11/12 Kien’s namesday! (And mine too!)

Had a namesday celebration with @circusredmage and @tokki-yue as soon as it hit midnight on 11/12! Kien now has more fat cat items so it’s safe to say the fat cat is our absolute favorite XD (and he looks so cute in the attire!) Here’s to another wonderful year for us, may it be the best one yet! ( ◠‿◠ )

Kien gets a parcel in the Moogle mail. There's a package, but no return address.

A letter states: "I know we don't each other well, but I was told it was your namesday! I made this for you, hope you like it!" Inside the package is a small cake. Yay food!

Kien returned to the house, hearing the mailbox singing a cheerful tune to indicate the mail was delivered. His ears wiggled in curiosity—the Miqo’te hadn’t been expecting anything else today so mayhap the mail was for one of his friends but upon opening the mailbox, he found a small package with a letter attached addressed to him.

“I know we don't each other well, but I was told it was your namesday! I made this for you, hope you like it!"

A small smile tugged at his mouth, his tail weaved the air eagerly behind him as he opened the package to find a small cake—he wasn’t one for sweets on a normal day but somehow a cake made for him on his namesday was always a happy exception.

He flipped the letter over again to see if there was a return address but upon finding none, he glanced up the street to see the Moogle who delivered the mail wasn’t too far away and quickly jogged to close the gap between them. “Excuse me,” the Moogle turned and Kien smiled. “There’s no return address on this parcel but I was wondering if you could you please tell whomever made this for me a ‘thank you for thinking of me today’?”

“Of course, Kien! I will be sure to do so, kupo!” The Moogle spun and floated off to do the rest of their deliveries while Kien turned toward the house again, humming happily. This was turning out to be a wonderful namesday indeed! He couldn’t wait to try the cake!

@transcendentafflatus , thank you so much for the namesday wishes and cake on Friday! (Kien enjoyed it!) It took me a bit to respond to because I had family in town for the weekend and then work tossed a bunch of late night shifts at me this week but I did see this on Friday and it made my day! Thank you so much! ( ◠‿◠ )
