Kee’d been beaten to a pulp, as far as anyone could tell. She was on the ground, one wing twitching, one eye swollen shut, but she was laughing, as her opponent finally went down. With no shortage of groans, entirely unable to hide her pain, she forced herself to her feet, and looked at the crowd. “That all you fuckers got?” she shouted, arms and wings spread wide. “Come on -- someone’s got to be able to take down a single little girl, right?” 

She scented a ravager in the crowd. Someone possibly familiar. Or maybe just someone who desperately needed a bath. Either way, she pointed him out. “How about you, killer? Fancy beating up a girl?”

E'Lisa had nightmares. Some nights they kept her up, drenched in her own cold sweat. She hated being alone. The warmth of another body was something she had craved since Saal. Weakness, she couldn't give in to the temptation. But tonight was different. The nightmares were vivid, causing her to wake up screaming and clutching her tattered blanket. The ceiling offered no comfort. She snuck down the hallways, tip toeing past the other men who were slowly drinking their way to slumber. She carefully slid into Halfnuts bunk being cautious not to wake him. Every nerve in her body was screaming to not do this. He didn't want attachment and nor did she, but no one would know. She locked the door. He was warm, comforting. She nestled her head in the crook of his arm and allowed her eyelids to flutter closed.

Though she’d never really paid much attention to Halfnut and what set him off, mostly because he tended to scare the hell out of her. An oversight on her part, one she was regretting. Dark eyes narrowed at him, her suspicion that he might try to knock her against the wall again growing. But she took his hand, grateful for the help as she pushed herself to stand up. 

“It’s fine, just... Not so hard next time, alright? Think you might’ve knocked my spine out of line.” She pressed her hands on the small of her back, wincing at the sudden crick in her bones. Damn, he could definitely kick her ass if the need struck him, that was for sure.

I can’t see anyway the surgery would be considered safe even if they are advanced in their technology. It’s basically reshaping of the bone structure.

Given that there are corrections that can be performed now and given that mankind has been practising skeletal surgery since the neolithic, I’m pretty sure it’s going to be an option with the advent of more advanced surgeries!

     and lbr, hardly the least believable thing in the gotg universe.

Appreciation blog

I first changed this blog to Ikon, I was really scared about interactions. I didn’t know if people would like him or me, that I was annoying, everything. Yet there people interacted and stayed by me! ((Even tho I’m annoying as fuck so sorry.))

@theyondu My first friend and rp partner, I enjoy just talking with them! They pushed me to message people and try to get out there more. They’re an amazing comfort to me.

@halfnxt I love this crazy bastard, Talking with them is neat plus I can be laid back. Their crazy ravager helps Ikon remain calm. @txllk

@ask-ravager-peter-quill my cosplay partner and now friend. I have so much fun exploring things with Jukin and Ikon with younger Peter. Theyondu said they were pretty chill and awesome and bam, they are!

@recklessxndrelentless This Person is awesome and I never thought I would get to rp with them. They handle allllll my shit at times with Ikon x Peter (which is too cute omg) I’m happy to know them

@halfnxt Udonta was walking through the ship and today the one in charge of following him, after all he didn't need protection, was Halfnut and a rookie, but logically Udonta didn't want that newbie listened to the things Halfnxt spoke, that is, Yondu had moved the boy to other job "What are ye lookin' a t, Halfnut?" Yondu asked irritably, probably the only reason Half was not dead was because he obeyed his captain when they had to kill someone faster whitout questions. But today Yondu looked angry, maybe it was the hormones.

Mutiny wasn’t a far-fetched notion in her mind, not after the events of the past few months. Though the thought of betraying their captain never so much as crossed her mind, Cas knew better than to hope that she wasn’t the only one who thought that way. Taserface’s grumblings back on Contraxia had only proven her theory. 

And then Berhert had destroyed any chance of mending the broken trust between the Ravagers. With Taserface leading the other disgruntled Ravagers, it wasn’t a surprise that his first order was to round up the loyalists and toss them off the ship. No one would be spared.

But Cas wasn’t going down. Not without a fight. 

She was sprinting through the engine room, dodging cables, glancing over her shoulder as thundering footsteps grew closer and closer. She’d broken free from her captors while they were busy dragging Tullk to the airlock, unable to secure his freedom before she ran. If she could get to the hangar bay, then she could get to her ship. Then maybe, just maybe, she could figure out how to rescue the captain.
