I 100% need to revisit these two and draw them with updated references, but for now I’ll settle for updated colours and patterns. So, here is Renjai’s mom and dad!

Renjai fully believes her mother was killed in an honourable combat. The truth of her death is much more sinister - as her father set Hailith up to fail with paying off trolls to attack whenever Hailith was unprepared.
Kadir assassinated his own wife out of spite for the child they brought into the world.

We mourn the loss of Hailith.
He worked for the colony, and in turn sacrificed his life.
A good worker to the end, and the first to succumb to the rot.
He will be missed.

There was at least one troll not paying attention to the goings on outside of her dwell. Ale in hand and mood recovered from initial bottled emotion over rest the she-troll’s head was bunted against that of her mother’s, the duo once again engrossed in conversation.

Continued from here
Mother. “That’s... that’s impossble.” Hailith.
“Ren.” Draal approaches his bonded, placing a hand upon her shoulder before looking to the other troll, then back to Renjai. His brain was firing on all cylinders, and the Razorback’s face was as serious about the situation as it could possibly get.
There was no choice but to believe her.
“Hailith,” He chuffs, doing his best to present himself with dignity, “I... whoa.”
His intended words and standard greeting are quickly forgotten in his awe. Instead, he resorts to a simple bow of the head.
...which then becomes a full blown kneel.

From what he knew of Hailith, these were moments to be cherished. Grey magics like this never last long; he knew that Renjai would be a changed troll once it eventually wears off - as would he for that matter. The stories he had heard had him believing, low-key, that she was a god in comparison to Kadir. In his mind, his response was justified.
Goofy, unnecessary, but justified.

So. Hailith. Are you going to go see Kadir before this wears off?
‘I-’ there’s conflict on mottled face. Hailith has thought of it, and has thought about spending her full length of time with Renjai. Breathing out a sigh through snout heavy horned head will give a slow shake. ‘No. I will not; my daughter is the only one who’s company I will keep of my family. Messing with his emotions through my return is not my desire - let him keep thinking I am at peace.’

Phlox prances in with a bundle of Woolly Blue Curls hanging from her mouth. Though it’s only August, she’s already started to prepare for the cold months. These can be dried and set aside for medicine, but she needs someone tall enough to hang them up. Setting the bundle aside, she sniffs around for Ren. There’s a new smell here, too. She tilts her head. “Mama? Brought flowers! You got guest?” — littlephloxflower

Renjai was just about to go fetch her pebble, too. Perking at the voice echoing through dwell the she-troll drops to all fours to go greet, and scoop, the little Porume up in one of her arms.
‘I do, little Phlox. Someone I would like you to meet.’

"Are my eyes deceiving me?" He is unsure if he is being double or not. It was true that two Kitlar in the Market at any one time was a rarity, but three was too uncommon to be believed. And yet, here the three of them were. Standing in the entrance of her dwell, with axe slung over shoulder, his eyes narrow in confusion. "Ren? Who is this?"
Draal’s voice always caused reaction. Now was no exception, even with short dialogue. Both sets of ears swiveling to the noise it is Renjai’s mother that moves first. Sitting straight and then hefting frame up onto feet, the she-troll with curled horns and scarlet growths took a few steps forward towards the blue warrior as Renjai followed closely at her flank.
Nostrils flaring to take in scent - ales, metals, oils, dirt and leathers, the elder of the trio’s jaw then moves to the side to form a slow approving grin. Kiltar, with a weapon. Ren. A nickname for a titled fighter that only those close to one could use. This was the bond.
‘She,’ Renjai spoke up as she sidestepped her mother to stand partially off to the side but between the two, ‘is... Hailith. Mother, Draal.’

"Mom has raised me really well!" Hope beams up at Hailith. "I know all about troll history, I'm learning smithing, /and/ fighting; I earned the right to enter the Heim in a fight!"
‘Then she has raised you true,’ the large warrior rumbles softly. Stooping down two-tone gaze passes over Hope’s face before expression takes on a pleased aspect at the boast. ‘A feat for outsider trolls, let alone softskins. Hold that achievement close and keep those lessons learned in mind.’

There was a stranger in Trollmarket. Another crystalback, bright crimson with mottled hide, and openly confused as to why they were present. One Kiltar was strange, two moreso, but three? Unheard of. The murmuring began as swiftly as the troll appeared - spreading through stalls and shops, paths and gatherings. Soft tittering, whispers that passed by long ears as Renjai hastened along the trail she stumbled upon, following its winding breadth to the actual marketplace itself. What did they want? Why were they here?
Deya’s Grace. Was the creature telling the truth? Was the magic genuine? A troll back from the dead after centuries of rest. Mouth pulled into a frown the warrior dropped to all fours to bound the remaining path, scanning hides for familiarity. Minutes passed, no luck, until the murmurs gave rise to chatter. Slowing stride, Renjai raises herself into a half-haunch to peer over heads and at crimson. Her. It was her.
Ears lowering the she-troll could feel the threat of tears on its way.
Approaching the other, trolls wise of sharp growths on body, prosthetic gives Renjai away over the bustle of the market with its creak. Ears swiveling to the sound the newcomer’s head follows to focus on... kin. Fiery eyes staring at sunny ones the duo are silent for a long, pregnant pause until Renjai shakes head and lurches forward to close the gap.
Embracing the other tightly, face burries itself in the crook of shoulder. Hailith was here. Here, breathing, embracing the warrior securely back, and, and-- The centuries old dam of internalized feelings breaks, Renjai crumpling against her mother as she openly weeps.
Ignoring how crystal prickled and scored hide the older Kiltar drew her child ever closer, arms resting in patches of stone that posed less threat of bleeding. She knew where to touch to offer comfort and be comfortable out of practice but getting nicked was not on Hailith’s mind. Only the troll in her grip was important. There was still confusion at her predicament yet with her here, she could let it lie for a short time. Resting cheek against the purple and red warrior’s neck a purr starts up, a wordless gesture of comfort.

Raised her as true as possible? What does that mean?

Hey Hailith, what do you think of Razorback having a human child instead of a troll whelp?
‘I trust her judgement and her capabilities.’ Hailith responds evenly. ‘If she has decided to bring a human into her fold, then I also trust she has raised the child as true as possible.’

Hailith, what do you think of your daughter's bond?
‘You have a bond?’ The older she-troll questioned while looking towards her child, who blinked above the rim of her mug. Lowering tankard, the younger female took a moment before head bobbed in a nod; with the confirmation Hailith broke out into a gentle smile.
‘A blue Kiltar by the name of Draal,’ Renjai started, voice low and shy under the bright gaze of her kin. ‘Son of Kanjigar. A friend made through drink and fighting, held closer over time. His loyalty is strong as well as feelings - a good Sire.’
‘Sire?’ Hailith’s frame straightened in surprise, tail twitching. ‘Are you with kits?’
Ears lilting down the purple and red warrior breathed out a laugh before taking another drink. ‘Not of our blood, no Mother. A Porume whelp is our closest to that for the time being.’ As well as little Hope and Hannah but those two were more independent than Phlox.
‘Would... you be opposed to me meeting this Draal of yours?’ Came Hailith’s query, the name vaguely familiar to her from association with the Trollhunter. Her curiosity was a powerful thing - as was maternal desire to see just what Renjai had chosen as right for her.
‘It is my intention to introduce you two shortly.’
