12. Any books that disappointed you? Answered here, but I also finished Murder on the Christmas Express by Alexandra Benedict last night and it was abysmal. Also I hated Nine Liars by Maureen Johnson. I really need to just give up on the Truly Devious series because I pretty much hate all of the books except The Box in the Woods, but I'm too stubborn to abandon an unfinished series 💔

17. Did any books surprise you with how good they were? I was very surprised by how much I enjoyed Big Little Lies! Also Lord of the Flies by William Golding and Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynn Jones.

a lot of things, actually. my superiors complimenting my work. treating myself to something tasty. watching my favourite show. cuddling with my cats. not having to set the alarm for the next morning. unexpected texts from people i thought they forgot about me. thinking about seeing my favourite band live again, don't know when, don't know where, i just know i will

19: in the evening, would you rather play a game, visit a relative, watch a movie or read?

definitely watch a movie! the evenings are when my focus is the best, there's no noises and distractions of the day, and it's dark, like in a cinema

would you rather attend every date of your favourite singer's tour or rewatch your favourite show like the first time so obviously knowing absolutely nothing about what's going to happen?

This is actually a hard one, since I'm a homebody, & the thought of attending tons of concerts back-to-back isn't necessarily appealing to me, but the wanderlust is real.

So, I guess the concerts, since a TV show isn't much, compared to irreplaceable memories.

2. what's your feel good movie?

hmmm i think any '90s or early '00s rom com? esp like 10 things i hate about you or how to lose a guy in 10 days. idk why but those are some of my biggest comfort movies. alternatively i've watched pride and prejudice so so many times and i just love it so much, like it makes me happy whenever i watch it so maybe that?

7. what colour brings you peace?

just any soft muted pastel i think! but especially sage green more than any other colour

27. which character would you want to be?

this is such a hard question bc there are so many characters i love but i also have to consider if i could actually handle the things that they go through, and for most characters i like, i don't think i could manage it lol. so maybe elizabeth bennett or something bc she at least had a happy ending lol

abelia: do you have a particular piece of jewelry you always wear or can't part with?

not exactly jewelry but i ALWAYS have a hair tie or two on my wrist. i wear my hair loose almost all the time and i carry it in case i need to get my hair off my face quickly

papyrus: if you put your 'on repeat' playlist on shuffle, what's the first song that comes up? what do you like about it / associate it with?

jumpsuit by twenty one pilots (no idea how it made it into this playlist, actually). i love it because it's one of the best songs on the album and also it's so angry, i just love a good scream and tyler joseph does it so well
