You know, if I did a Fury Road AU, you'd think Kara would be Furiosa, because she's got the brute strength behind her, and Lena would be one of the wives, with her princess in a tower motif going on.

But really, if you look harder, it'd be the opposite.

Kara would be one of Immortan Lex's wives, surrounded by her circle of sisters and fellow wives. Lena would be the outlier, the trusted lieutenant who isn't suitable for the harem but kept close for her loyalty and intellect.

That is, until Lena and Kara connect and start conspiring to escape. Lena's birth mother would have been one of the Vuvalini, to whom Lena runs in search of green and belonging. Kara would simply stick with her wherever she went, desperate to be free and be close to Lena.

But when Immortan Lex comes riding for them, they soon learn it's time to make their stand.
