The russian prof from mandatory classes who makes me want to shoot myself: well nobody gets 了……了 grammar immediately so you should memorize these five different grammatical definitions and also its a bit similar to english antiquintiparticipalitial time idk i don't really study english. Chinese people are pretty bad at explaining it too and it's extremely hard. Did i mention its hard especially for russian speakers because we don't have ongoing time. Oh yea almost forgot its about ongoing time. Anyway this is a verb with an empty addition that doesn't mean anything sometimes it can disappear and reappear and it isnt real and sometimes they change place. You have to learn 30 new hsk6 words in a week and none of them have the hanzi you are familiar with. As always im very disappointed with you all and you should do better. Can i please talk about how much i hate gay people now while you do 5 sentences with these 10 new grammar points each. I need 50 sentences so bad. Now i will answer A****a's questions for 20 minutes because she's the only one who didn't understand anything.

The chinese prof from additional classes that happen at 5pm and that I am barely awake for, yet understand better than the circus that happens in university during the day: if you have one 了, it means the time is past. If you have 了……了 it means that it started in the past and is still happening. Anyway these are separable verbs. Which are verbs that separate and things come inside them, enveloped by both parts of the verb. You cant apply stuff to the second part of the verb so it changes position to expose the first half. Please understand.
