Tumblr media
You had been lying on the luxurious couch of you and Rindou’s shared apartment for what felt like days awaiting his return. He had warned you about his less than peaceful job when you two became official. Rindou didn't give you details but it didn't take a genius to figure out what he did for a living to support the both of you. Almost a year into your relationship he asked you to move in and quit your job, his reasoning for this was ‘his princess deserves only the very best treatment’, you had laughed at this, declining to quit your job but agreeing to live with him. He was overjoyed at the thought and less than a week later your lease had ended and you began moving your things into his expensive flat. He had taken a few days off work to help you move in. Unpacking seemed tedious but Rindou made sure to make it fun due to the fact he finally had the time and attention that you usually didn't get because of his occupation. Rindou made sure that he was the one to unpack all your lingerie which made you less than amused. Unpacking everything you owned took almost a full week and Rindou knew as soon as he got back to Bonten’s Headquarters he would be swamped with work. Which meant overtime for him.
You felt guilt over this but he assured you that, ‘he would take an infinite amount of overtime if it meant he could hang out with you for a few days’. Here you are now, endlessly checking the clock which now reads 2:04 A.M. laying on the couch awaiting his arrival as the dinner you cooked sitting on the table gets cooler by the minute. You groaned getting up from your comfortable position on the couch to package up the food you and him were meant to eat tonight. As you were tin foiling the food you heard the jingle of keys and the click of the door opening. You smiled to yourself in relief knowing your lover got home safely another night, always on edge and anxiously awaiting his return due to his dangerous job. You heard tired footsteps slowly approaching. You turned your head till your eyes met a very tired Rindou, you tried to hide your giggle when you noticed his hair sticking up in different directions, his collared shirt unbuttoned, the dark circles under his eyes and his slouched posture. You turn your head back around to bring your focus back to packaging up the cold food but as you were about to greet him you felt warm hands snake their way around your waist and your back being pressed against his chest. You feel short kisses going up and down your neck and the ticklish feeling of his lips on your skin makes you let out a small laugh. While you're giggling you feel him smile against your neck which makes you turn around to face him, smiling. You look him in the eyes and take in just how tired he looks. You're both enjoying this silent peaceful moment of holding each other chest to chest when you take one of your hands that was wrapped around his torso and bring it up to his face where you trace your thumb over his cheekbone. He groans and leans into your touch and you use your other hand to lead him to the bed and set him there. He's now half asleep laying on the bed still fully dressed in his work clothes and the sight makes you hold in a laugh. Just as you're about to turn off the lights and go back to the kitchen to finish up your work he grabs your wrist and you let out a squeak when he pulls you down into bed and holds you tightly against his chest. You hear his tired deep voice rasp out a quiet “sleep well princess”. His deep voice makes your cheeks warm up as you do your best to hide it. You think he didn't notice this but he felt the way your face warmed up against his chest but fortunately for you, he's too tired to tease you about it so for now he will just pull you closer to his heart. He tucks your head under his chin while one of his hands is tracing lines up and down your back and the other arm is under your waist holding you close. Soothing nights like these with you, he will cherish till the end of time. His last thought before he dozes off is of you and how much overflowing love you both have for each other.

Tumblr media
˗ˏˋ DRAKEN
draken knew you always preferred to teach yourself things, to stick to your own way of studying, to not have anyone or anything interfere with your routine during exam season. he knows, without fail, you’ll always reject his proposal to help you, but eventually he finds there’s nothing he loves more than to see your cheeks redden at his praise for your work. even if you push him off and tell him to let you continue <3
“why don’t you let me help, baby? wouldn’t you get it done faster?” he mumbled into your hair before reaching forwards to take your notes from you. “i don’t need help, kenny, ‘m fine! ‘s not about doing it fast, anyways.” of course you were. even if the bags under your eyes and very few hours sleep you had under your belt said otherwise. a kiss was pressed to your cheek before he sat himself down in the chair next to you, resting his head on his crossed arms as he looked up at you. draken decided not to push you for let him help. “how’d y’r exam t’day go? know you were dreadin’ that one.” it’s sweet, you think, the way his eyelids seem to be getting harder to hold open but he’s probably still thinking up a plan to work his way around your stubbornness to get you into bed at a reasonable time.
“it was fine,” you put your notes down and turned to face him, “i finished with time to spare, too, so i don’t think i did that bad.” of course you did well. you always do, draken thought with a smile. “c’mere.” he nodded his head to the side, signalling for you to sit in his lap. his embrace was comforting, warm, too warm, even, for your tired state couldn’t help but relax into it like you’d been longing to all day. “gettin’ tired, angel?” draken could practically feel you melting into him as he rubbed up and down your back. “mhm… but i gotta finish up, kenny, c’mon.” your attempt at moving back to your original chair was futile as draken pulled you back down into a gentle kiss.
“hmm… but my baby’s so smart, ain’t ya?” he spoke against your lips, and you couldn’t help the way your cheeks reddened at his comment. “don’t think you need t’do anymore when you’re already doing so good… think ya need to come to bed with me ‘n’ get some sleep, hm?” he could feel your smile against his cheek as he kissed anywhere he could without you shying away from him. draken almost chuckled at your actions. he’d always known you to be an independent person, dealing with everything yourself, and though he was no stranger to your stresses and anxieties, seeing you this flustered was rare to him. fuck, you’re so cute.
“what’s this all about, sweets?” he pinched your cheek between a pointer and thumb, “got somethin’ you wanna tell me?” draken’s grin is wide as you peer down into your lap. you know exactly what he wants you to say, to admit that all you want to hear right now is how good you’re doing, how clever you are, to have your hard work appreciated when you feel like it’s futile and a waste of time. though you shook your head as you met his eyes once again, “shut up.” draken hummed at your response, the chewing of your lip and the remains of your bashful smile gave him the wordless answer he wanted. “c’mon then, smart ass, y’re coming to bed with me,” he patted your thigh as a signal get up, “can’t have my clever little thing over workin’ yourself when you’ve got all those other exams to do, can i?”
˗ˏˋ RINDOU
if there was one thing rindou had learned about you it was that once you start something you want to finish it, and you want to finish it well. you want to finish it yourself, it doesn’t feel the same if someone helps you, you tell him. but he knows you’re only human, so when mikey comes and drops another tower of rindou’s paperwork on your desk when you’re already up to your neck in it and it’s almost two in the morning, it’s not hard for him to notice the cracks in your resilience
“what’re you still doin’ here?” you heard rindou mumble from the doorway of your office. blood covered his knuckles and fingers, under his rings, and trailed up to his forearms in spatters. his hair was tousled and messy, violet eyes sleepier than usual. from where he leaned, he looked frightening. beautiful, but frightning. “‘m finishing paperwork.” rindou raised a brow, almost confused, as he checked the clock. two in the morning? finishing paperwork? you must’ve gone mad; it looked like you’d barely started with the piles mikey had dropped on your desk. “that’s your work, is it?” he spoke from the front of your desk. “hm? oh, no, it’s yours,” you held up the sheet you’d been writing, “i already finished my work, but mikey just asked me to get a bit of yours done while you were gone… didn’t have to do all of it but i may as well since i’ve started it.” sleepy was the smile that rested on your face. so pretty, he thought.
rindou sighed in response to your commitment and strolled over to you, wrapping his arms around your shoulders and giving your cheek a quick kiss. “y’know you don’t wanna do all that, baby, c’mon,” kiss, “y’half asleep anyways, let me deal with it tomorrow, kay? need t’rest that pretty head of yours now.” you sighed and slumped backwards into your chair. it’s just work, it’s not even yours, you thought to yourself. you just couldn’t stand having to hand over the responsibility of doing all that work to someone else. you knew that feeling was silly, though, you just couldn’t help it sometimes. the man behind you could already guess the response travelling up your throat, ready to be mumbled out in defeat. rindou pulled away and beckoned you with a finger to stand up, “why don’t you try thinkin’ of the stuff you've already done, hm? come here ‘n’ tell me about it, sweets.” you always appreciated rindou’s attempts at comforting you, despite him never being one to comfort people, only one to help them forget about their current issue.
you followed him to the couch in your office and laid your tired head in his lap, strong thighs like pillows to you. and although you mostly spoke through a yawn, you told him about the work you did that day. “mhm, good job, baby.” a thumb stroked your cheek before he pulled you up for a quick kiss or two by your jaw. your smile, shy and a little toothy, was felt against his lips as your cheeks reddened under his touch. “such a good little angel f’me, aren’t you? doin’ my work when you don’t need to.” he took note of how warm your cheeks were on the tips of his fingers and pulled away from your face so you could hide your timidity no longer.
rindou had always had an inkling, even before you were dating, that you enjoyed hearing things like that; having your work appreciated and acknowledged, feeling supported for once. your silly attempts at hiding your smile that never worked. he could tell you’d always been independent, enjoyed being independent, though he also knew that sometimes you wanted to take a break or to not do everything by yourself, to let someone hold your hand for a while. “i didn’t know you could be so shy, i thought you would’a told me to shut up by now.” you looked up at his stupid smirk, knowing he wanted to hear it from you. playful arguing was futile option as any attempt made was to refute rindou’s statement was a failed one. it was worth a shot. you placed your head back on his thighs and your smile said it all, “you like it when i tell you those things don’t you? it’s what you deserve to hear.”
your grin hadn’t faltered, a sigh passing your lips. “mhm... yeah.”
rindou knew he was going to tease you about this forever now. he also knew that you’d deny everything every single time <3

getting on a heated argument with rindou so you made him sleep on the couch. you know what he did in retaliation? he took all the mf-ing blankets & pillows and started building himself a whole ass blanket fort, smack dab in the middle of the living room.
"oh now you're jealous? no no no don't think about getting in, you want to have the bed so bad didn't you? go sleep on that boring ass rectangle of a block, let me enjoy my stay at casa de haitani"
now you can't even go to the toilet or the kitchen without him obnoxiously exclaiming how much he's enjoying himself right now. and you hate how he's definitely right about you being jealous of the fort he took all the pillows (he did leave you atleast one pillow, but it's the one that was so rigid none of you ever uses it; also the smelly blanket that he refuses to put on the washer for some reason).
ugh, he's such a little shit who just won't apologize >:/ can't believe he's letting you go to sleep with an unresolved squabble between you two.
little did you know, he's intentionally waiting for you to fall asleep so that he can carry you inside his humble castle. after all, he built it with his queen in mind.

You first met Rindou at eight years old, when you were leaving your ballet class with your mother. On the way out, you peeked through one of the spare open doors to see a young boy practicing his splits in an empty room. Though it was only a couple of seconds you got a glimpse of him, you were already fascinated by the sheer fact alone that he could do the splits.
In your ballet class, no one could do them yet. You were competing with this other girl—the two of you being the only ones closest to the ground. You were determined to beat her, determined to talk to this boy and get him to teach you.
So you waited.
Your next class, a week later on Saturday, you told your mother to drop you an hour before your ballet class. You ran towards the door to the room you saw him in last time, but it was empty. So you checked the next one, then the one after that. Opening each door led to an empty one.
Fifteen minutes you’d spent searching through empty rooms.
It’s clear he wasn’t here.
Your stomach rumbles loudly and you frown, all disappointed and hungry, as you walk to the entrance of the building over to where the vending machine is. Reaching inside your tiny backpack, you grab a couple coins you had taken from your piggy bank this morning and choose a chocolate bar.
Unknown to you, Rindou walks out from the bathrooms, dusting his clothes off and lining up behind you for the vending machine. You grab your bar and begin to walk away, not before catching a small glimpse of the blonde hair from yesterday, then you drop your gaze onto his face then scream.
“YOU!”
It’s a miracle the floor was empty, only the receptionist at her desk typing away but didn’t bother to pay the two of you any attention. Rindou gets startled and flinches for a moment, before looking at you confused. “What?”
“YOU! You’re the guy from last week!”
You should really shut up now before you reveal that you’d been staring at him that one time, and now made it your life goal to search for him.
“What guy…?”
“The splits! You did them!”
“Uhhh, yeah? So?” Rindou gives you one last look before reaching inside his pocket, grabbing a coin and putting it into the machine. You watch as a soda can drops out from the bottom and he bends down to grab it.
“I—how did you learn how to do it? I really need to learn and I thought you could help me.” Your grip on your bag straps tighten as you wait for him to finish drinking his soda. It seems like forever, that one sip turned out to be him downing the drink for almost 30 seconds straight, all the while maintaining eye contact with you.
Just as he stopped drinking for air, your eyes sparkled, waiting for him to spill the secret, only for him to bring the drink back to his lips.
He’s doing this on purpose.
“Hey! Stop wasting my time and tell me!” You’re so tempted to knock the drink from his hands and let it spill onto the floor, but one glance at the janitor mopping the floors on the other end of the room had you shaking your head, discarding your plan immediately.
Rindou laughs and removes his drink from his lips, forearm coming up to wipe the drops of soda from his lips. “Fine. I’ll tell you, but you cannot repeat the secret to anybody. Promise?”
You nod so fast you get dizzy. “Let’s pinky promise.”
“No. I don’t do that.”
“Oh.” You feel a bit disappointed but don’t complain. He’s teaching you the secret to flexibility. You follow behind him with a smile as he walks towards the hallway with the rooms, throwing the can into the bin on the way out. The two of you enter an empty room and he closes the door behind him.
“Okay, what now.”
Rindou looks at the clock, seeing it’s only 1:34PM. He knows most classes start at 2PM, so he doesn’t have long to teach you. He ends up showing you a couple stretches he does at home while he’s watching TV or playing board games with his older brother. The stretches hurt your thighs, but Rindou told you that’s how you know it’s working. But if the pain gets unbearable, then you should stop and take a break before continuing.
Taking his advice, you’d spent the next month doing those same painful stretches and it wasn’t long before you were the first person in your ballet class to ever do the splits.
You found Rindou at the park one day while you were hanging out with your friends. You didn’t keep in touch with Rindou, not seeing him at the leisure centre often, so once you saw him, you practically bolted towards him, all out of breath and talking way too fast for him to understand what you’re saying.
“Woah, calm down and talk slower.”
You nod your head, taking a couple minutes to catch your breath before repeating what you had said earlier, about how you were the first one to do the splits in your class and you had gotten rewarded for it.
“Oh. It’s no problem.” Rindou smiles at you. You give him a toothy grin back and you’re tempted to hug him, but decide against it, not wanting to make things more awkward.
Rindou had expected you to leave the second you thanked him, but was left confused as you stayed, eyes watching his every move with a smile on your face. “Are you here alone?” You ask him the question, looking around the park bench, seeing nobody else around him.
“No. I’m here with my brother.”
You look around one more time and Rindou scoffs. “He’s not here right now, idiot. He’s on his way.”
“Ohhhhh.” You jump onto the park bench, resting your feet on the seats and sit next to him. “I’ll keep you company then.”
“Okay…” Rindou didn’t know if he was comfortable with this, but he never pushed you away or ignored you. He answered every single one of your questions that you’d asked him, trying to know more about him as a person. From your little questionnaire, you found out that he’s only one year older than you, he’s been doing gymnastics since he was 5 years old, he has an older brother called Ran, and lives with his single mother. He likes the colour blue—it doesn't matter the shade, whether light or dark, he loves it and even said he wants to dye his hair blue one day. You told him he’d look weird, he said that’s the point, and how he likes to stand out, which is why he loves doing the splits because it weirds people out.
His brother came around 10 minutes later, holding a plastic white bag in his hands. “Here, take it.” He lazily tossed the bag onto Rindou’s lap and you watched as Rindou dug through the contents like a mole digging through the earth. The smile on Rindou’s face when he saw the packet of jelly beans he’d been craving all week made you smile too. Rindou had a moody face most times, barely ever smiling or laughing, so to see this side of him over something so small made your heart twinge.
You were too focused on Rindou, and he was too focused on his candy, that you didn’t notice Ran scanning you up and down. “Who are you?” He asks after a moment and you break contact with Rindou’s face to look at his brother. If you had thought Rindou was tall, Ran was even taller. Long blonde hair into pigtail braids stopping around his mid shoulder.
“I—uh—” You didn’t really know what to say. You can’t introduce yourself as ‘Rindou’s friend’ because technically, you weren’t friends. You barely spoke to him unless it regarded information about gymnastics and that was around a month ago.
“She’s my friend.” Rindou speaks out for you, mouth full of jelly beans that made Ran’s face cringe up in disgust. But he was happy for his brother that he hadd managed to make a new friend.
“Cool. What’s your name?”
Rindou eagerly listened in too, waiting for you to say your name. It was then he realised he didn’t even know your name or anything about you.
“Just call me [Name].”
“Nice name.” Rindou sends you a small smile before chomping down on the jelly beans again. Your friends, the ones you had arrived at the park with initially, approached the bench asking you if you were coming to the swings with them.
You shook your head and said you want to hang out with Rindou. They thought it was a bit weird at first. Hanging out with boys, but didn’t speak much of it and went down to the swings. Rindou was confused, why you chose him over your actual friends. But the outcome wasn’t so bad, because the two of you hung out even more often since then.
You were 11 years old when you’d dropped out of ballet and stopped doing anything flexible with your body. You’d just grown out of it. Rindou had also stopped, but it was a year before you. He was still insanely flexible that it pissed you off how he still had it in him even without stretching for all those years.
Puberty was probably the worst time of Rindou’s life.
Ever.
It was then he realised he had some sort of feelings for you? He didn’t even know himself, it was confusing. When he had the talk with his mother about his body, and how he was ‘changing’, he coughed it up as bullshit, to which she punished him for swearing. But he didn’t take it back.
His mother gave him a list of things he wasn’t allowed to do with you anymore, like holding hands, sleeping on the same bed, and hugging. Rindou thought it was fucking ridicuous. There’s no way he just turned 13 and now all of a sudden everything is appropriate. Especially when you were his best friend.
He was extremely possessive over you, liking the fact he was your only male friend, because he felt favourited. Like you personally handpicked him to be best friends with out of all billions of guys in the world. You also felt the same about him.
Rindou then realised why his mother told him a list of things he can’t do with you. Because you were also going through puberty aswell. He and his other friends had begun talking about suggestive topics, ones that shouldn’t even be in the minds of boys his age—but his one friend, Shion, had shown Rindou a porno magazine he stole from a store, and as they went through it, Rindou then realised exactly what his mother meant.
Because that same afternoon, when you had come to visit him, he shamefully found himself staring at more intimate personal areas of you, ones that not even a week ago, he wouldn’t even dare look at, or even care about.
Things became so awkward. For you, and for him. He couldn’t get you out of his mind, his young perverted mind practically objectifying you inside his mind every time he saw you, so he distanced himself from you. Barely spoke to you, barely came around to your place anymore. He hated the way whenever you tried to hold hands with him, he would instantly flinch as a reflex and retract his hand as if you had cooties, or when you’d hug him and he wouldn’t deepen it like he used to, instead patting your shoulder once before breaking the hug.
You were sad about the situation. A part of you had a feeling this was coming because the entire friendship, all those years back, you never thought someone as cool as Rindou would ever settle with someone like you.You thought it was only a matter of time before he distanced himself and hung around more ‘popular’ people or whatever.
You could only imagine the surprise on your first day in college, when you saw Rindou again for the first time in 5 years. He looks so much different, yet the same at the same time. He was stuffing things into his locker as you mustered up the confidence to approach him.
What were you going to say? It’s been five fucking years.
Five years before he abanonded you, left you without a single trace, not even an explanation. He just avoided you. Will he avoid you now? Is there even a point? Thoughts plagued your mind and before you even knew it, you turned on your heel and walked the opposite direction.
You were half way down the hallway before you realised your class was in the opposite direction. The direction you were currently avoiding because of a certain someone. You just hope and pray that on your way past, he doesn’t recognise you, or ends up ignoring you just like he’d been doing for the last 5 years.
It’s going well. Everything is going well. You think. Though your head is facing the ground, eyes are unsure what's ahead of you because you’re refusing to look up—he still recognises you.
“[Name]?”
You practically freeze but don’t stop walking, fingers on your bag strap tightening as you count your footsteps in your head to distract your brain from the realisation that he recognised you.
A hand tugs at your arm, and the numbers in your head come to a halt the moment Rindou stops you from walking. “Did you hear me?”
Yes. You did. But you lie.
“Oh, I didn’t hear you. Hey…” It takes all your energy, but you look up at him. It’s the first time in years that you looked him directly in the eyes. He looks different. Way different. But those eyes are still the same. Those beautiful eyes that you always stared into when you were younger. His face is more defined now, which is normal because he’s 17 years old. His arms are more muscular now, concrete evidence that he’s been working out because he used to have very thin arms. His hair is now infact, blue, a colour you’d imagined in your mind the second he told you on that bench years ago his favourite colour is blue.
Rindou doesn’t consider himself an awkward person. He always speaks his shit upfront, doesn’t really have anxiety either. He and his brother were confident individuals, which is normal for boys who happen to get as much attention as they do now.
Yet, he found himself struggling to speak to you. It’s been years since he’d gradually stopped contacting you, a mistake he regrets even to this day. He didn’t mean to—he just felt so bad for you. He didn’t want to ruin your great friendship because his hormones decided to betray him. Things had gotten so awkward the moment he started thinking of you that way, and he knew things wouldn’t be the same.
Also because—he realised he loved you. He realised it at 14 years old, when all his friends were getting girlfriends, the only person he saw himself with was you. He tried getting a girlfriend—her name was Shiko. She was pretty, nice, popular too. Everyone at his middle school shipped them, but things just didn’t feel right. He found himself thinking about you during the span of their 4 month relationship. He even called her your name once, to which she was offended, but forgave him rather instantly.
The moment he realised he loved you was the moment he knew he fucked up. Because you most definetly hate his guts now. He would hate you too if you had just stopped talking to him out of the blue with 0 explanation.
He barely saw you around town either. You two went to completely different schools so that was also off the list. He missed you.
But was too scared to see you again.
Rindou looks at you now, throat dried and tongue-tied, thinking of words to say. On one hand, he was happy to see you again, excited almost. You’d grown up so much. You still look the same as you did, only your features have gotten sharper—a common occurrence of puberty. He’d recognise you in a huge crowd without hesitation.
He keeps his eyes up, not wanting to make that same mistake he did when he was 13. He scans your face, trying to soak your features into his brain so he could replace that picture of 13 year old you inside his mind.
“Hey… how’ve you been?” Rindou wants to slap himself. This is so awkward.
“I’m good. Yeah.” You try not to focus on the fact he still hasn’t moved his hand from your arm yet. You try not to focus on the feeling of his hands burning through your jacket sleeves, melting his handprint onto your skin. It’s hard, but you try your best. “How are you?”
You don’t want to know.
Don’t want to know his life since he magically disapapeared from your life. Don’t want to hear about how much happier he is now that a loser like yourself wasn’t holding him back.
“I’m okay, yeah.”
“Nice.” You gently remove his hand from your arm and readjust your bag on your back. “Well, it was nice seeing you, but I got class now so—”
“Do you maybe want to hang out?” Rindou cuts you off, speaking without thinking the second he saw you about to leave. He wasn’t ready to see you go, not again. He doesn’t know another opportunity he would get to talk to you. Doesn’t even know where to find you after this. He’s not letting this chance go.
Please say yes. He repeats over and over in his head as he watches you look down at the ground, weighing the pro’s and cons.
On one hand, you get to hang out with Rindou again. Your best friend. On the other hand, he did betray you—abandon you for 5 years without a simple explanation. You were so lonely, you didn't even make any other friends because none of them were as amazing as him. He had set the bar way too high and you weren’t sure anybody else could reach it.
It was fear; it kept holding you back and you weren’t sure you needed anymore mental strain on your mind. “I can’t—I’m sorry Rindou.”
He didn’t even bother to hide the disappointment on his face. Just as soon as you start walking again, he stops you. “Wait, can we please just talk? This weekend? I can take you to the park? Y’know…like old times.” When he see you bite your lip—an action you did when you were nervous or was deep in thought—he decided he needed to step up his game more.
Using his grip on your arm, he moves his fingers downwards—it’s a very risky move, but he’s all about risks—and holds your hand. “Please?”
He knows—no, he hopes that his desperation is feeding into you, hopes that you can see how badly he wants you back in his life. The moment he held your hand, goosebumps erupted along your arm. It's a miracle you’re wearing a jacket right now, so you can’t embarrass yourself.
“Okay…we can talk after school.”
“Really?!” His face lights up, and you think it’s adorable.
“Yeah.” You quickly retract your hand from his own, stuffing it inside your pocket. “But I really have to go to class now, I don’t wanna be late.”
“Okay, I’ll meet you there, after school. Maybe 4? That good?” You nod and say no more, quickly rushing down the hall before you were late.
Rindou spends the next hour or so preparing what exactly he’s going to say to you. You just make him so nervous, he’s never nervous to talk to someone, yet alone a girl. The second school’s ended, he’s heading over to the park, the same park he refused to visit and avoided all these years because of the sheer amount of memories flooding his brain the second he looks at it.
Rindou must’ve taken longer to arrive because by the time he gets there, you’re already there, sitting at the top of the slide as you scroll on your phone. Just staring at you was enough to get his heart pumping twice as fast. He climbs the ladder up the slide and takes a seat next to you. The area was so confined, both of your legs were touching and it left your faces heating up. You couldn’t look him in the eye, just waited for him to start speaking.
“Can you look at me?” Rindou’s staring at the side of your face as you look down at your hands, fiddling with the ring on your index finger. You stiffen when he asks that question, taking a moment before you lift your face up to him. You knew you both were close, but it wasn’t until your nose almost brushed  against his the second you looked up that it hit you how close the two of you were.
“I’m listening.”
“I’m sorry—for what I did back then. It was stupid of me to just leave you, I don’t know what happened—” A lie. He fell in love with you, that’s what happened, “I was so dumb back then, and I regret everything, I hope you know that. If I could go back in time, I’d never have done it. I really hope you can forgive me [Name], it’s an outdated apology—years overdue, but I want to cherish the time we have right now and maybe…start over? If you want to of course, it’s truly up to you, your the—”
You begin laughing and Rindou has to stop talking because he isn’t sure whether to be angry that you’re laughing at him pouring his heart out to you in an apology, or whether he should be angry at himself, hating the way the sound of your laugh blesses his ears.
“What’s so funn--”
“You’re stupid, Rin.” He knows you don’t mean any harm by it, because you’re smiling. He’s too busy focusing on the fact you called him his old nickname ‘Rin’ that he doesn’t see you leaning in for a hug. In the heavily confined space, it’s a little bit hard to get comfortable and hug you better without his elbows digging into the metal poles.
Rindou swallows, hard, the moment he wraps his arms around your body. It wasn’t enough. Taking another risk, he lifts you from his side onto his lap. You look up at him, confused, but words die inside your throat the second he deepens the hug. It’s much better now, having more arm room to fully wrap his arms around you, embracing you in his warmth.
Any passerbys would probably be looking at the two of your weirdly, two kids hugging at the entrance of the slide, but none of you cared. You lifted your arms to wrap around his neck, resting your head just next to his neck, on his shoulders. He smelt amazing, so good that you found yourself closing your eyes, shifting closer to smell him better.
This is creepy, you thought, but it didnt stop you.
You aren’t sure how long you two hugged for; could’ve been 2 minutes, could’ve been 40 seconds. Time had stopped the entire length of the hug for the both of you.
“Ran’s turning 20 in two months,” Rindou mumbles against your temple, his lips tickling your skin, “Do you want to come to his party with me?”
“I—I don’t know… parties aren’t really my thing, Rin. There’s way too many people there and I—”
The nickname again.
“I’ll be there for you. I won’t leave your side the entire time.” He pulls away from the hug and you look up at him. “He’s gonna get alcohol, legally, since he’ll be of age, and it could be fun? You know, just both of us?”
“You won’t believe this—” You start, hiding behind a little laugh, “but I’ve never gotten drunk before.”
“What?” Rindou looks down at you, shocked. “No fuckin’ way—you serious?” He’s waiting for you to retract the statement but instead you shake your head.
“I mean it! For one, I could never buy alcohol, second, I dunno, I’m just scared.”
“Why are you scared?” He places his hands on the wooden surface behind him, leaning back to get a better look at your whole face. “Alcohol ain’t scary. Well—it’s bitter and strong, but nothing scary.”
“It’s not the drinking part that’s scary—It’s the fact that you’re not in control of your actions that’s scary.”
Rindou thinks back to all the stupid things he’s said and done all the times he was drunk and finds them more funny than scary. “The worst thing I did when I was drunk was get matching tattoos with Ran.”
“What?!” You shift on his lap to get a better look at him. “Tattoo? Where is it?” You lift his arm up, pulling up his sleeves and examine the length of his arm thoroughly for a better look for a tattoo. You also took the opportunity to get a better look at his build without coming off as creepy. His arm muscles tense under your grip and you have to bite your tongue.
“It’s not there—” He chuckles, removing his arm from your grip. You watch with confused, wide eyes as his hand comes up to the hem of his shirt. He takes a moment before slowly pulling the material up past his stomach. From the second he lifted it, thick black ink appeared and as he lifted his shirt higher, the ink just kept appearing and your eyes followed the lines until his hands came to a stop. “There’s more—but I don’t think it’s appropriate to show it in public.” He exhales shakily, the muscles on his stomach tensing up as he watches your eyes examine all over his chest
He’s never felt self conscious before, not underneath your gaze. Your hand reaches out for a moment but you quickly retract it and look up into his eyes. “Can I—”
He’s silent when he nods; watching your fingers gently graze the tattoo from the bottom. Your lips are slightly parted as you run your fingers upwards, slowly, not even realising how much tension you’re causing him because you’re too engrossed in the tattoo, so many questions fill your mind the longer you run your fingers along it.
“Di—did it hurt?” You say the moment you reach the top, just where his fingers holding his shirt up, preventing you from going further.
“I was drunk, so no. I can’t even remember it.”
“Woah.” You look back down at it once more before biting your lip, deep in thought. Rindou would kill to know what you were thinking about—wants to know if you felt that tension earlier, if you were doing it on purpose to see how he would react, or if you were just genuinely interested in his tattoo.
“It’s only on one side.” You point out, “is it like a puzzle or something?”
Rindou shakes his head. “Nah. Ran has the other half.”
“Woah.” You repeat, genuinely impressed at that work of art on his chest. Your mind wonders, if you and him and remained friends all those years—would you have gotten that same tattoo with him? How would it even work—?
“So—do you wanna come to his party with me? I promise, I won’t make you get matching tats with me if you get too drunk.”
You can’t help but smile. Fuck—you missed him so much, that you’re willing to head out of your comfort zone just to hang out with him more. “Yeah, I’ll go.”
During those two months prepartion for Ran’s birthday, you and Rindou used the party planning as an excuse to hang out with each other more often. He would walk you home after school, but since he was a year older, his classes ran on for an hour longer, meaning you’d wait outside his class for him. He’d take the train with you home, sometimes if you both were really bored, you’d walk the distance.
This was only just the start.
The start of your newfound friendship. The beginning of a new era. And god—were you excited.
His birthday finally rolled around and it was packed. It hit you just how many people loved Ran. His house is filled with random people you’ve never seen before, recognising a couple people, third years that go to your school.
You take an earbud out from your ear, leaving it to hang low as you manoeuvre your way through the house, trying to find Rindou. You were wearing a simple outfit—but you had unknowingly grabbed the necklace Rindou’s mother picked out for him to give to you on your twelfth birthday. All the Rindouless years passing by made you forget about the necklace and its importance. But the second Rindou saw it, memories came flooding back.
“You still have this?” Rindou points out about an hour after you had arrived, not knowing a proper way to bring it up. You turn to face him and the moment you do, he grabs the necklace, looping a finger around the simple chain.
The action causes you to stiffen. He doesn’t break eye contact, waiting for you to answer the question. It’s not until you realise silent you’re being that you remember he was talking to you. “Oh! Yeah, I mean—I never threw it out.”
“Word? How does it even fit? It’s been years, no?” He doesn’t remove his fingers and to make matters worse, a very drunk and hyper person pushes past you aggressively, causing Rindou to grab onto your waist to keep you in front of him, not ready to see you get washed away into the crowd of very horny, drunk teenagers.
The second you register his hand on your waist, your brain stops functioning. “It’s a pretty necklace—I didn’t want to throw it out.”
It’s not that pretty. The both of you know it. It’s just a simple silver chain. No jewel, no pendant, no diamonds.
 No, anything.
It’s only pretty and special to you, because the person who gave it to you was pretty and special to you. Rindou gives you a smile before a random girl taps onto his shoulder, whisking his attention away.
You can’t help but frown as you watch her whisper something into his ear. It’s awkward. It hit you how many girls actually like Rindou—and you can’t even blame them to be honest.
Look at him.
“Not today, I’m busy.” Rindou responds a moment after and the girl frowns for a moment before her eyes land on the birthday boy himself. She fixes the straps on her dress, and pushes her boobs up before fixing her face and heading straight towards him.
“I hate it when girls do that,” Rindou says after a moment and you take your eyes off her form to look at him with an intrigued brow.
“Do what?”
Rindou looks down at his drink and shakes his cup a little bit, watching the liquid swish around the walls of the cup. He lazily shrugs before continuing, “Thirsting over me and Ran. I mean—maybe he likes the attention, and I used to, but it’s getting annoying now. Like, I’m my own person, not just some sex object to satisfy you. Y’know?”
Rindou realises he’s ranting and instantly closes his mouth. “I mean, You probably get it, don’t you?”
“Get what?”
He wishes your innocence was just an act, one you used to attract guys towards you, but these two months he’s spent you made him realise you truly were slightly innocent when it came to these sorts of conversations. Makes him wonder if you haven’t lost it yet.
“The whole being used and stuff. Don’t you have guys after you?”
You shake your head. “Nope. I’ve never done that stuff before.” Rindou stops shaking his drink, fingers squeezing around the cup as he looks at you.
“You serious?”
“Yah.”
“Bu—but you—” You’re so hot , he thinks, but doesn’t say aloud. “Not even one guy wants you?”
“Jeez, when you say it like that, it makes me sound like a loner.” You say with a laugh at the end, but now you’re actually deeping the situation. You’re almost 19 and haven’t even had your first kiss yet. “Ohmygod, I’m going to die a virgin.” You say without thinking and Rindou watches you, confused, as you practically have a mental breakdown in your head.
“You good?”
“No! I mean, shit, I need to find a boyfriend, or at least lose my v-card before I turn 19, this is so embarassing, god—”
“I mean—I coul—” He instantly closes his mouth, realising just how stupid that idea was. He just rekindled his friendship with you, now he wants to ruin it all because of a stupid offer. “Nevermind. And it’s good that you’re a virgin, y’know—” He stops talking because you’re not listening to him, he can tell by the way you’re biting your lip, probably thinking of a bunch of boys in your class you could potentially lose it to.
He wishes you’d just open your eyes and look at him. He’s right there. But in your confused mind, you don’t think someone as hot and cool and Rindou could ever get with someone like you. Infact, just looking at that girl from earlier, it’s clear Rindou hooked up with girls like her before. All pretty and confident—things that you believed you weren’t.
So Rindou was off the hook. Not even a possibility.
“Dude, dude! RINDOU!” A loud deep voice startles you, and Rindou. Shion is practically out of breath when he places a hand on Rindou’s shoulder, using him practically as an armrest. “Ev—everybody’s downstairs—beer pong—” He says between breaths, then points a finger towards the door, “Go.”
“What?”
“I said—” Shion finally gets his breath back, now standing up tall. “Everybody playing beer pong downstairs and they called for you.”
“Beer pong?”
Rindou turns around to face you, completely ignoring Shion’s drunk ass. “Yeah, beer pong it’s basically—” You listen to him explain the rules of beer pong, the both of you completely ignoring Shion who keeps on tugging the back of Rindou’s shirt to get his attention.
“Fuck off, Shion. I’m talking.” Rindou punctuates his sentence by wrapping an arm around your shoulder, tugging you gently to his side. His voice gets a tad softer when he looks down at you. “Do you wanna play?”
“I don’t know…”
“Please? For me?”
You find it difficult to say no—but you do anyway. “I can just watch you and I’ll cheer you on.”
“Nah. I want you on my team.”
“Stop fucking flirting. Are you playing or not?!” Shion is starting to get annoyed, scoffing loudly before heading back towards the door he entered through. Rindou looks at you one more time, the question still lingering on his tongue before you finally give in and nod.
Rindou is smiling the entire way downstairs. By the time you get to the basement, you see a pool table along with around 15 people downstairs. The only people you recognise is Shion because of earlier. There’s two boys on the other end of the table, one with long black hair, one with crazy pink hair and scars.
“He’s here!” Sanzu quickly points to the other end of the table. You both are being dragged to the opposite end of the table, you being in front as Rindou stands behind you with his hands on your shoulders. You were so fucking nervous. The cups were already set up in a triangle, half filled with beer.
“Are you ready to lose?” Koko sticks his tongue out as he flips the coin, catching it on the back of his hand before covering it with his spare hand. “Heads or tails.”
Rindou squeezes your shoulders to get your attention before he whispers into your ear because the room was far too loud for him to speak at regular volume. “You choose.”
You turn around to look at him, ready to protest before someone is yelling ‘HURRY UP!’
“Tails?” You blurt out quickly, seeing Koko remove his palm from his hand. His face scrunches up in annoyance as he shows the coin facing tails.
“Yeah! Suck it, Kokonoi.” Rindou laughs from behind you before stretching along the table to grab the ball. “Throw it into a cup, just like I told you.” Your fingers brush together as you nod your head and take the ball from him. You toss the ball into a cup, only for it to bounce off the top and flop back onto the table.
You frown but quickly cheer up when you hear Rindou console you, telling you it’s common for that to happen. You notice Rindou never steps away from you to get a better shot, he stands behind you; his chest against your back the entire time, the close proximity is making you feel dizzy and lightheaded—and you haven’t even tried alcohol yet.
One hand on your shoulder as he makes his shot.
The game was more fun than you thought. Though you and Rindou lost because Sanzu was surprisingly amazing at aiming, you had drunk around 7 cups of beer, and you started to feel a bit lightheaded. You tug on Rindou’s sleeve to pull him down to your level to whisper into his ear. “I’m ffeel-feeling a bit dizzy.”
“For real? Damn, you a lightweight, huh?” You furrow your brows as he speaks even though you’re barely registering what he’s saying. “I’ll take you upstairs, c’mon.” Rindou holds onto your hand, giving it a tight squeeze to reassure you that he’s there.
It helps and you drown out the noise of his friends screaming at him to come back and play another round. You drown out the loud blast of music coming from the living room, drown out everything, only registering the lock on Rindou’s bedroom door locking the moment you enter inside.
“Sit down on my bed, there.” You obey, even though the ground looked like it was about to eat you whole, you crossed the distance and fell onto his bed, sinking your face in his black sheets.
You hear the sound of a fridge opening, looking over at Rindou who grabs a bottle of alcohol from his minifridge before coming to sit down next to you. “R-rrreally Rin? You’re drrinking more?”
“I’m not drunk yet,” He begins to pour it into a cup, “I’m a heavyweight, so I gotta drink loads before I get drunk.”
“Ohh,” It explains a lot, why he’s practically normal and functioning like a regular human being, unlike you, struggling to keep your eyes open but at the same time, feel a sort of tingling running down your legs that make you want to run around. It’s confusing.
“You wanna try some? You might like it, it’s better than that nasty beer.”
“Yyeah. That beer was really horrible,” You cross your legs and watch as Rindou passes you his cup. Sober you probably would’ve been a little too shy to drink from the same cup as Rindou—but you barely had time to overthink any scenarios. Gulping down the drink that in fact, tastes much better than that horrible beer.
“Oh my god.” You grab the bottle from Rindou and he watches you, amused, as you pour more of the wine into the red cup.
“Slow down [Name],” He tries to get you to drink slower, but you’re not listening, already gulping it down too fast.
You want to puke.
But you don’t stop drinking. It tasted…sweet? But also, really bitter? You didn’t know, all you knew was that your mouth loved it, and wanted more.
Rindou eventually could see that you were clearly drunk now, your tispy behaviour long gone now as you stare up at his ceiling and your fingers draw imaginary circles into the air.
It’s adorable.
You’re adorable.
It takes Rindou six more cups of that heavy wine before he’s joining you. The two of you are laughing at the ceiling. You aren’t sure what you’re looking at, but the room is spinning and you can’t stop laughing.
“Rinnn,” you stop laughing and sit up from the bed to turn and face him. He nods at you to continue talking. “Why did you leave me those years? Was it something I did?”
One thing you should know about drunk Rindou, is that he has no filter.
“Cause I was attracted to you; jerked off to you, and had thoughts about you.” He places his hands behind his head and looks back up at the ceiling. “So I felt guilty, and just avoided you.”
“That’s it?” You frown.
“Yeah—? Wait, why aren’t you mad? Aren’t you all about feminism and that shit, not wanting to be objectified or whatver? Abolish the patriarcy, sexism whatnot?”
“I mean, I am. Fuck the patriarcy, but still. I don’t care that you did that to me.” You shift to lay down on the bed, propping yourself up on one elbow before turning to face Rindou. “Besides…I also thought about you like that.”
The world stops for Rindou at approximately 10:23PM on a Friday.
“What?” He turns to face you, both of you don’t care about the close proximity, your nose brushing together as you both subtly lean in closer. “You did?”
“Yeah…only a couple times.”
“What exactly….” Rindou shifts closer to you, using one hand to lift your leg up to rest on his own, “did you think about?”
You break the eye contact only for him to drag your face back to his eyes. “Answer me.”
“I—” You swallow. Even though your mind is hazy right now—both of your minds are—you still feel the long forgotten anxiety come back the moment he asked you this. “I can’t remember.”
“When was the last time you fucked yourself thinking of me?” He’s so close. The hairs on the back of your neck stand up when you feel his lips brush against your neck. He’s not kissing you, no—he’s just waiting for the right moment. The second he hears you exhale shakily, he presses a kiss on your skin, slowly moving upwards to your jawline. “Answer me.”
“Last week—”
“Hmm.” Rindou hums against your skin, dragging his hands down your body to rest against your waist. “And you forgot, already?”
“Yeah…?” Your voice trails off into the moan the second he bites down against your skin. Your hands fly to his hair to keep him in place, subconsciously pressing him closer to your skin. “Fuck—that feels so nice.”
You moan again when he hums, the sound vibrating against your skin. You aren’t sure what came over you, but you’re pushing him onto the bed and climbing over his to straddle him. His hands instantly fly to your hips, keeping you atop his own as you lean down to kiss him.
He meets you halfway, letting go of one of your hips to cradle the back of your head, but also to ensure you’re not going anywhere. He tastes a bit like a mixture of beer and that strong wine, but you don’t care. All form of sense overridden from the sheer fact alone that you’re straddling your bestfriend/crush while his tongue is currently down your throat.
You’re not sure where to put your hands, having his drunken kiss be your first, so you rest them aside his head, gripping onto the sheets of the pillow beside him. There’s a tingly feeling down there, that only grows stronger when you move your hips front to back, practically grinding against Rindou’s crotch.
The second your clothed cunt grazes his cock, he’s gripping you in place, moving you along his length at his own pace. His iron grip rocking you back and forth prevents your movements, and you slowly lose control of your own pleasure, but it gets amplified the second Rindou breaks away from the kiss.
“Take off your shirt.”
You nod, sitting back up straight and remove your shirt from over your head. Rindou’s mouth goes slack, slightly agape as he looks at his bestfriend in just her bra. It feels sinful and dirty, seeing you this way, a way he’s imagined for so long and never thought he’d experience the real deal.
“You’re so beautiful—” Rindou doesn’t waste any time, sitting up abruptly as he sucks more lovebites onto your neck. You throw your head back, allowing him more room and perfect access to your body. The feeling of his soft lips making their way from your collarbone—down to your chest makes you squirm.
“W-wait—” You call out and he pulls away to look up at you, confused to see if he’d crossed any boundaries. You reach behind yourself to unfasten your bra and he groans when he sees you naked, topless atop of him, for the first time.
“Goddamn,” His lips are back onto yours, kissing you passionately and professionally. You wind your fingers into his long hair whilst he grips onto your right breast, kneading it in his big palms—tilting his head to readjust the positioning of the kiss.
You arch your back into his touch; also deepening the kiss. Rindou lets go of your breast and quickly flips your positions. The next thing you know, you’re underneath him, squirming under his heavy gaze. He rakes his eyes from your pretty face, down to your bare chest, all the while licking his lips—his brain thinking of 1001 ways to devour you.
He leans down to your chest, pressing soft kisses against your areola to tease you. The feeling of his nose brushing against your nipple had you biting back a moan. The air around it was so cold, you needed his warm mouth to fill it. “Rin…c’mon—please?” You breathlessly beg, eyes rolling back when he listens to your request, sucking a nipple into his mouth.
The sheer warmth had you arching your back upwards, forcing him to take more into his mouth, and gripping onto his thick hair strands. The sensation is amplified, tenfold, the moment  he flicks his tongue against your nipple, rubs slow circles with the tip of his tongue before pulling off, making sure his lips stay attached to your nipple until he’s pulled off far enough.
He repeats this with the other one; all the while tugging at the waistbands of your pants. You gently push him off you, raising your hips slightly so he can shimmy your pants down your legs. Tossing them somewhere on the ground, he lifts his own shirt up and over his head, and it’s then you finally get to see the full tattoo.
Rindou’s eyes widen when he looks back down and realises he accidentally shed your panties too along with your pants. He’s staring down at you bare and naked, and you’re about to close your legs from humiliation but he stops you—using both hands to spread you apart.
He mutters something underneath his breath, using two fingers to push your folds apart. The wet squelch made his cock literally jump in his underwear. “You’re so—so…wet.” Before you could even tell him to stop looking, he dives in, using his tongue to lick and suck at the slick coating your folds before sucking your clit into his mouth eagerly.
“God—fffuck—” Your voice was shaky as you gripped onto his hair, literally pulling the strands the longer you felt his tongue flick your clit at top speed. Rindou hums into your cunt, licking you up from top to bottom before tickling his tongue at your hole. It was hard to squeeze through, but he managed it well. The moment his tongue slid in, he grunts, hard, when you tug at his hair, uncontrollable moans leaving your mouth as he fucks you with his tongue.
“Rin—Rindou, I’m, I—fuck, gonna cum—I’m gonna—!” Rindou digs his nails deeper into your thighs, leaving crescent shaped marks on your skin as proof he was the first one between your legs. Your back arches as your muscles convulse and contract, practically drowning him between your legs as you cum.
Rindou retracts his tongue from your pussy and cleans you up, licking your folds a couple more times before shifting to your thighs, giving you a couple lovebites to further reinforce his presence before kissing his way up your perfect naked body, reaching the top as he kisses you sloppily. Your hands tangle themselves in his hair again, pulling him even closer to you.
After a couple more minutes of kissing, your hand trails downwards, tugging at the waistband of his pants. “Please, let me…”
“No. I can’t—” Rindou tugs your hand away from his pants. It’s different when he’s giving to you, not taking from you. He can’t explain it. Even in his drunk, hazy mind, he knows it won’t be right to let you touch him like that, no matter how hard you beg.
“B-but I want to.” You sit up, pulling him back next to you. You lean down, giving him another kiss to distract him. He’s quickly melting into the kiss, cradling the back of your head to feel you more. You slide your hands down his body, into his pants and start to rub against his cock.
Rindou actually groans into the kiss, breaking it to curse under his breath when he feels you play with his tip, rubbing circles along the slit. “Shit, [Name], keep going.” He leans back against the pillow and removes the stray hairs from your face as he watches your hand through his pants jerk him off, slowly.
You frankly, didn’t know what you were doing.
The two of you knew this was wrong. Not only are you bestfriends, but you aren’t supposed to be this way when you’re both not in the right state of mind.
You both knew but it didn’t stop you both.
You flop back down next to Rindou after making him cum. Your wrist aches, but it’s all worth it when Rindou snuggles up next to you, wrapping you tight in his grip and gives your bare shoulder soft kisses.
You weren’t sure what was going to happen next. A part of you wants to remember this moment forever, but when you wake up, you know last night would’ve been just a blur.

Robot story #2.
Pairing: Rindou Haitani x fem! Y/N reader.
TW: mentions of parties, persistent rindou.
Contents: hopeless romantic Rindou, Rindou is implied to be a dumb shit in the name of love, persistent Rindou (in a good way) rejection but later exception, and a kiss. Fluff as always.
A/N: Hey yall. Once again couldn't sleep so I forced a robot to tell me a story once again. I didn't write this, a robot did. If you don't like then simply do not read. If I forgot to tag something as a trigger then please tell me.
-------------------------------------------------------
In the bustling streets of Tokyo, Rindou was a member of a notorious motorcycle gang known as tenjiku. Despite his rough exterior, he had always been a hopeless romantic at heart. He had his sights set on a girl named Y/N, who he had met through a mutual friend.
Rindou believed that impressing Y/N would be a piece of cake. He thought that his motorcycle and his gang affiliation would make him seem cool and irresistible in her eyes. He took her out for rides on his motorcycle and showed off his gang's tattoos and colors, but to his dismay, Y/N didn't seem impressed at all.
Undeterred, Rindou decided to up the ante. He began taking Y/N to wild parties and showing off his daredevil riding skills, but she still seemed unimpressed. One night, Rindou was feeling particularly bold and decided to confess his feelings to Y/N, but to his disappointment, she rejected him, saying that she didn't like his tough-guy attitude and wanted someone who was more sensitive and caring.
Determined to win her over, Rindou decided to change his ways. He started dressing differently, stopped hanging out with his gang, and began bringing Y/N flowers every day. At first, she was annoyed by his persistent attempts to win her heart, but eventually, she began to see the sincerity and kindness beneath his rough exterior.
Finally, one day, Y/N agreed to go on a date with Rindou. He took her to a quiet park and confessed his love to her once more, promising to always be there for her and to be the kind of man she deserved. This time, Y/N was moved by his heartfelt words, and they shared a sweet kiss under the starry night sky.
From that day on, Rindou and Y/N were inseparable. He had learned that true love wasn't about impressing someone with flashy things or tough-guy acts, but about being honest, vulnerable, and caring. They rode off into the sunset on his motorcycle, both of them knowing that their love was built on a foundation of trust and true understanding.

Haitani Rindou is on his last strand of patience. He’s ready to break some bones, maybe pull out his gun and shoot, or even strangle a man with his bare hands.
Due to his line of work, he doesn’t quite remember how long since he’s been triggered like this, but he’s absolutely certain he hates this feeling.
Ironically, Bonten is the reason why.
More specifically, Sanzu Haruchiyo and Akashi Takeomi.
Had Sanzu’s men been competent enough, this mission wouldn’t have involved the intervention of the executives. And if Takeomi had kept his mouth shut, you of all people wouldn’t have to resort to what you’re doing now.
It’s not that you’re bad at your job, on the contrary, you’re actually one of the best assassins in Bonten. It’s just that this mission doesn’t require your skills in assassination. It requires something else, something none of the other executives are good at.
This mission needs your expertise on the very reason you’ve made it to the top of the organization: honey trapping.
Now, Rindou is well aware of your capabilities, and he has never underestimated you since day one. But this is the first time you’re honey trapping since you’ve gotten together, and so naturally, even if this is Sano Manjiro’s order, he’s still utterly furious.
Haitani Rindou does not like sharing, more so if it’s you he’s supposed to share.
And so he grits his teeth and clenches his fists as he watches you seduce a bachelor whose looks are —and he hates to admit this— slightly above average.
He isn’t even supposed to be here because everyone knows he’d wreak havoc for you, but since Kakucho has taken it upon himself to accompany him and to make sure he doesn’t compromise such an important mission, Rindou was allowed to be within the vicinity of the target’s location.
Haitani Ran would’ve come with and for Rindou but even the latter knows that Ran will slip some teasing remarks here and there, and needless to say, that’ll be dangerous because Rindou is undoubtedly volatile right now.
“Stand down, Rindou,” Kakucho calmly says upon observing his tense posture.
Rindou sends a deadly glare at Kakucho. And if Kakucho hadn’t grown up and sided with other brutes in his lifetime, he would’ve cowered under his stare.
“This is an im—”
“Important mission, yeah, yeah. I’ve heard enough yapping from Koko about this mission. It’s just…” Rindou sighs. “Nevermind.”
Kakucho observes him for a few seconds before drinking his whiskey. He decides it’s better not to pry for now.
Both executives watch as the target offers his hand to help you stand up. When you reach for his hand, Rindou feels his blood boiling. And when the target kisses the back of your hand and winks at you, Rindou instinctively reaches for his gun. But Kakucho puts a firm grip on his arm before he can even do anything.
The target then leads you away, most probably to his private quarters, and Rindou almost shoots up immediately, but once again, he’s stopped by Kakucho.
In a hushed tone, Rindou harshly says, “What are you fucking doing?! Let me go! We have to follow them!”
“No. This isn’t our job. We only came here to observe. Let her do her job,” Kakucho says with finality.
Truth be told, Rindou wants nothing more to punch Kakucho right now, but with the vice grip Kakucho has on him and the warning look he gave, Rindou knows he should just oblige.
Thus, he bites his tongue, and sits back on his seat in order to prevent getting into an altercation with his superior.
“You know the plan, right?” Kakucho asks, to which Rindou only rolls his eyes.
Of course he knows. He has to, especially when it involves you.
“We wait for two hours, and if she still hasn’t come back, we follow her.”
Now, Rindou hasn’t tried to bargain with the other executives for this particular plan, but… this is Kakucho, and he just might be the one with the highest empathy in the whole gang, so he thinks, maybe it’s worth a shot.
“30 minutes,” Rindou amends.
“No.”
“Fine,” Rindou huffs. “An hour.”
“This is not up for debate, Haitani.”
It irks him that he couldn’t get his way now, because on the rare days that he does get paired up with Kakucho on missions, Kakucho usually allowed him to do whatever he wanted as long as the mission was a success.
That isn’t the case for now it seems.
He hears a sigh escape from Kakucho’s lips.
And Rindou thinks, or maybe it is.
“An hour and a half,” Kakucho says.
And who is Haitani Rindou to complain more when he’s graciously given what he’s wanted, even if the time is still too long for his taste. With that, he nods his head and tries his best to keep himself as calm as possible.
However, the waiting game is torturous for him, to say the least. As much as he tries to keep himself composed, his attempts were futile. Every minute or so, he glances at his watch, watching as the hands of the clock tick by for what he deems to be slower than usual.
He’s far too lost in this routine that he fails to notice Kakucho’s annoyance for his restlessness. You are going to be Rindou’s downfall someday, Kakucho thinks. He’s just far too distracted with worrying about you that if an enemy gang were to come at the moment and attack them, he’d be the first to be disposed of.
And just when Kakucho’s about to berate him for being unfocused out in the open, they hear the clicking of heels on the tiled floors.
They simultaneously look up to find you typing on your phone before slipping it in your bag with a satisfied smirk.
Rindou is the first to rise from his seat. However, that’s only where his reflexes take him; he finds himself unable to speak or move any further. And he doesn’t really understand why.
All he’s aware of is how the thought of you being with another man burns his throat and prickles his skin. It’s uncomfortable and painful.
And just as you close in on him for a hug and a kiss like you always do when you meet up, he takes a small step back. His eyes widened at his own traitorous body for doing something he certainly didn’t plan on doing. And he curses his own tongue for not being able to tell you he doesn’t mean to do that.
But with one look at you, he knows you know what’s going on in his mind. Sometimes he wonders how you do that, and every time you’d chuckle at him and say, “Maybe we’re soulmates, Rin.”
He watches your eyes twinkle with understanding, and with a subtle nod to him, you continue to close the gap between the two of you. But you stop before your skin could touch his, and you lean carefully towards his side, mouth close enough to his ear as you whisper in your gentlest, softest tone, “I love you, Rin. Only you.”
And he gapes, because even if he isn’t aware of what he wants to hear from you, apparently you know. And right now, that’s exactly what he wants– no, needs to hear.
As you pull away, words are still stuck in his throat.  It doesn’t even register in his mind that he gives you a weak nod at your proclamation. And it flies over his head that he is in fact gawking even as you start to converse with Kakucho. He has half a mind to pay attention to what you’re talking about. He’s in a trance now that you’re finally in front of him again, and he takes his sweet time checking you out – something he wasn’t able to do earlier because of his jumbled mess of thoughts.
Fortunately he catches himself before his breath could hitch when you looked at him mid-sentence and gave him a smile. Butterflies swarm his stomach and once again he’s reminded of how much he’s fallen for your charms.
However, even in his love struck state, the mission you have just completed still makes him a bit iffy, for lack of a better term. And although he itches to touch you and keep you close, he unconsciously distances himself to you – it’s evident in the way he walks behind you instead of walking beside you like he always did, as well as how he rides shotgun instead of sitting on the back passenger seat with you as Kakucho drives.
He’s been quite absentminded because of the mission. He only comes to register the tension in the air when Kakucho clears his throat when your group is nearing the Bonten headquarters. More so, he isn’t even aware that he’s frowning until Sanzu Haruchiyo points it out when he enters Mikey’s office without you in tow.
“Trouble in paradise, Lover boy?” Sanzu taunts.
Rindou rolls his eyes at him. “Shut up.”
Sanzu laughs, and Rindou looks around the other Executives gathered in the room for a meeting. Ran catches his eye with his raised brow, “You okay?” his eyes seem to tell him. Rindou sighs and just nods his head. But this bubble between the brothers breaks when Sanzu speaks up once again. “Aw, poor Rindou with his pissy mood,” he mocks.
Rindou would just let this slide, too annoyed to even retort back. But papers are suddenly slammed on the table, a seat being pulled between him and Sanzu, and a voice speaks up for him. “I don’t appreciate you talking to my boyfriend like that, especially when you’re the reason this mission is even given to us,” you say.
Sanzu glares at you for your comment, but this only eggs you on.
“It’s not even a hard mission, I don’t get why your men couldn’t handle it on their own.”
“Not everyone whores themselves out for information, Honey.”
You’re unimpressed with Sanzu’s response, opting to pick on your nails instead of looking him in the eye. “Say whatever you want, but we all know that in this room I have the highest body count, irregardless of which type.”
“What a slut,” Sanzu mumbles under his breath as he eyes the papers you slammed on the table.
Despite the hushed tone he used, you’re still able to hear his remark. “I mean, I really don’t want to hear you talk about that when you yourself couldn’t even keep it in your pants.”
Try as the other executives might, they could not hold back their snickers.
“I’m a loyal man,” Sanzu proclaims.
“Yeah, except when you’re high, right?” The words slip out of your mouth automatically. Rindou winces, and Sanzu falters. “Poor Angel with his unfaithful husband.”
The air turns cold and the room becomes silent.
No one who has ever talked like that about Sanzu’s wife has lived another day, Sanzu made sure of it. In that regard, you, Rindou, and Sanzu are quite the same, willingly doing anything for their beloved.
And so in a matter of seconds, Rindou is alarmed when both you and Sanzu stand up. Sanzu points a gun at you, while you’re holding a knife to his throat.
The Executives watch in tense silence as this unfolds, each one getting ready to move in case things escalate further.
“Tch, bringing a knife to a gunfight. How pathetic,” Sanzu spits.
“You’d be surprised with how many times I’ve won with this knife even at gunpoint.”
Ah. There it is, Rindou thinks. ‘It’ being the real reason for Rindou's issues with the mission, beyond petty jealousy and troublesome insecurities.
Once upon a time Haitani Rindou did not act this way with you, even after getting into a relationship with you. He knew of your way of doing things, honey trapping included, and he respects that. However, falling in love comes with icky, pesky feelings, and that means being worried for your wellbeing.
It’s one thing that you’re an Executive at Bonten — since the name of the criminal organization itself strikes fear to many, hence giving you protection— but it’s also an entirely different thing when this information is limited only to the top members of the said organization. Honey trapping, after all, is a practice that requires anonymity and a sense of mysteriousness, thus certain ties must be concealed.
So in a sea of crime and illegal activities, without a name for your own and without your name being tied to Bonten or any organization for that matter, you’re the most vulnerable.
And after seeing you held at gunpoint and becoming a bargaining chip for an enemy organization after failing a mission that was assigned to you and the rest of the executives, he dreads to keep you out of sight. This is the reason why he’s been asking for more missions with you. He just wants to ascertain your safety.
He curses himself when he realizes that he’s not exactly ensuring your safety at this very moment.
Just as this thought comes to him though, Sanzu shifts his gun so that it’s right in front of your lips. “You know, shooting someone through the mouth is a sure way of killing a person because the bullet directly leads to the brainstem.”
“Oh, I know. It’s an instant death,” you sing as you push your knife a little harder to his throat, “And I know you know that slashing through this area right here would directly damage your carotid. You’d bleed to death. Not right away, of course, but it’s still painful as fuck. And we all know who has the lowest tolerance for pain here.”
Rindou hesitates to move for a moment when he notices the bloodlust in yours and Sanzu’s eyes. If anything, he doesn’t even know how to stop a fight, because Haitani Rindou grew up being a provocateur, an instigator, therefore he’s figuratively and literally unequipped to handle this.
“Did she lie, Sanzu?” A voice cuts the eerie atmosphere.
Sano Manjiro.
Although Rindou doesn’t appreciate him assigning you this mission in the first place, he still thanks his boss for butting in at this moment.
Sanzu Haruchiyo clenches his jaw, however, even at Mikey’s interjection, he doesn’t falter – still aiming his gun at you. And just like him, you don’t lower your knife either.
“I asked a question, I expect an answer.”
Sanzu squints but says, “No, boss.”
“Then why are you pointing a gun at her?”
And just like that Sanzu lowers his gun. “Sorry, boss,” he whispers.
Mikey only nods at him before he focuses on you with a glare, seeing as you haven’t lowered your weapon yet.
You grip the handle of your weapon tighter, and Rindou could only silently wish you won’t do anything foolish. Fortunately, you sheath the weapon after half a minute of silence.
Mikey raises a brow but hums in approval anyway. And just like that, the meeting proceeds without any more hitches.
When Mikey dismisses everyone, you’re quick to lean into Rindou, meekly asking to meet up and talk in the privacy of your office.
Rindou nods robotically with his heart stammering across his chest. He’s a little bit nervous, even when there’s no reason to be. He’s not entirely sure why he’s dreading a conversation with you, but still, he’s grateful that for him you’d always lower your pride. It says a lot about your feelings for him, because you’ve always been the stubborn type – sometimes even with Mikey, although the man lets you get away with it most of the time considering your worth to the organization.
It’s flattering the way you’re never stubborn with him, however, he’s certain that in this life, stubbornness is a trait that could cost you your life.
And in this line of work, he’s become familiar with blood and death, to kill or be killed, and truth be told, it used to not faze him at all. But with you in the equation, suddenly the idea of you dying or seeing you bloodied brings forth a new kind of fear in him – a feeling he’s long forgotten.
And so in his mind, he apologizes to you.
Sorry for caring too much.
Sorry for loving you excessively.
Sorry for being this way.
But actual words refuse to leave his mouth.
With the doors to your office closed shut, and his eyes wide open for yours to read, you understand. You know what he’s trying to say, and you know that he’s done nothing wrong to merit the unsaid apologies. This is on you.
“I’m sorry, Rin,” you whisper. “This isn’t about you being jealous anymore, right?”
Rindou keeps his mouth shut. He doesn’t want to confirm or deny it, although he knows you know that anyway.
“I’ve been tempting death too much, haven’t I?”
He looks away. “Yes, you have.”
“And it scares you?” You ask.
It’s a dumb question, he thinks, but he answers, “And it scares me.”
You feel a sudden rush in your system. Because in that admission, you realize that there are many ways to tell someone you love them. The most generic way is an “I love you” but for today, it’s Rindou saying he’s scared to lose you.
You take a step closer to him. You watch as he gulps, but remains rooted in place, so you take another step. And another. And another. Until you’re able to press your forehead against his. “I’m sorry. I’ll be more careful next time.”
He sighs in relief and holds you in his arms – something he’s been wanting to do since you came back to him.
“I’ll always come home to you, Rin. I promise.”
There are many ways to tell someone you love them. The most generic way is an “I love you” but for today, it’s Rindou saying he’s scared to lose you. And in this moment, it’s you promising him that you’ll always find a way back to him.

ugh, feelings.
rindou x reader (no prns) • 0.4k
romantic; fluff
[ bla bla bla confession scene , giggling rin>>> ]
tokyo revenger masterlist | main masterlist

you totally don't have a crush on rindou.
is what you told yourself. and for a while, it was convincing. as if you confusing platonic and romantic attraction makes it any better. until you catch yourself smiling at a mere interaction and your heart is threatening to jump out of your chest every time you're lost in one of your daydreams─ ah yes. friends definitely do picture what it's like to go on dates and look at the other with too much love that you'd drown.
you think with you and him getting busy with own lives, the feelings would eventually fade. it didn't, obviously.
or else you wouldn't find yourself bending over with shaky shoulders and a hand to your stomach, rindou standing stiff before you with pursed lips. wiping the tears off the corner of your eyes, you chuckle. "what the fuck, rin?" and rindou is pissed. of course, he would. who else would laugh when someone confesses to them? a bastard like you obviously.
but he has no heart to be mad at you for long. he simply can't.
"what's so funny about it?," he grumbles.
"i mean─," you stand properly now, "─this is the first time i'm in so much love with someone that it's making me go insane and they like me back?" and there's a hint of amusement in your voice. given normal situations, he would roll his eyes but he's too stunned to even process the information.
too slow that it barely registers in his mind that his hand has a mind on its own as they're now cupping your cheeks and your laughter had instantly died down. your eyes soften as you give him a small smile.
ah. why did he notice it only just now? there's no way you don't like him back. not when you look at him like that. like you would burn the entire world and build it back up just for him. and oh, trust me, you definitely would.
he finally registers it when you're already too close, and the next moment he blinks, your lips are already moving against his as your hand slides to the back of his neck to play with the ends of his hair. giggles erupt from his throat, so uncool of rindou but there's so much joy bubbling in his chest right now that it's hard to breathe. and the sound of it makes you let out your own amidst all the kisses.
"i love you." you whisper against his lips, smiling giddily when he steals a peck from you. "how convenient."
you totally have a crush on rindou.

After having them cradle you in a tight embrace, you decided it was best to go home and spend some time alone, and by alone, they knew it meant getting your life back on track and back to your father, who literally had come all the way from Sparta to Athens just looking for you and getting desperate when he saw that not even the priestesses of the temple of Artemis knew where you were or had gone.
Luckily, even with a bit of bad luck, you bumped into him when you got home still wearing the dress given to you on Olympus and smelling of medicinal herbs, which was evident to him as soon as he ran towards you and took you in a tight hug that made you both remember the guilt of not having shared anything with him, neither about the two gods nor about your recent death, and feel more alive than ever.
— For the love of Zeus! Where have you been?! I've been chasing you from town to town, province to province, temple to temple, ‘n nobody could tell me! Nobody! — He gasped, hugging you tighter and feeling the tears flood his eyes. — I thought– I don't even want to say! Don't even say what I thought, Y/N! — His hands reached for your face and you tried to open an embarrassed smile. — Where have you been? Say it!
— Oh, I... — You swallowed hard and tried to formulate an excuse; there wasn't time for you to come up with one after being carried away to Aphrodite's temple. — I've b-been pretty busy with... well, y'know, Artemis, tributes, this thing we– — You brought the wrist marked by Aphrodite close to your face in an attempt to scratch your chin nervously, and your father promptly took it and analyzed the mark. — Dad, this is–
— A mark of Aphrodite... Aphrodite's, but–
— Listen! - You interrupted him, trying to control your breathing. — I'll tell you everything, ‘kay? Everything, just... please, gimme some minutes, my past days were... — A sigh escaped your lips. — Hard. So hard. Can we go in? — You nodded toward the door of the house and he let you out reluctantly before going to open that doorway and, on the same table near where you had eaten cheese with Athena, leaving the small bag with the little bit of currency that had been left over from the huge trip to the mortal city-states. — Thanks.
A deep breath escaped your throat and you tried to relax a little as you walked to the kitchen counter under your father's anxious, watchful eye and picked up the board on which there was still fruit and a loaf of bread untouched; your father hadn't been able to eat during that time you had been away and your heart wracked at that fact. If you had suffered, he had done the same.
— Promise you'll let me tell you everything, without interrupting? — You asked, sitting face to face with him around the table and picking up a grape, and watching him nod, your fingers sent the small fruit into your mouth. — Okay. Anyway, let's start... from when I first met them.
—"Them"?
— I said without interrupting!
You sighed, eating more grapes and organizing the events in chronological order. The next time you opened the mouth, the explain began, starting from, on one of the days you went bathing in the river near the same house where you were now, Eros was being chased by Apollo and that, from swimming, the first one conected you and connected with the last one with different arrows and that most of the time in the last months and weeks that you went to Olympus, it was to see at least one of them — and here you didn't hesitate to apologize for not talking earlier, since your dad thought you were going there to see Artemis. Soon after, it was explained that Eros had done this because he wanted to somehow get revenge on the sun god for a now dead mortal and that in the middle of all this, Artemis wanted you dead and you preferred to say that it was because of a secret contract between you and her made from the moment you became a devotee of her.
— Anyway. These days I've been busy dealing with the problem of Artemis wanting me dead, but, as you can see, dad, I'm alive, here, in the flesh, in front of you! — You said, taking a piece of bread and eating it before gesturing to your own body.
Your father looked at you for a few seconds and you returned his gaze, but as the slow time passed, you had the impression that he was trying to pierce your soul. It was the same look he had worn several times when you were younger and had done something wrong and he knew you had, but didn't want to force you to talk without being comfortable enough.
— And what else are you hiding, hm?
Unlike when you were younger, he got right to the point this time, and it made you swallow.
— Hiding, you say? — You drum your fingers. — I kind of... maybe, just maybe, it's a possibility, ‘kay? I'm not saying it happened, but maybe I did... die...? — You spoke defensively and he immediately stood up and spread hands on the table with a loud thud that almost made the food board go up and down. — Listen! It was a misunderstanding! Between Apollo and Artemis, but–
— But?! Y/N, listen to what came out of your mouth!
— You said you wouldn't interrupt me! — You returned angrily and he crossed his arms, as if he wanted to keep a barrier between you two so his daughter wouldn't keep talking. — Lemme finish, okay? I did die, for a few minutes, but with the help of Hecate ‘n Aesculapius ‘n a little help from Aphrodite. — Your hands gestured to your body. — Here I am, even better than before! No need to get mad, it's okay, dad. ‘M here! — This time, you gestured your fingers toward him, calling him for a hug. — Aren't you going to hug your darling daughter?
He looked at you as if he was still annoyed, but your hands calling him again made the armor slowly fall away and soon a comforting hug was remade between you and a sincere smile was exchanged before you ate some more. Soon after, he announced that he still needed to finish doing some things with The Muses and you ended up alone at home without any kind of desire to go out into the Parnassus or even get something to cook or read.
Reading.
Your eyes fell on Haruchiyo's love letters on the small table that accumulated some of the gifts you ended up accepting and allowing to exist in your room from the moment Rindou used the last arrow on you.
A sigh of defeat came from your lips followed by a grunt. The magical problems were gone, but the personal and love ones were still as alive as you and no one could take care of them if not the person who was in the center of the triangle.
Honestly, your body was begging you to sleep, and not even the anxiety of deciding something about your own life could stop you from doing that at the moment. As soon as your body fell into bed and your eyes closed and your mind gradually relaxed, Hypnos and Morpheus took over.
They took over so much that you literally didn't wake up until the next day, or rather: the next night and your father was busy finishing a soup as soon as you woke up rubbing eyes not even knowing where you were, but thinking that you had somehow woken up again with the throat torn open on one of the Kokonoi stretchers.
— Did you sleep well? — Your ears caught him speaking, but brain took a while to understand.
— Hm? Mhm, well. — You whispered before yawning and looking around, realizing that you hadn't moved out of your house or the comfortable bed.
— I made you some food, since you've practically slept for two days. — He spoke, picking up a deep bowl, using a spoon to scoop up large amounts of the food and put it in there before walking toward you and handing it to you along with a small spoon.
A nod of the head was thanks enough for your father, considering that you were still drunk from sleep and your body only really woke up after eating and stretching. And the first thing your attention fell on after returning the bowl to your dad's hands were, again, Haruchiyo's letters, and a small "Damn!" lit up your irritated mind as various thoughts raced through it, from the fact that you needed to choose someone to the fact that you didn't know how you would handle the other's sadness.
Looking through them again, you had another idea and went to get a rather long piece of papyrus and something to write on before you sat down facing the same small table where you had read the most striking letter from Apollo, the one about dawns. And then you simply began to calmly write down everything that had happened, including the faults and qualities of each of them, which didn't help much, since the two of them were two different sides of a coin:
If Haruchiyo was kinder and more cautious, Rindou was generally unsympathetic and impulsive, but in return, absolutely everything had only happened through his, the son of Aphrodite, hands; from the bad to the good. It was he who had first connected you with Apollo just as it was he who went after the obituary coins and Medusa's head; Rindou would break, but would fix — when he felt willing enough, but still: he would fix. However, he was also the one who broke your heart and poisoned your soul first with lead, and perhaps this deserved neither forgiveness nor a blind eye.
You sighed heavily, stopping writing for a few seconds with the head aching with the veins around your forehead and your psychology pulsing. It should be easier to choose between the two of them and the answer seemed to be extremely clearer before you died, when exactly did you start looking at Eros with different eyes? After you went to his bedroom after talking to Hecate in the Underworld? Or after talking to his mother in the Temple? Or after he showed up at your house carrying that hideous gorgon thing?
— My fucking... — You started to squirm and when you saw over your shoulder your father approaching you trying to see what was being written on that papyrus, you immediately covered everything with your hands. — F-Father! Stop! I-It's... personal, please, don't wanna anyone reading this. — Your frown creased and you didn't even realize that you had a pout on the lips.
And he, on the other hand, stepped back with hands up as if to say that it was okay, that he wasn't going to read it, you could relax.
— Thank you, thank you very much! — You concluded and looked at the papyrus again, feeling pathetic for needing something so childish as writing down what you feel to be able to decode everything.
It would be easier to just give up on understanding, just push the situation under the rug and pretend you could focus on anything other than the two of them, but sooner or later one of them would pull it out from under you and, like it or not, push you against the wall to make you take a decision. And this eventual possibility didn't help you, on the contrary: made you alarmed and restless, anxious sitting against the chair at home.
For the first, only and last time you felt like a goddess, and the feeling of having to decide something that didn't affect only you was not good while knowing that the reins of the situation were in your hands made you ironically happy, satisfied. If one of them had to settle everything for you one more time, your pride would never let you sleep at night properly.
— Darling? — Your dad called out and, startled, you looked at him, still holding hands over the papyrus as if it were an illegal and secret scientific experiment. — Relax, relax, calm down! You were so absorbed in thought, but I'm sorry to interrupt. — You grunted, bringing hands to your forehead and massaging it calmly, before gesturing for him to continue speaking. — I have to go to Sparta, ‘s it okay if I leave you alone for a little while longer?
Your eyebrows rose. It was the first time he had ever let you know that he would be gone for a while and a small, tired smile appeared on your lips before you nodded.
— ‘Course, don't worry, that's okay, and I promise I won't do anything while you're gone. — He chuckled in response, but you could sense that it was nervousness, not excitement.
A little kiss on the forehead was the parting shot he gave you before he waved and picked up a cloth bag, the inside of which was probably filled with gold or silver.
Again, you were left alone. Heart full and frantic just like your head, the only thing silent around you was the house and your physical body.
A sigh escaped you, long and tired. Soon after, your head fell to the side and eyes, almost in an act of needing comfort and reassurance, fell on the pile of Haruchiyo's letter papers. Another sigh escaped your lips, and without even realizing it you rose from your chair and walked to the nearest window; night was falling, and your memory, doing the opposite stroke — you had promised that you would see the stars with Rindou.
Promised. Just as he had promised to let you meet Aphrodite at the beginning of everything, just as he had also promised to bring you back to life and unlock your heart with a new arrow. All based on promises that seemed empty and harmless and even too childish, but all fulfilled without exception, as if he were the aedo of your poem and made Haruchiyo a simple rhapsod.
Your eyes went to the top of the mount, where the Nine Muses stood and would continue to do so for the rest of eternity. It was the best place to see the stars. Thinking about it, you calmly walked to the front door of the house, but halfway there, you realized that you were still holding tightly one of Apollo's letters, which was left on the nearest small table and you left without looking either back or at it.
Your only company during the entire short climb was your own thoughts and the sound of the breathing wanting to become more accelerated by physical exertion, your body had not yet gotten used to being alive completely again. But seeing Rindou sitting in the converging center of all the nine houses built there, your soul had the impression of becoming a little more accustomed to the craft of life. It was almost as if he already knew that you would want to talk to him that night.
— Were you looking for me? — His voice was calm, without the provocative tone of most of the time.
— As luck would have it, yes. — You answered with a small smile and sat down beside him on the short grass that paved the ground in that part of the hill. — How are things at Olympus?
— You mean with Haruchiyo? — He put hands on the ground and let the full weight of his body carry him back, his face lifting to look at the starry sky while you kept looking at him.
— With you.
His tongue passed over his lips slowly, before his head dropped forward again and he stared back at you.
— You could say that... things are getting better, slowly, but are, for me at least. Did you ever meet my brother, Ran? — His face contorted and you shrugged. — But anyway, he and I were a little shaken up, and as brothers we tried to be friends, but he was probably the person who tried the hardest to warn me not to do everything and I ended up turning my back on him, but... — It was Rindou's turn to shrug. — I don't regret fighting with him a while ago about everything, but I think it’ll be a while before he trusts me completely. — He gave me a small smile, which conveyed nothing but excitement and contentment. — But, alright, I can wait until he sees me as a younger brother again.
You nodded and looked up at the sky for a few seconds before also resting your hands on the grassy ground.
— And Artemis? How is she?
— Pissed off. — Rindou replied before stifling a small laugh. — She kind of took the blame for not having... how can I put it? Killed you right? Anyway, it's stuff I only half know about, but from what I've been told Hades had some “important business” with her ‘n I can't really say what exactly they agreed on, but I know it has nothing to do with you since none of them could dream of touching you without messing with my mother. — He let his head drop to the side. — And you, hm? How were you these days that I gave you a break?
— I've... been thinking a lot, more than I'd like to, if I may admit. — You answered with a small smile, as if the muscles in your face wanted to smile, but your brain couldn't force you to do it completely. — But I think I'm fine, except for my overthinking.
Rindou approached you, but only to lie down beside your body and pat himself twice on the chest in a silent invitation that you accepted without much thought. Your head rested exactly where his heart was confined, but facing up, with the face staring up at the sky as calm as the breath of the god beneath you.
— May I ask you something?
— You must. — He answered, placing a hand on your cheek and caressing it.
— What are you feeling? — You saw his face contort into a thoughtful countenance and his chest rise and fall indicating that he was taking a deep breath.
— Anxiety and passion, and honestly? It's not a very good combination, I feel like my heart is about to explode. — He grunted in disgust. — But, ‘m also feeling pretty good ‘n I think that now that I know you're alright and can live in peace, I can go on with my life knowing that I haven't made the same mistake as before.
— Even if...?
The rest of the sentence was implied between the two of you.
— Even if. — He nodded before speaking again. — Y’know, there was something I wanted to tell you before I let you into Artemis' altar that day, but... — You could feel his heart racing dramatically. — I didn't want to influence your decisions any more than I already have.
You slowly stood up before turning to face him and placing hands on the ground beneath his body, your body sideways over his still lying one and your eyes locked with his.
— Say it, Rindou. — As you spoke, one of his hands reached up to your hair, his fingers tangling in your locks, not to damage or pull them, but just to press his fingertips against the most sensitive part of your head as a small caress.
— Why should I? What's the point of saying that shitty three words for someone who's not going to say it back?
A tiny sliver of your heart fell into the abyss of pain after those words, but it would hurt less for himself, first as a living being, second as God, to stop pretending that the situation was balanced and that you didn't already have some kind of decision made before you died.
— I never said I wouldn't say it back, Rindou.
— And you never said you’d say it back, either. — He answered, rising to sit slowly and taking you with him, his hand still gently holding your hair and your body dancing to his’ music. — Listen, pretty thing. — He pulled your face a little closer to his and you noticed how your breathing was out of sync compared to his, but it wasn't just because of the closeness. — I know better than anyone that I wasn't your only, but I wanted to be your one, and even then, I know that just a little bit of your love won't heal me completely, so– Hey! Don't do it, don't cry right now.
Rindou giggled and ran both thumbs over your cheeks massaging them so as not to let the tears finish running down.
— Look at the stars, at this sky, you shouldn't be crying while we're having such a beautiful sight. — His head bobbed up to the sky and you slowly lifted yours to catch a glimpse of it.
— I'm afraid this may be the last time I'll be able to see you without crying. — You replied, trying to swallow the knot of tears stuck in the middle of your throat.
— If that's the case, you don't have to worry about looking at the stars, you're a whole galaxy and who needs just one star when you're already several, hm? — An embarrassed giggle escaped you, and Rindou opened a bright smile before lying back down and pulling you to rest the head on his chest again. — And, yeah... I love you so much, so much that I could write more Odysseys than Homer just talking about you.
He massaged your back; you opened a small smile of affection and nestled a little better and tighter against his warm chest.
It was a silent choice, only as Eros’ aim.

Satisfy
Content Warnings: MDNI! Dom!Rindou x SubFem!Reader, drinking and driving Fingering and driving ✓, small amount of degrading and praise, overstimulation, and unsafe driving ig
Tumblr media
currently only thinking about rindou fingering you while hes driving <3
one hand would be gripping your thigh, digging his nails into your skin hard enough to leave crescent marks and the other would be latched onto the wheel tightly as he slowly works his fingers toward your soaked panties, briefly brushing them against the growing sticky circle in the middle.
He’d stare at you, eyes hazy and clouded with lust, letting out a breathy raspy laugh when you spread your legs wider for him.
“Fuckin’ slut” he laughs at you, causing your face to flush as you hold back a whimper.
his pace would go from really slow and tender to deep and fast, hitting all the right places. your little whines and moans would turn him on so bad. he would contemplate pulling over and fucking you in the drivers seat, but he would somehow keep his cool. he doesn’t stop until your pussy is a soaked mess, making the leather seats and his fingers covered in cum
“such a good girl, I bet this pussy was callin’ for me all day.” he sighs contently, continuing to rub circles against your clit, causing you to tremble and jolt through overstimulation. Hot and bothered you pleaded, “p-please rin”. He turned his focus to your eyes and after a moment, he pulled his hand away and sighed. “We’ll just have to wait to get home so you can satisfy me” he held your gaze before sending you a wink and stepping on the gas.

DATING RINDOU HEADCANONS !!
Tumblr media
[request]
content : gender neutral reader, fluff, bonten rindou <3, there’s not much to add here apart from swearing here and there and one mention of an injury i think :0
notes : this was longer than expected but this is what happens when you give me a request for one of my favourite characters <3
Tumblr media
- 2nd best boyfriend according to wakui himself hello ??
- we all know rindou is treating you properly. if you’re dating rindou he’s gonna treat you right and how you should be treated in a relationship.
- he’s not one of the best boyfriends ever for nothing <3
- he makes it very clear that he doesn’t want you involved with his work if possible - you know exactly what he does, he just doesn’t want you being put at risk of getting hurt or even killed just because of the people he’s involved with
- so as much as he would love for you to come and surprise him every now and again and sit with him while he does work you’re not allowed :/
- the only way you really become involved with his work is when you’re patching him up after a mission because he doesn’t want anyone else to do it but you <3 why go to the hospital when he has his very own “cute little nurse” of his own?
- “you should wear- fuck, that hurts,” rindou groaned as you began to clean one of the deeper cuts on his chest, “you should wear one of those hot nurse outfits next time… just f’me, yeah?”
- he likes to take you to events / parties to do with the people he works with or if everyone agreed they’d go to the club later that night <3 - he’s happy with you meeting everyone he works with like mikey, koko, kakucho etc if you don’t already know them because he gets to show you off to them <3 he makes it very clear that you’re his though :0
- the whole time he’s got this smug look on his face until ran cracks a joke about him when you leave for a second - “they’re clearly being held hostage by rindou, why would they date him when i’m stood in front of them?” ran thinks he’s funny :/
- although rindou is very happy you and ran get along and like each other he knows he’ll never be able to escape his brother’s teasing
- really, he just loves going out with you regardless of where it is so everyone can see how pretty and wonderful you are <3
- keeps you an arm’s length away from sanzu though… he’s a little unpredictable idk he might pull a katana out his ass 🫶
- he’s pretty possessive of you :0 - it’s very much because he wants to keep you safe and away from harm, he’s not exactly worried about other guys anyways, as if they’d be able to win you over when they’re up against rindou haitani
- i don’t think other people would even get a chance at attempting to speak to you like that because he’s always there with an arm around you - he always has one of his scary glares that are enough to put even the bravest person on earth off from speaking to you
- he always makes sure to wear his rings when you’re all dressed up with him just in case he feels the need to beat someone up 🫶
- it’s not like rindou expects you to go off with anyone else anyways, he trusts you a lot and he knows you wouldn’t do something like that <3 (and he wouldn’t either mwah)
- expect a lot of dates (most of them make you wonder just how much money he has) <3 shopping sprees, fancy restaurants, you name it you’ve done it a million times already
- most of the fancy dates are planned by rindou or they’re rindou’s ideas so he always makes sure to listen to what you want to do when you have a little date idea or you wanna go somewhere (even if it’s not somewhere with a 5 star badge on it) <3
- he will do anything you suggest even if he’d never considered doing it himself (and even if he’s a little reluctant towards it he’ll still go and do what you want lmao)
- like if you wanna go to the cute little cafe you always walk past and get cake he’s down. if you simply just want to go on a walk to take photos of the sunset he’s happy with that too ! - he knows you enjoy all the expensive meals and the meters-long receipts from shopping sprees but he also just enjoys more quiet moments with the two of you together <3
- he still doesn’t understand why people like picnics so much though…
- in private rindou is a softie we all know this by now.
- lots and lots of cuddles <3 he will always take any free minute in a day you both have to just cuddle with you - he gets pretty busy and stressed because of work so he loves being able to hold you to his chest, hugging and kissing you or listening to you talking to him about whatever comes to mind so he can forget about literally anything else for a bit <3
- it’s pretty rare for him to be the one being held and kissed though - he prefers being the ‘big spoon’ and being the one holding you, it’s enough for him so if you want to be in his place you have to initiate it and do a bit of persuading
- he always enjoys it though <3
- he always cuddles up close to you when you go to sleep too - he doesn't care of it’s 100 degrees, you are sleeping on top of him or under his arm no questions asked.
- he likes physical affection a lot <3 he’s always kissing you and wrapping his arms around you, or little touches here and there - he finds that it comes naturally to him compared to other ways of expression and he hopes it says what he wants to say <3
- he will make out with you anywhere as long as there’s no one else around. he’s pretty sure you’ve made out in every room of the house multiple times (his favourite being the bedroom of course) and he’s slowly adding different places to the list
- likes his office at home too - if you come in to see how he’s doing, he’s grabbing you and sitting you on his lap kissing you until your lips hurt </3 he’ll keep you sat on his lap once he goes back to what he was doing - “you sit there, lookin’ pretty for me, angel, ‘m almost done.”
- he’s waiting for the day he lets up on the no-visiting-at-work rule so he can have you sat on his desk with his hands all over you when sanzu walks in <3 - rindou thinks sanzu has a little crush on you (he doesn’t, he’s just genuinely trying to be nice and making sure you’re not scared of him) and although he’s not fond of the idea of anyone but him seeing you like that, he’ll pass up on that situation just this once.
- “maybe i should just kill him, i can cover it up,” rindou sighs as he props his feet up on the coffee table, leaning his head back on the couch, “how’s he gonna sit here and flirt with you when he’s constantly following mikey around like the fuckin’ dog he is! isn’t mikey enough for him? see! he’d be a shitty boyfriend, that’s like cheating if you think about it, y/n!”
- rindou is the type to let you do anything to him. he’s the “anything for you” type (even if he kinda can’t be bothered)
- he likes it when you sit him down to show him what you bought when you were out with your friends ! it makes him laugh at how excited you are to show him everything and he gets you to try everything on so he can “see it properly” and get a good idea of how you like to dress so he knows what to buy you as a surprise
- “mhm, i like that one, too. looks real pretty on you, sweetheart.”
- yes. even the underwear. he’s not letting you get away without showing him those :0
- he lets you mess around with his hair and tie it up in all sorts of ways and it’s you’re lucky you might be able to sway him to let you put a tiny bit of makeup on him
- he tries to get you to work out with him in return but often you just end up sitting on his back or lying under him while he does push ups 🫶
- he does his best at taking care of you on bad days but he’s not the best at helping you :/ he’s better at attempting to distract you from whatever’s worrying you or dragging you out of bed rather than actually offering help - he would if he could but he doesn’t want to accidentally give shitty advice and make you feel worse :(
- “tell you what, baby, we can go and take a nap for a little, ‘n’ if you feel up to it we can go on a walk or watch a movie, yeah? that sound good? s’ gonna be okay, don’t worry that pretty little head of yours.”
- but y’know :/ rindou has a short temper and gets in a bad mood easily especially if something manages to hit a certain nerve that day - some days he just can’t stand the people he works with and he swears the world teams up against him to piss him off and to give him the most difficult day possible
- and sometimes he just can’t shake off his sour mood before he gets home and you have to deal with the tail end of it :/
- he snaps at you on days like that - “bad day, rin?” “is it not fuckin’ obvious, y/n? fucking hell.”
- but it only lasts for a few minutes ! once he’s gotten changed and had a shower if he can be bothered he’s cuddling up next to you on the couch, kissing you all over and apologising <3
- “’m sorry, baby,” he whispered as he pulled you into his lap, kissing your head, “shouldn’t have spoken to you like that, ‘s not your fault.”
- and rindou is forgiven because we know he’d never do anything to upset you or hurt you on purpose <3
- overall dating rindou is literally the best, he would do anything for you and he loves you so so much <3

tokyo revengers ⇢ YOU’RE TOO DRUNK TO RECOGNIZE YOUR BOYFRIEND
ft. manjiro “mikey” sano, ken “draken” ryuguji, keisuke baji, takashi mitsuya, rindou haitani, ran haitani & shuji hanma
warnings: alcohol and a very hammered reader. the boys are more responsible than you <3
Tumblr media
this is one of the rare occurrences wherein MIKEY actually shares his food. when you’ve finally given up on fighting him for the last bottle of alcohol, you start whining about your sudden hunger so he slides his plate of nachos over to you. he watches you eye it for a second before you drag your gaze up to him. “i have a boyfriend you know?” you tell him, your attempt to be menacing coming out pathetically as the attitude dripping from your tone is dampened by your slurred speech. mikey doesn’t need the club to be well lit. the strobe lights already illuminate your face enough for him to get a clear view of your glassy eyes and flushed cheeks. “i know,” he confirms with a tinge of exasperation, “because it’s me. mikey. your boyfriend.” he emphasizes his last words, his last effort to knock some sense into you but you only let out a cackle which catches him off guard. “nice try but mikey never shares his food.”
Tumblr media
“that’s enough.” DRAKEN snatches the last of your many drinks for the night before you can gulp it down. being the perceptive boyfriend he is, he can already hear the complaint that’s about to slip from your tongue so he’s quick to pull you by the wrist, up from your seat and out the door. “where are you taking me?” you ask as clearly as your drunken state can let you—not so much but enough for your boyfriend to understand. “home.” at his curt reply, you yank your hand from his grip with a strength that startles even toman’s former vice president. “what the hell are you doing?” draken hisses lest you make a scene in public. “i’m calling my boyfriend,” you warn him, “bet he can kick your ass.” “yeah? i’d like to see him try.” he dismisses your empty threat, reaching for you once more to guide you to the exit but upon hearing a few whispers from prying strangers who are clearly getting the wrong idea, he stops in his tracks and turns to no one in particular, no longer caring about whatever commotion he may cause as his voice booms over the loud music: “i’m the boyfriend!”
Tumblr media
“let me go!” you relentlessly thrash around, yelling out threats of calling your boyfriend, while BAJI—the boyfriend in question—pulls you into an empty alleyway to avoid any possible public humiliation for the both of you. “fuck,” he huffs out a breath, “when did you get this strong?” some time in the night, he’s tuned you out telling him off, on a sole mission to stop you from drinking more than you already have. and he’s relieved he managed to get you out of the bar—that is until he hears a weird noise coming from you. “wh-” baji doesn’t get the chance to utter a single word as you begin to throw up. in a panic, he hastily puts your hair up with his spare tie before rubbing soothing circles on your back. your hair looks real messy, he notes, but that’s the least of his worries. “you feeling better?” he checks on you after a while, only to be met by more retching, making him grumble to himself, “and i get an earful when i drink too much.”
Tumblr media
MITSUYA is helping you get on your feet—sweet boyfriend he is—but as soon as you find your footing, you give him a hefty shove. “i have a boyfriend, jackass!” you seethe, too drunk to recognize him, and all he can do is sigh as he regains his balance. “yes. me.” something clicks in your brain at his response and you squint your eyes to get a better look at him. “takashi?” “hi, love.” and just like that, you perk up, your mouth stretching into a wide grin. “taka,” you squeal, excitement coursing through your veins when you recognize your boyfriend, “hiiiii~” he laughs at the shift in your tone and takes the opportunity to slide an arm around your waist once more. “let’s get you home okay?” “mhm.” you wrap your arms around him and he lifts you with ease. mitsuya assumes you’re fast asleep until a few minutes later, you mumble something against his skin, “someone tried to flirt with me but i said no.” a chuckle bubbles past his lips as he adjusts his hold on you. “really?” “mhm,” you nod into his neck as you snuggle closer, “i only love you.” “i love you more.” “love you most,” you reply before soft snores fall from your lips and your breathing evens out.
Tumblr media
you’re rambling about RINDOU to rindou himself, going on and on about the reasons that made you fall in love with him. and while you’re occasionally interrupted by your hiccups, he patiently listens to your every word then he hears a “but.” the ways you describe him next are less flattering, less romantic—how he tries so hard to act indifferent to your cooing as if the tips of his ears don’t instantly turn red. or how he has a permanent scowl etched on his face. and other things you already tell him even when you’re sober. “he’s really lucky he doesn’t have any wrinkles yet,” you add with a giggle. “you’re really annoying when you’re drunk, you know that?” rindou deadpans. despite the lack of lighting in the club, he doesn’t miss the shock washing over you, your eyes getting mistier by the second. “what?” your voice comes out shaky and your bottom lip starts to wobble, making rindou release another groan. “for fuck’s sake.”
Tumblr media
in spite of your insistence to stay at the club, RAN easily managed to drag you to his car. this isn’t his first rodeo. as an older brother, he has had to deal with rindou when he was blackout drunk. “where are we going?” you mumble as you begin to stir in the passenger seat. “home.” “i wanna see ran.” your boyfriend throws you a quick glance—your eyes remain closed and the rest of your words are incomprehensible—before he focuses back on the road. amused by your drunken state, he plays along. “alright, we’re going to ran.” the stretch of silence that follows is cut short when you speak again, “i’m thirsty.” so ran makes a quick stop at a convenience store, coming back shortly with a bottle in hand. he unscrews the cap before he gives you the drink, “careful.” you take a big gulp, instantly grimacing at the taste and it elicits a snort from your boyfriend. “what is this?” “water.”
Tumblr media
“want more,” you slur. across from you, HANMA watches as you clumsily reach for the empty shot glasses on the table, flipping them upside down as if more alcohol will magically appear. he’s not going to lie—he finds it funny. entertaining, even. and if the circumstances were any different, he would’ve even encouraged this behavior. but he’s your boyfriend now and if there’s one thing he truly cares about, it’s you. drunk out of your wits, you don’t notice when hanma slides out of the booth until he’s soon presenting two more glasses to you. even though the contents are the same, he asks you to choose, “which one?” “hmm… that.” before you can get your hands on your drink, hanma intercepts and downs it in one go. you’re about to protest when he throws you over his shoulder and chugs the other drink out of your sight before heading for the exit. “let’s go.”

-------------------------------------------------------
Rindou Haitani had always been a ruthless gangster. He had climbed up the ranks of his gang by using fear and violence as his tools. He was feared and respected by everyone who knew him. But deep down inside, Rindou felt empty. He had everything he ever wanted - money, power, and respect, but he didn't have anyone to share it with.
One day, as Rindou was walking down the street, he saw a girl walking to school. She was kind, compassionate, and always had a smile on her face. Rindou was mesmerized by her beauty and her pure heart. He had never felt this way before. He knew he had to meet her.
Rindou started following the girl every day, keeping a safe distance so she wouldn't notice him. He watched her from afar, admiring her kindness and beauty. As days went by, Rindou realized that he was falling in love with her.
One day, Rindou decided to take a chance and talk to the girl. He walked up to her and introduced himself. At first, the girl was hesitant to talk to him, but Rindou's kind words and charming smile won her over. They started talking every day, and Rindou slowly began to open up to her.
The girl had no idea that Rindou was a gangster. She only saw the good in him, and that made Rindou want to be a better person. He started changing his ways, using his power and influence to help people instead of hurting them.
As time passed, Rindou's love for the girl grew stronger. He knew he had to tell her the truth about his past. He took her to a quiet place and confessed everything to her. The girl was shocked, but she didn't judge him. Instead, she embraced him and told him that she loved him for who he was, not for what he had done in the past.
Rindou and the girl started dating, and Rindou's life changed completely. He left his old life behind and started a new life with the girl he loved. He found happiness in the simple things in life, like holding hands and walking in the park.
Years went by, and Rindou and the girl got married. Rindou had never been happier in his life. He knew that he had found his true love, and he would do anything to protect her and keep her happy.
Rindou's old gang members tried to pull him back into the gang life, but he refused. He knew that his love for the girl was more important than anything else in the world. Rindou had finally found the one thing that he had been searching for all his life - love.

"You better die after me"
Characters: Ran Haitani, Rindou Haitani and Sanzu Haruchiyo.
MASTERLIST | Open Requests!
────────────────────
Ran Haitani
Tumblr media
"You better die after me" Ran says suddenly, watching Y/n make their lunch.
"What are you talking about silly?" Y/n says laughing.
"I know I'm kind of stupid sometimes-"
"Sometimes?" Y/n interrupts Ran, causing him to snort, and pull her onto her lap.
"I need you to know I mean it when I say I'm not going to live a life without you in it." Ran says kissing Y/n's cheek.
"Rindou wouldn't like to hear that."
"Oh come on, you know he likes you more than me." Ran says making Y/n laugh.
He watches her smile with hearts in her eyes.
"Please let me die first."
"Alright, stop saying those things Ran!
────────────────────
Rindou Haitani
Tumblr media
"Woman!" Rindou says entering their shared room.
"What was Haitani Two?" Y/n responds without looking at her husband, still making the bed.
"You better-" He stopped as soon as he understood what she had said. "What did you call me?"
"Haitani two" Y/n says smiling innocently at husband.
"For the sake of our marriage, I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that."
"Right, and why did you look so angry?"
"Oh right...You better die after me!"
"Than you -" Rindou interrupts his wife holding her face and kissing her nose.
"I couldn't bear to see you go, so obey my order, and don't die before me!" Before his wife can answer, Rindou kisses her mouth.
────────────────────
Sanzu Haruchiyo
Tumblr media
"Where is your lady, Sanzu?" Ran asks teasing Sanzu.
Yes, he knows that the best way to tease this maniac is by talking about his lady.
"She's home, safe at home." Sanzu responds without looking at Ran.
"How are you so sure she's safe?" Rindou says, making Sanzu look at him.
"What the fuck are you talking about?" Sanzu gets up, facing Rindou.
"Calm down Sanzu, they're just being idiots." Kakucho says rolling his eyes.
The Haitani brothers laugh and go back to talking normally, but Sanzu can't stop thinking about what Rindou said.
He steps away from the group and, with trembling hands, dials his number, which he has memorized.
"Come on, fuck, pick up, please." he says as he hears it call three times.
"Hi love"
Sanzu closes his eyes relieved to hear his girlfriend's voice.
"Damn it, for the good of society You better die after me."
