Magolor has been a very special blorbo to me, I was so excited to be apart of this collab. This piece was a struggle to put together; I hadn't quite figured out my rendering style yet, but I am still really happy with how it turned out in the end.

Y'all better go check out the entire zine and see everyone's hard work! Or else! (you'll make me very sad)

Oh my stars, I can't believe it's been an entire year since RTDL DX!

Happy 1st Anniversary to Magolor's silly amusement park!

It's also been a year since we got introduced to a bunch of masks.

Masks that I headcanon that Magolor made because it's funny to think he did.

Any of you mind if I talk about one particular mask for this post?

One mask that particularly intrigues me is Susie's weekend outfit.

Funny how they literally just dropped this without saying a word.

I wonder if this is like... any sort of indicator of how Susie may be handled in the future of the series? Or not? Potential character development for her? And what might the entire outfit look like? I've seen a lot of different fandom portrayals. I love the ones where she's given a sweater for the outfit because that makes her especially cute.

Who knows if anything comes out of this mask later? Would be great! More character development Susie would be awesome. Of course there is a lot of other Kirby characters that deserve more development, too. But I'm clearly very normal about Susie, so yeah. And to be fair, I think more development for her can go a long way to do her justice because I think she has kinda suffered from Planet Robobot not really conveying its story well. That they literally had to make a Miiverse post to clarify things says something there imo.

But anyways, happy 1st anniversary to Magolor's theme park and all the masks that he made for it! I can't believe it's been a year already.

Kirby Triple Deluxe is 10 years old already...? Oh my god

It was the first Kirby game I ever owned (though my first games that I played was I think Super Star Ultra (emulator) and RTDL on Wii). I remember getting this near the release date because I was still really hyped from playing RTDL. I remember it being very enjoyable but I still kind of lingered onto RTDL more, but that didn't stop me from replaying it numerous times. The music is still amazing though, Moonstruck Blossom is probably still one of my top OSTs from Kirby, maybe my most favorite for boss themes?

It's kind of disappointing that it doesn't get much merch. I know that This game isn't really that notable since it's overshadowed by Planet Robobot (makes sense), but Taranza used to be (maybe still is, I don't know) one of the most popular characters. But I think I can probably say the same for all of the characters post KTD since there really isn't that many figures for any of the newer characters.

While Triple Deluxe isn't that noteworthy compared to the other games, I still have some fond memories of it, maybe I should draw something small for it. Happy 10th anniversary Kirby Triple Deluxe 🎉🎉🎉

Ever since the plushes of the 64 and DL3 gang are revealed, I feel somewhat hopeful of upcoming merch releases and any announcements for the anniversary. HAL, we deserve more merch for the other characters other than Kirby.

Absolutely same. Outside of RTDL novel and Forgotten Land 30th anniversary been pretty underwhelming so far, but this announcement genuinely made me happy even though I probably won't be able to get any of these plushies, just happy that they exist.

Looks like today is Kirby's Return to Dream Land's anniversary! (for the japanese release, anyway; america’s was 10/24.) This game really, really touched my heart, as I played it for the first time this summer during a rough period in my life where I felt like so many things were going wrong. Playing the game opened me up to the rest of the series, which has since shown me so many things about positivity, love, happiness, kindness, and doing your best -- even when it’s hard and it hurts. I especially felt this during the endgame of RTDL, the ending was so sad! (But luckily, it ended up being ok in later games, whew) (also this drawing isn’t done yet but i wanted to post it anyway for now.)

Happy anniversary to this wonderful, heartfelt, beautiful game. 🌟
