a burden on you either. My biggest worry at the moment is getting a message sent back home. There are people who might get worried if they can't find me."

“Sooooo…..” They hum a sound out, trying to gather their thoughts. After all…. it wasn’t every day that Kosmo decided to just zap in someone. “Kosmo just.. kidnapped you? Were you uhh… in the middle of anything..?”

Pidge isn’t… exactly the best with new people. And this wasn’t going to be an exception. They turn back to their computer, a slight pout on their face as they start brainstorming. “We can’t exactly… force Kosmo to do anything.. he marches to the beat of his own drum… but… we can try and make you comfortable here…?”

Keith surprisingly leaned into the hug almost immediately. He nearly buried his head against Pidge's shoulder but stopped short when they touched his scar. He nearly flinched at the touch but didn't pull away.

"I...I know that..." Keith replied, though it sounded more like he were trying to convince himself of this fact rather than being confident about it. "It wasn't Shiro, and... Krolia had her reasons for leaving me..."

Yeah, the thing with his mom still hurt just a bit if he were being honest with himself. Kuron saying that she abandoned him certainly didn't help his complicated feelings over that topic.

He paused, eyes widening a little at Pidge's words. "...you look up to me?"

Taking him leaning back as an invitation, the younger paladin carefully wraps their arms around him - sighing a soft sound out as they relax a tad bit more.

They're letting him speak, letting him get all of his thoughts and feelings about the dream.. about the memories out in the air before they even think about saying a word.

Pidge listens carefully, nodding slowly and doing his best to ensure the other's aware that they are paying attention. "Keith.. I.. oh god. I can't even start to think about how that must feel.."

"Kuron.. he..... I know he looked like Shiro but.. he wasn't him.. even though.. it took us until then.." They take a deep breath, voice shaking as they try to fight back their own tears at seeing the other so... vulnerable. Pidge finds themself absentmindedly bringing their hand up to trace the scar lining Keith's face, a soft pout present on theirs. "You're none of those things... I.. look up to you so much... okay..? Please.. tell me you know that you're not any of those things..? that you're so strong..."
