To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone
Status: INTERMEDIATE DECK. This deck runs with no board clear and zero spells; if it doesn't draw well it just flat out loses. If you're new or don't have a lot of dust, you might want to craft a different deck. Use at own risk. That having been said, it's one of the higher ranked decks on hsreplay, so take a look and see. Assets: Every card is a buffable minion except for the weapon; Magatha therefore draws FIVE cards and ZERO spells. I've added Fordring as 'closer' card, drops a 5/3 weapon. Notes: I took out Air Guitarist and added Fordring, who drops a 5/3 weapon, to close out the game. I tend to always add a 'closer' card. But that's just me. Usually it's a 'big boi'. The bigger the better? Fordring's an 8 :/ (Mini trolls, but he straight). www.twitch.tv/NeutralG - NeutralG on twitch.tv! 20 June 2024 SAY YES TO THE DECK? No to the deck! Though it's entirely possible that this is one of the better decks available to diamond+ players according to other sources, I find it really hard to pull off a win without ANY spells or board clear. It's not my style, Ima pass on this possibly incredible deck. NO to the deck! But do take a look and craft it if you're really into handbuff and paladin. If so, check out or google 'flood paladin' for a few spells mixed in, which is, of course, another deck for another day!

Don't worry guys I gave him some handbuff, he's got this.
So I found a game called Card Toons. It's a really fun game that's basically Slay the Spire, but with Hearthstone (without the Blizzard attachment). And the gameplay is fun obviously, but the writing in it is really charming.
So there was an event where I could pick up 200 Gold but I had to "Add Noodles to my deck". This is Noodles.
Tumblr media
Now, in case you can't tell, this card is atrocious, so the tradeoff is you take the gold, but in exchange you get a terrible card. Cool tradeoff.
Anyway, the story they come up with is that the gold that you picked up was cursed by the ghost of a snarky cat who now doesn't have a place to live anymore or something, so he just follows you around now.
And that's really cute. But it gets better. The very next battle, I start the round and I draw a hand full of high-cost cards, including noodles, and since you start every game with 1 Energy, I couldn't do anything that whole turn.
And the motherfucker had a TEXT BUBBLE SHOW UP THAT SAID "LOL NICE TOPDECK"
This game is so charming and I only just started.

Some (hopefully constructive) feedback. Seek and Conjure feel good to play with on Arena; conjure in particular feels really fun and interesting. So far, perpetual really jars my senses though. It just feels wrong for the characteristics not to reset when removed. The handbuff cards feel more acceptable though. I wish I could give better reasons than 'feel' but maybe it's helpful for you.
When Alliances first came out, there were players that really didn’t like the pitch spells because they felt the cards broke an unwritten rule - that being tapped out meant you couldn’t cast spells. I got a lot of similar feedback that the cards “felt wrong”.
I got similar notes about split cards (it changed the frame), hybrid cards (it changed the mana symbols), double-faced cards (it changed cards having one “side”), and various other cards/mechanics that “broke the rules”.
What we found was when cards break into space that you had defined as a definitive rule of the game, it takes time for you to readjust this sense of feel, but once you readjust, it starts feeling natural.

Harmony Journal Day 2
After being carried by my Harmony deck through some very smooth winning streaks, it eventually started getting rougher and rougher to progress. So I’ve decided to make some tweaks! My deck looks as follows:
Tumblr media
(Image from: https://www.playgwent.com/en/decks/a4aa9293be149839d515e5c8dea9dffb) The match history is as follows:
Tumblr media
(Source: playgwent.com - match history)
As you can see, I haven’t fared nearly so smoothly as before. Now, one of these Ls was a piloting mistake, but the others were quite difficult to win because of excessive control on the opponent’s part or not enough control on my part. Thought that was to be expected as I’ve slowly hit rank 11 and that is when things get more and more competitive. Card swaps: Teleportation -> Abandoned Girl   I decided for this because Teleportation, while it helped trigger Harmony, often lost me a lot of points, so replacing it with a Human unit seems like a good idea to get a rare tag in and get rid of the problem. Teleportation -> Oakcritters   This change was made for similar reasons as above, except I’ve chosen oakcritters to have at least one Treant in deck, since I swapped out the previously used one. Weeping Willow -> Sirssa   I think Weeping Willow is kind of bad as a standalone, since there is no other poison card in my deck and shield really doesn’t do a whole lot. Sirssa’s dryad tag also fits, because oftentimes I don’t have a dryad to play (since I mostly trigger Waters with Fauve), so Dryad is a tag I might need.
Analysis: Overall, the deck shares the same strengths and weaknesses it has had beforehand. But, surprisingly, it fared well against Assimilate. I got outgreeded by a Koshchey/Thrive deck as well as Dwarf and Handbuff decks. Other than that, the decks fairs surprisingly well against Pirates. I’ve also learnt to keep Heatwave for game winning cards, instead of panicking and using it too early. Serpent Trap is also surprisingly useful and versatile.
I appreciate the Gwent friends who gave me feedback on my decklist and suggested changes, as well as all of you who read this! I will keep on trying to improve this deck, and probably also homebrew some new decks. Stay tuned!

Elementalist is still too strong invoking twice and so is Shaman's Gala.
But I hear it's a face Hunter, handbuff Rogue meta now? Who thought HANDBUFF ROGUE would be the thing???
Anyway. I'll go back to ranked when slower decks have half a chance.
The foretold Shaman nerfs will be patched in tomorrow (Dec. 19th). Here are the changes:
Sludge Slurper now has 1 attack (down from 2) - I did not expect this one
Corrupt Elementalist now costs 6 mana (up from 5) - totally called this one brah
Faceless Corruptor now has 4 attack (down from 5)
Mogu Fleshshaper now costs 9 mana (up from 7)
I can’t tell whether this even weakens Shaman much, aside from them probably taking Mogu/Mutate out of decks. I had already toyed with that build myself.

Ashes of Outland: Bronze Reveals
Everybody loves Bronze, the material that lead to The Bronze Age. While it was eventually supplanted by better alloys, it’s still the third-place metal of choice. Do any of these new cards meet the bronze standard?
Imprisoned Scrap Imp is a Handbuff card for Warlock. Because taking a slow mechanic and making it slower is somehow going to work out, apparently. Except it won’t, because Handbuffs have never worked out. Plus, the kind of minion heavy deck that would benefit from this probably doesn’t want to completely skip turn two. A bad design all around, I’ll say.
Marsh Hydra is a big Rush minion, that generates bigger minions. Or at least, that’s the hope. Since it has Rush, you’ll pretty much aways get one trigger, which will set you up nicely for your next turn. Eight mana minions have generally tended towards the better side of things, so as far as card generation goes, Marsh Hydra isn’t too bad. With it’s instant board impact and curve fixing properties, this looks like a good Arean pick.
Fish up Murlocs with Underlight Angling Rod. Yes, it seems that the Wheel of Paladin Archtypes has once again stopped on “Murloc Paladin”. As weapons go, I guess this is okay. It’s got as mana stats as you can have for it’s cost, and gives you a little extra value. Murlocs aren’t even difficult to play, and sometimes you can get a cool synergy with off-class Murlocs.
The Year of the Phoenix needs a phoenix card, and that card is Al’ar. While slightly difficult to get rid, I don’t think Al’ar really has enough staying power. With only three health, a lot of minions can deal with this firebird, and the Ashes of Al’ar can’t even fight back. And without Rush, Al’ar can’t attack without surviving a full turn cycle. So while this card might occationally be a speed bump to your opponent, I can’t see it being much more than that.
Prime number four is Astromancer Solarian. Her base form is a generic two mana Spell Damage booster, which is okay, but not that exciting. However, her Prime form has unlocked mysterious new technology - random spell casting that won’t screw you over. As much. Solarian Prime casts five random Mage spells, which try to target enemeis first. That’s right, no more random Pyroblasts to your face! They always go to the opponent’s face. Honestly, five random Mage spells biased towards actually being helpful sounds like it could be pretty useful, so maybe Team Five designed a randomania card that’s actually worth playing. Amazing!
Shadowjeweler Hanar is here to help you commit Secrets fraud. While he costs a mere two mana, he’s clearly more of a mid to lategame minion. Spewing out a bunch of Secrets could be very useful, although you are somewhat at the mercy of Discover RNG. This definitely has potential, although Hanar’s strength is going to be at least partially based on the Secrets Rogue gets in this set.
Also “Shadowjeweler“ is probably the most ridiculous instance I’ve seen of making a profession seem more Roguey by sticking “Shadow” to the start of it.

Unless Mithril Rod Paladin (Handbuff Bubble Paladin?) is a competitive deck I don't see why you would run this card in Standard. Maybe in Wild, but we'll have to see what further support it gets. 2 stars. https://t.co/WrU9hnCU8o https://www.instagram.com/p/CRtaz0pnW1V/?utm_medium=tumblr

I was unable to resist buying the year of the mammoth bundle and decided to open ten packs each night to spread out the joy a bit. I went with the KFT ones tonight and got one epic card (that lifesteal handbuff dude) and something like two golden rares and one golden common. No legendaries. [hannibal_buress_wack.jpg]

To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone
Assets: Taunt/Lifesteal; Gnome Muncher x2 + 9-mana Zilliax. This deck didn't have zilliax in it. I've now added it as a 9-mana closer with taunt+lifesteal. I've also added the Gnome Munchers for even more lifesteal+taunt. Other than that: It's you're standard fare Plague DK which has been dominating for some time - now with a mini touch! - get it. eZ. I'm live around 10pm EST for a few games. twitch.tv/NeutralG SAY YES TO THE DECK? YES to the deck! This was almost a No but ima say YES to this deck. I had a near 50% win rate in diamond, but didn't play it all that much. Certainly it was winning games with the best of 'em. If you like Plague DK this might be your go-to; I've also considered remaking this deck with Cool Ghoul and Seamstress; It's rediculous that Cool Ghoul needs to be attacked FIVE times just to die; AND it can be handbuffed; Ima take a look at it in a handbuff DK another time, possibly with the divine shield + ressurrect zilly, just to annoy a foo. But that's another deck for another day. Stay tuned!

There seems to be a fair amount of Deathrattle in this set, which is especially welcome since N’Zoth is still in standard for another little while.
I really like the Jailor here, it seems really fun in handbuff paladin.

really looking forward to handbuff paladin once the new set launches. There are so many good cards for the deck, you almost can’t even fit everything in there.
