I love dreams. I love dreaming. . I have epic, movie quality dreams with plots and sub plots and well developed characters. I could write books based on some of my dreams. . I used to dream a lot about being chased and needing to escape until one day I had a dream where a man came into my kitchen with his hand behind his back. I immediately felt threatened and grabbed a knife and stabbed him again and again. Then he pulled flowers out from behind his back. . This dream taught me that I assume people are out to get me. I even know this assumption was true throughout my childhood- there are several times I thought people were trying to get me when in reality they were trying to be my friend. . This lesson in trust is huge for me. Trust others, trust myself, trust the Universe. Most people are good people and to assume that they’re not is to miss out on friendships and positive experiences. . Last night I dreamt that I was feeling isolated and alone but then recognized that the people around me love and support me. I hugged a woman in my dream and she hugged me back. It’s amazing - having good dreams. And it’s amazing waking up to a dreamy reality where I am loved and supported. I just have to recognize it for what it is. It’s about being mindful of my attitude and what meanings I place on events and circumstances. . Do you dream?
