The treasures we are finding at the Edmonds By-Appointment-Only sale continues to amaze us! This amazing 90+ year old man amassed such incredible and rare collections. I learn more and more every time I work there. There are several pieces of furniture that totally mystify me… ornate, carved heads and faces. I’ve never seen so many in one place! Just one-third of one six-foot table packed with hotel silver as we begin the arduous (but fun!) task of sorting through a lifetime collection. I spent four-plus hours yesterday emptying drawers and cupboards packed with hotel silver, silver plate, and sterling. I’ve just barely touched the surface! Just when I thought two 6’ tables would hold ALL of the hotel silver (I was even forced to stack pieces)… even more surfaced and up goes another table! We already have another table with other very nice silver plate, but not hotel, and we have a fifth table set up for sterling flatware sets and hollowware.
