A/N: Thank you for the request dear! Super fluffy you say? Super fluffy coming your way
Tumblr media
“You don’t look so good,” Rachel greeted, meeting you as soon as you’d stepped out of the elevator at the firm.
“I’m fine,” you replied, voice getting raspier by the second.
“Really? Because you sound like that now at 8AM so I can’t imagine what you’ll sound li-“
“Did you get those files?” You sighed, walking toward your office significantly slower than normal.
“Yes, I did but-“
“Rachel, let it go, please.”
“Fine,” the woman beside you huffed.
“Thank you. Now, I need to go through the files and you need to head to Reiter’s.”
“You’re letting me do it?” Rachel asked, surprised.
“You’re ready, we’ll give you a shot.”
“Thank you!” She squealed, before returning the same way you’d come. You couldn’t help but smile- the woman was far too excited about her work as an associate.
Walking into your office, you nearly collapsed into your chair. You couldn’t remember the last time you’d felt like this- congested, head throbbing, cold and hot at the same time, and just plain weak. But, mind over matter, right?
You continued to work, going through the large pile of files Rachel had gathered, searching for the right answer that would win you your case. Every so often you’d get a text from Rachel, letting you know whatever meeting she’d been in had gone well. It made you happy, knowing she was this good and didn’t always need your help anymore.
You’d just sat back in your chair for one second for a break when Donna knocked on the door.
“You didn’t greet Harvey this morning,” she said suspiciously.
“Busy day, Donna. I’m sorry but he can wait.”
She gave you a pointed look. “Now I know why you didn’t see him and that is exactly why you need to, Y/N.”
“Donna,” you sighed, though you both knew you could be convinced with just a little more of a push from her.
“Up, come on, up,” she insisted, moving into your office towards you. You stood before she could get to you, a little wobbly on your feet.
“Just got up too fast,” you muttered before she could say anything. Donna just hummed, sticking close to your side while you walked the short distance down the hall to Harvey’s office.
“Someone needs to see you,” she announced in Harvey’s doorway.
“Hey, I didn’t see you this morning,” your boyfriend greeted a bit hesitantly. It was odd that he hadn’t seen you, and it was odd how Donna had brought you here.
“Sorry.”
He was out of his chair in an instant, moving to stand in front of you.
“You’re sick, aren’t you?”
You couldn’t tell if it was the attention or the fact that you had a growing fever, but you suddenly felt dizzy, going so far as to grip onto Harvey while you swayed.
He steadied you and helped you over to his couch.
“You have a fever,” he murmured aloud, the back of his hand pressed to your forehead.
“I don’t feel good,” you admitted quietly. He frowned, a concerned expression on his face.
“Let’s get you home.”
“I have work to do,” you whispered. He shook his head.
“Rachel can take care of it. Donna said you already had her handling most of it today. There’s nothing left for you to do besides go home and rest.” His hand reached for yours, squeezing it gently. You nodded, letting your walls crash down as you stopped trying to convince yourself that you were going to make it the rest of the day. The man next to you, pulled you into him, not missing the way your eyes fluttered shut from exhaustion.
“Donna,” Harvey called. “Call Ray. Tell Mike he’s going to handle the rest of the day.”
“Already done.”
“I love that woman,” you sighed sleepily, cuddling in closer to Harvey.
“Sweetheart, don’t fall asleep. We have to get you home first,” your boyfriend chuckled, though the worry was evident in his voice. You groaned, but picked your head up and moved to stand, Harvey’s hand stopping you.
“Stay here, I’m going to grab your things.” He stood, bending down to press a quick kiss to your temple before leaving the room.
‘Watch her, Donna,’ you heard him say.
You shut your eyes once more, leaning back against the couch. You shivered, wishing the material was a warm one instead of the cool black leather. Though you knew it was un-ladylike, you pulled your knees up and tucked your legs underneath you, trying to savor your body heat.
Harvey was back a minute later, setting your things down on the table. He moved to pack up his bag, an eye on you constantly.
"Y/N, I've got your coat."
You dragged yourself upright, slowly getting your legs out from underneath you and standing.
"We'll be home soon," he said quietly as he helped you slide your arms into your coat. You pulled it tight around you as Harvey wound his arms around you and gave you a squeeze. You nodded, pulling away to grab your bag. Your boyfriend quickly moved around you and grabbed your bag before you could.
"I'm not helpless," you meekly retorted.
"I know, but you've got something else to hold."
Just then, Donna made her way into the office, a to-go cup in her hands.
"Tea for the ride," she said, giving a sympathetic smile as you took the warm cup.
"Thank you, Donna."
"Feel better."
"Ready?" Harvey asked. You nodded, taking the arm he offered.
---------
Five minutes into the ride your eyes were fluttering shut. Harvey took the tea out of your hands without a word. He had to gently shake you awake when you arrived.
You let Harvey help you out of the car and you tilted your head, confused.
"This isn't my apartment building."
Your boyfriend chuckled, grabbing all of the bags. "It's mine." He pressed a kiss to your temple before guiding you towards the entrance.
"You took me to your apartment?"
"We aren't walking into Mike's, if that's what you're worried about."
You couldn't help but laugh, which quickly turned into a small coughing fit.
"Let's get you inside," Harvey murmured once you were finished.
-------
An hour later, you were settled in Harvey's bed, a mountain of blankets piled on top for you. He'd gone above and beyond, ordering soup, medicine, teas, and anything else he thought you would like, including a fresh bouquet of roses. He'd set tissues and a trash can next to the bed and he'd joined you in bed the second he'd made sure you had everything.
You cuddled into him, before sitting up for a second and looking at him.
"What?"
"Thank you," you said sincerely.
"You're welcome. Now come here."
You settled yourself in his arms again, eyes closing the second your face laid against his chest.

If it’s possible could you possibly write something where reader and Harvey have been secretly married to each other for a few years the law firm doesn’t know since reader practices under her maiden name, anyway the firm finds out and tells them that they don’t need to hide anything. (Maybe they thought the firm would fire them or something?) idk up to you!
Thank you for taking my request!
A/N: Italics are in the past! I absolutely love this request! Thank you so much for requesting, I had a blast writing it! Let me know your thoughts!
Tumblr media
"Mrs. Specter," your husband whispered into your ear, pressing his lips briefly to your temple. "I will see you in thirty minutes."
"Mr. Specter," you replied, leaning into his touch, "My driver is faster than yours, so I will see you in twenty."
He chuckled, the feeling of it rumbling through his chest against your back. "I like those odds."
He left, the fluttery feeling in your chest once again taking you back to the first time you met Harvey.
"And this is our newest senior partner, Y/F/N Y/L/N," Jessica introduced Harvey to you. "Y/N, this is Harvey Specter."
"You can call me Harvey," the man replied, holding his hand out to you.
"You can call me Ms. L/N," you smiled, shaking his hand. Jessica smiled.
"And that is why I hired her."
Harvey smirked, but his eyes didn't leave your face. And though you kept his gaze, the fluttering in your chest made you want to run.
-------
By the time you'd made it to the building, Harvey had already been there thirty minutes. He caught up to you quietly in the hallway.
"What happened to twenty minutes?" he asked, trying and failing to conceal the smirk on his face as the two of you walked briskly towards your office.
"Traffic," you simply shrugged.
"I think it was actually that you still hadn't done your hair when I left."
"Shut up," you muttered, both of your eyes falling to the approaching junior partner.
"Mike," you greeted warmly, "how's that case for Robinson coming along?"
"I've got my first year associate working on it, so good."
"See, now you know why I treated you the way I did all those years," Harvey responded.
"You made me work three times the amount of hours I'm having mine work," Mike retorted.
"What are you going to do, labor laws have changed," Harvey shrugged, glancing at you.
"Don't look at me, I was always nice to my first years."
"It's true, she was the nicest," the newest junior partner agreed.
"Thank you, Mike. I will see you and Mr. Specter later at the meeting."
"How many times do I have to tell you? It's Harvey," your husband called after you.
-----
You weren't quite sure when you'd started letting him call you by your first name, but it probably had to do with the all-nighters you'd started pulling together when the firm was being sued for fraud.
"I can't find anything," you sighed, frustrated. You held your head in your hands, rubbing your temples from the exhaustion headache.
"Me either," Harvey replied, throwing down his recent stack of papers on his desk.
"What are we going to do, Harvey?" you asked softly, scared for the firm.
"I don't know, Ms. Y/L/N."
"You can call me Y/F/N, Harvey. I think we've known each other long enough."
"Does this mean we're becoming friends?" he laughed. You couldn't help but laugh too.
"Something like that."
-----
"They know," you announced, shutting the door to Harvey's office behind you.
"What do you mean they know? It's been five years, they don't know."
"They know," you repeated.
"They don't know."
"Harvey," you deadpanned.
"Sweetheart."
"Harvey, you ought to listen to your wife," you said, crossing your arms across your chest and jutting your hip out. His eyes followed the curve of your body, focusing on your hip.
"You're right, I should."
"Not the time. I heard Jessica telling the other partners, junior and senior, that she needed to hold a meeting with everyone because of something going on with two partners. Everyone was there but us."
"Because we're busy and the best in the firm," he shrugged.
"Harvey."
"Sweetheart."
"Jessica then said, and I quote 'best-kept secret relationship the firm has ever seen."
"Okay, so she knows," your husband nodded. You hummed in agreement.
"So what? She's not going to fire us," he noted.
"So why is this a partner meeting?" you questioned.
"That I don't know, but I'll find out."
You nodded, turning on your heels to get back to your office, not missing Harvey's famous call for Donna to tell him what was going on.
-----
Not even an hour later Jessica knocked on your door.
"Y/N, can I borrow you for a last minute partner meeting?"
"Of course," you replied, hoping your nerves weren't showing through your voice.
"It will only take a few moments. We just need to pick up Harvey on the way."
Stopping at Harvey's office, you waited while Jessica repeated the same words to him before leading you towards the conference room. The two of you shared a look, feeling a bit on edge. While you were more the one to feel your nerves, Harvey typically put himself more on the offensive when danger seemed possible.
"Why now, at this hour on a Tuesday?" he asked the managing partner.
"It seemed like the right time," Jessica replied simply.
"Well it doesn't feel right to me," Harvey retorted. "I had plans this afternoon."
"I'm sure you did. Y/N, didn't you also have to cancel plans? Didn't you ask for this afternoon off about a month ago?"
If you weren't sweating before, you certainly were now. Even your husband looked a tad nervous. Neither of you had time to dwell any further as you took your seats.
"There seems to be a congratulations in order," Jessica began. "One that was due five years ago."
You paled, staring straight at her. You didn't dare sneak a look at Harvey.
"It's impressive, really, keeping a secret such as this for so long. It's not a simple task to hide a marriage."
There were murmurs and whispers heard around the room. Harvey's hand briefly found your knee below the table and gave it a quick squeeze.
"Would the couple like to reveal themselves? Or should I?" Jessica asked.
"Y/N and I have an announcement," the man next to you spoke up.
There were several surprised gasps around the room, causing your cheeks to burn.
"You're married!?" Mike exclaimed, seemingly unable to help himself.
"Have been for five years, three months, and four days," your husband responded smoothly. Mike looked like he might stop breathing.
"And they have been the happiest days of my life," Harvey continued. "And I regret nothing."
"Can I ask why?" Jessica questioned softly, her eyes on you.
"We never wanted to put the firm in danger, in a different light," you answered. "If people knew- clients, other firms- we didn't want to risk changing the reputation of the firm."
Jessica gave an almost apologetic smile, knowing what you said had truth.
"Cats out of the bag now. I guess screw the firms reputation," Louis muttered loudly enough for everyone to hear.
"Louis-" Harvey began.
"The firm will be just fine," Jessica interrupted. "And I did mean congratulations really were in order." Her secretary seemed to hear everything, for several bottles of champagne were brought in with glasses for everyone.
"To Harvey and Y/N, may you have a lifetime of continued happiness together."
You looked at Harvey, clinking your champagne glasses together with smiles on your faces.
"Screw it," you heard him mutter, before quickly pressing his lips to yours.

can you do a harvey x reader where he asks her for help with a client and in doing so she gets hurt. she tries to keep it from him but she never shows up to talk to him. idek if this makes sense but thank you ❤️❤️
WARNING: BRUISING, BLOOD, DISCUSSION OF MAN HURTING WOMAN
A/N: I have them just flirty and not yet dating in this fic! Also, there will be a part two because we all deserve to see y/n and Harvey more
Tumblr media
“What can I do for you, Harvey?” You asked, heels clicking perfectly with the floor as you strut into his office.
“Joshua Hendricks, you know him?” He asked, leaning back in his chair.
“You mean the most powerful man in the health technology industry, and one of our biggest clients?” You questioned, though you were only stating facts.
“I need you to persuade him to do something,” Harvey said, eyeing you up and down in your tight, yet professional, dress.
“Persuade how?”
————-
Harvey glanced down at his watch, a frown taking over. It was fifteen past eight, and while you were known to occasionally be five minutes late, this simply wasn't you, and Harvey knew it.
Pulling out his phone, he quickly clicked your name and waited for your familiar voice. It never came. His jaw tightened while he switched gears.
"Donna, do you know if Y/N ever left from the office to come to dinner?"
"She never came back after that client meeting."
He tried to ignore the pit in his stomach. He'd asked you to see this client because you were beautiful, a senior partner, and had the willingness to sway a client with flirtation- something he hated as much as he loved. And he was beyond worried that you'd had a little...too much fun with the client.
Shaking his head, he stood and left the restaurant, heading back to the office. He needed something else to occupy his head.
Getting off of the elevator and heading down the darkened hallway, he sighed. Harvey always felt better working after hours with less people to bother him. His office always seemed more welcoming, more serene in the night. Walking in, he turned towards his records on the shelf, heart dropping at the sight.
"Oh my god," he blurted, seeing you sitting on his couch, holding your bruised wrist, a bit of blood on your arms. "What happened?"
"Harvey-"
"Who did this to you?"
"Harvey-"
"I swear, when I find him-"
"Harvey!" you shouted, effectively quieting him. As soon as he met your gaze, you burst into tears.
"Hey, Y/N," he murmured, moving quickly to sit on the table in front of you, taking a deep breath in and out before continuing, "Let me see."
Trying to calm your breathing, you held out your hands to him, letting him get a close look at the bruises encircling your wrist and the scrapes on your other. His jaw was set in a firm line and you could tell he was getting angrier by the second.
"What else hurts?"
You took a shaky breath before pulling the top of your dress slightly to the side, showing a few darkening bruises forming near your collarbone.
"Who? It was Joshua, wasn't it." It wasn't a question, it was an accusation, one you confirmed with fresh tears.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," Harvey whispered, his eyes filling with unshed tears. You shook your head.
"It wasn't your fault."
"I asked you to go, he never would have- I'm so sorry, Y/N." He gently brushed your hair out of your face, tucking it behind your ear. You couldn't stop the tears, no matter how hard you tried, and Harvey just leaned forward, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead.
How long you stayed like that, you didn’t know. But you finally sat up, wiping at your tears before accepting the tissue Harvey offered.
“Can I help clean you up?”
“I’m fine.”
“You’re bleeding.”
“It’s dried, it’ll wash off in the shower.”
He didn’t quite know what to say, so he stood and went over to grab you a glass of water.
“I’m sorry, I’m a bit on the defensive and I don’t know why,” you admitted.
“I would be surprised if you weren’t on the defensive.”
It was quiet for a moment, before he spoke again. “What do you want to do?”
“If we lose this client, the firm loses a lot.”
“I don’t give a damn about the firm.”
“Harvey, you and I both know that’s not true. You’re angry, so am I, but-“
“He can’t get away with it.”
“Get away with what?”
You both turned towards the door to see Jessica in the doorway, her bags and coat in hand. As soon as she got a good look at you, her face softened, she set her things down, and moved to sit on the couch next to you.
“Tell me what happened.”
Your eyes flickered to Harvey before settling back to meet her gaze. “The client, Joshua Hendricks, he thought he could get the case settled. I went to speak to him about making a statement and he didn’t like the idea very much.”
“He is no longer our client,” Jessica said simply.
“He brings in nearly a million dollars per week for us,” you responded.
“I don’t care. I will give him a call in the morning.”
“No,” Harvey interrupted. “Let me.”
Jessica looked at him, not even a hint of hesitation on her face while she nodded. “Take care of him.”
You both watched her go.
“What are you going to do to him?” You asked quietly.
“I don’t know,” Harvey answered honestly.
“I should go.”
“Let me take you. Please, Y/N.”
You were much too tired and hurt to argue. “Okay.”
———
You’d only been in Harvey’s apartment once before, when you had previously dropped off files while he was working from home after breaking his leg.
He gestured toward one of the counterstools. You took a seat, nodding to his quick ‘Be right back.’
When he came back a moment later with a first aid kit, you tilted your head. “I told you-“
“Please. Just let me take care of you.”
You nodded, feeling more vulnerable than you had in a while. Flirting with Harvey, teasing him- that was one thing. But sitting in front of him, in his apartment, while he cleaned the blood off of you and held ice packs to your wrist- that felt intimate.
He must have felt the same, because you could practically feel the emotions rolling off of him. He wouldn’t say anything, you both knew that, but you could tell he cared. You hadn’t missed the fear in his expression when he saw you sitting hurt on his office couch.
The two of you didn’t exchange a word while he took care of your bruises and blood.
“Keep the ice on,” he murmured, packing up the first aid kid and setting it back on the counter. “Drink?”
“Please. Something strong.”
“I wouldn’t have it any other way,” he replied, a hint of a smile playing at his lips. After he poured you a generous cup of scotch, he handed the glass to you, eyes focused once more on your bruises.
"I'm fine."
He just continued to stare, his jaw set once again.
"Thank you."
That caused him to soften.
"No one's ever-" you paused, gesturing towards the first aid kit- "done this for me before."
"I'm glad I could," he responded, before his brow furrowed. "Why didn't you call me?"
"I knew you'd be back at the office after I missed our dinner."
"How could you have possibly known that?"
"Because I know you, Harvey," you said gently. It was easier saying that, than saying you knew skipping dinner with him would hurt him.
"You know I know you too."
You tilted your head, eyebrows raised.
"The baths filling right now with warm water, with eucalyptus salts and bubbles."
"How did you-"
"Because I know you, Y/N." He'd moved closer, his knee touching yours where you still sat. You seemed to lose yourself in his eyes, feeling your heart pounding in your chest. You hadn't even realized he was closer until his lips were mere centimeters from yours.
"You can stop me, if you want," he whispered. He was being a gentleman, giving you an out. He wouldn't do it unless you specifically gave permission.
You didn't say anything, instead leaning forward to close the gap.

a fic about jealous harvey?
..thoughts?
A/N: jealous Harvey has me
Tumblr media
Harvey didn’t often feel the need to prove himself. He was a self-assured, confident, successful man. He got what he wanted and his biggest desire was you. You two had known each other for years, only realizing you would be a perfect couple in the last year. And in that time, Harvey had never felt jealous.
Except for now.
You were incredibly respectful of the relationship you had with Harvey. You used to flirt (among other things) with clients in order to get what you needed. Ever since you and Harvey had made things official, you’d stopped doing anything of the sort. But that didn’t stop clients from attempting to make advances on you.
Your boyfriend didn’t often feel concerned about the advances they attempted, because you respectfully always declined their offers for dinner, declined their offering of their arm when walking into the court house, etc. But Harvey couldn’t stop the anger bubbling inside of his chest when he saw Mark Daniels.
Mark Daniels was CEO of Harper National, a newfound AI company that had gained an enormous amount of legal attention in the past few months due to a battle over company rights. He was arrogant, charming, good-looking, and beyond wealthy. He was similar to Harvey, which is why your boyfriend was so angry.
Daniels was constantly trying to beat Harvey, holding your coat open for you when meetings had finished, grabbing you a coffee, tea, or water at the start of depositions, and buying you dinner every time he saw you, even if he had left the building before it was close to dinner time. The man had it delivered to your office, once even as you had sat down in Harvey’s office with the dinner he had bought for you.
The problem seemed to be that Harvey couldn’t just discuss his feelings with you, but instead decided he had to beat Mark at his own game, which meant that you were in the middle of a stupid men’s war.
“And can you be sure that-“ You stopped talking, confused as Harvey entered the conference room.
“I’m heading out, just wanted to quickly say ‘goodbye.”
“Oh, okay, goodbye Harvey,” you replied with a polite smile. It faltered when he moved around the conference table to bend down and press a kiss to your cheek.
“Harvey-“you began, a little shocked at the display of unprofessionalism.
“We’re in the middle of something, here,” Daniels spoke up.
Harvey opened his mouth to speak, but your eyes flashed dangerously at him and he shut his mouth. You watched as he sent a smirk towards Daniels as he walked out. It took everything you had in you not to yell at the two men. Sighing, you refocused on the documents in front of you.
——————
“Hey, sweetheart,” Harvey greeted as you walked into his apartment. He took one look at your face and furrowed his brow. “What’s wrong?”
“What’s wrong?” You asked, anger growing as you threw your bag into a nearby chair. “How about that display of ridiculous toxic masculinity you decided you needed to show earlier?”
“You mean in the conference room? I was just saying goodby-“
“No, you were trying to prove to the man what you think is yours, which I am not. I am not yours, I am not anybody’s and I know that man gets under your skin but you-“
“Get under my skin- the man tries to shove the fact that he wants you in my face!” Harvey argued, tossing the dish towel angrily onto the counter.
“But I don’t want him!”
“How am I supposed to believe that?”
“Because I am not going to leave, Harvey! Mark Daniels is not in your league! And he is certainly not attractive to me! He is not my boyfriend and I know that you are scared of losing me, scared that what we have will mean nothing, and I know why, but I am not what happened in your past. And I know you love me, even if you haven’t said anything.”
“How can you know that?” Your boyfriend asked, fear quickly flashing in his eyes before he masked it once more.
"Because I know who you are. I just know, Harvey," you deadpanned, your anger softening. "I know that you tell people we met at a bar because you want our meeting place to be intimate to just us. I know that you were sick when we went up north, but I knew you weren't ready to be that type of vulnerable with me that early in our relationship. I know that your favorite show isn't that law one you like, but actually Will and Grace. I know when you ask me to marry you, it will be because you can't hold it in anymore, and I know that on our wedding day you will say something ridiculous that will make me laugh and two seconds later you will say the most romantic thing I've ever heard. I know that you look not only at my ass and boobs, but at my stomach. I see the way your eyes soften, the way you stare, imagining me pregnant with your child. I know you, I know Harvey Specter. And the next time you get jealous, you remember that."
You finished your rant, slightly out of breath, chest heaving. A flurry of emotions crossed Harvey's face. He looked as though he was about to say something, but thought better of it. Instead he quickly crossed the few steps to you, his lips slamming into yours, arms coming around your waist, bringing you into him like his life depended on it.
Your hands moved up to his neck and hair while he picked you up easily. You could tell he was trying to do anything to get closer to you, like nothing would ever be close enough for him.
“You are the most amazing woman I have ever met,” he murmured against your lips.
“I know.”

hi! do you think you could make a story where harvey’s wife gets really sick at work after working on a case non stop and he has to take care of her? i loooove a good domestic harvey story :))
A/N: i love domestic fics and i loved this request!!!!! I’ll write more in the future I’m sure :) also the gif didn’t load before i chose it so we’ll see what random one we get
Tumblr media
You cleared your throat, signing the final documents for the case you’d just won. You’d been working non-stop and everyone in the office knew it. This case was personal, meaning you hadn’t trusted your personal associate with it. And that had meant you were the one working without sleep.
A knock at your glass door caught your attention.
“Congratulations are in order,” Jessica smiled.
“Thank you.”
Her eyes narrowed. “You worked yourself into the ground, didn’t you?”
“I’m fine.”
She laughed lightly. “Harvey won’t let that go like I will.”
“Well, he can suck my-“
“Feel better, Y/N,” Jessica interrupted, laughing. “And congratulations, again.”
You sighed after she left. The annoying need to sniffle every five seconds from your running nose and the constant itch in your throat was a sure sign that you had indeed run yourself into the ground.
———————
A few hours later you were freezing, one of your comfy blankets wrapped around you while you focused on finishing up last minute little jobs you hadn’t done due to preparing for trial.
“Someone told me you weren’t feeling well.”
You looked up from your computer, unable to stop the smile that formed, the same smile anytime you saw your husband.
“I’m fine,” you murmured, watching him walk around your desk to sit on the edge right next to your chair. You kept your face neutral while he analyzed you.
“You’re flushed, I can feel the heat radiating off of you, I can hear your breathing which means you have a stuffy nose, and your voice sounds hoarse.”
“So?” You retorted, crossing your arms. He rolled his eyes.
“So, you’re coming with me and I’m taking you home.”
“No.”
“Don’t argue with me, Y/N. You won your trial and now you need to rest.”
“Harvey-“
“Sweetheart, please.”
You sighed, giving in. You muffled a cough into your blanket, your husband brushing his hand across your forehead before tucking fallen hair behind your ear.
“What about your work?” You asked.
“I’m taking the rest of the day off,” he shrugged. “Mike can handle it.”
Your heart warmed. It wasn’t often your husband took a day off of work, especially not for something as simple as this.
“Thank you.”
“You don’t need to thank me,” he replied, shaking his head, before he stood. “Come on, let’s get your coat.”
You stood, shrugging off your cozy blanket and moving right into your wool coat Harvey had open and ready for you. He grabbed your scarf, wrapping it snugly around your neck. He pressed a kiss to your cheek and grabbed your bag, letting his hand rest on your lower back as he guided you out of your office and down the hall towards the elevators.
Donna caught up with you on the way, giving your arm a brief squeeze, mouthing ‘feel better.’
“Donna, canc-“
“All of your meetings for the day are canceled, Mike has been made aware, and he asked me to pass along ‘feel better and congrats on the trial.”
Harvey nodded his approval.
“Thanks, Donna,” you smiled. She winked before moving to stand directly in front of Harvey, stopping you both effectively in your tracks.
“If you don’t nurse her back to full health, I will personally make sure Louis ends up alone in your office and touches all of your records.”
Harvey gave a pointed look. “I swear to you, Donna, I will make sure she gets back to full health.”
“That’s what I needed to hear.” With that, she left.
“Ever since you came to this firm, people suddenly prefer you to me,” your husband wondered aloud.
“Can you really blame them?” You teased.
“No, I can’t,” Harvey answered simply, hitting the elevator button.
—————
“What is that smell?” You questioned, wandering into the kitchen.
“I’m surprised you can smell at all,” Harvey replied. “It’s soup.”
“I can smell a little bit, and that is one good-smelling soup.” You sat down at one of the counter stools, watching your husband stirring the large pot on the stove, his laptop open on the counter next to him.
“Harvey, if you have work, you don’t need to stay here and take care of me.”
He turned, wiping his hands on the towel next to the sink. “It’s just the recipe.”
He turned to remove the pot from the hot burner before coming over to you.
“You’re not as flushed,” - his hand came to rest on your forehead- “and you’re fever is down.”
“So why do I feel worse?” You asked quietly. His brow furrowed before he moved closer, his arms circling around you, letting you burrow your face into his chest.
It wasn’t easy for either of you to show vulnerability, something you were both trying to work on since you both cared so much about the other.
“Why don’t I get you a bowl of soup and then we can cuddle in bed and watch whatever show you want.”
You nodded, hesitantly pulling away from him. Before he went back to the stove he hooked a finger under your jaw and lifted your chin up, leaning down. You put a hand on his chest, stopping him.
“You’ll get sick.”
“I don’t care.” He closed the gap easily, your hand moving from his chest up to his neck. His lips met yours for a moment before moving to your cheek and your forehead and your nose.
“I love you, Harvey Specter.”
“I love you, Y/N Specter.”

Pressing Charges
WARNING: TALK OF BEING MUGGED
A/N: This has been sitting in my drafts for so long!!!!
Tumblr media
"And she's been saying that Y/N has been yelling at her left and right and on top of that she, I think, might not pass the-"
"What did you say?" Harvey interrupted, listening just barely enough for that snippet to catch his attention.
"Y/N has been yelling at her?" Mike questioned.
"Y/N has been yelling?"
"Yeah, at her first year associate. Anyway," Mike kept rambling and Harvey didn't listen one bit. You never yelled. The only time you ever raised your voice was when someone attacked somebody you cared about. And the fact that you were yelling did not sit right with Harvey at all.
-----
The day seem to drag on as Harvey stared at the clock. The office wouldn't get empty enough for him until 7pm and he knew you'd still be in your cozy corner office a hall down from him way past 7.
He couldn't risk seeing you during the day. The only person who knew him and you were growing closer was Donna, and Harvey knew she could keep a secret. Donna always knew what was going on in the office-
Harvey shook his head, frustrated that he didn't think of it earlier. Pressing the button on the intercom, he waited for her familiar voice. "Donna, can you come in here please?"
"What's up?" Donna asked as she plopped a seat in the chair across from Harvey's.
"Have you heard anything about Y/N?"
Donna looked a little nervous.
"Donna," he pushed, giving her a pointed look that meant he would not ask again.
"Someone heard her on the phone with someone talking about pressing charges."
Harvey's face turned more serious than it had been. "Did someone hurt her?"
"I'm sorry, I don't know, I wish I did."
"Thanks, Donna."
--------
As soon as enough people had left for the day, Harvey made his way down the hall, pausing in the doorway to your office, his heart breaking just a bit at the site. Your head was in your hands, one of your cream-colored blankets draped around your shoulders, and Harvey could only assume that the soft sniffle you gave was from crying.
You picked your head up a moment later, seemingly finally sensing a presence.
"What do you wa- Harvey," your tone softened at his name, eyes going from steely to tired.
"Hey," he greeted softly, finally stepping into your office and shutting the door behind him. He paused for a moment, not quite sure on the best course of action before you burst into tears. The man moved swiftly around your desk towards you. You waisted no time in wrapping your arms around him, burying your face into the jacket of his suit.
"Talk to me, sweetheart."
You pulled away enough to be able to speak, him moving to rest against the edge of your desk.
“Last night, I decided to walk instead of take a car.”
Harvey bit his tongue. You were at least a fifteen to twenty minute walk from the office and he knew for a fact that you hadn’t left while it was still light outside.
“I had made it almost halfway home when some guy came up behind me and hit me and tried to get my bag. I turned to fight,” -Harvey let out a small sigh, which you ignored- “and he pulled out a gun.”
“Y/N.”
You brushed away a stray tear and continued. “I must be the luckiest woman in the world, because there was a cop nearby, who pulled out his gun. The man was shot, he’s in the hospital currently.”
“My god,” Harvey said quietly. You hummed.
“I’m pressing charges, but I can’t get it out of my head.”
“Did you talk to your therapist about it?”
“How do you know I have a therapist?” You questioned, a small smile toying at your lips.
He shrugged. “I know everything.”
“You are not Donna,” you giggled.
“Nor would I ever dream to be.” You both laughed before it got quiet.
“I’m seeing my therapist tomorrow to talk about it.”
“Good. I hope it helps. If you need anything-“
“You’ll be the first one I go to,” you admitted softly. Harvey felt his chest tighten.
“The first?”
“Is that okay?”
“I’d be honored… It’s late, Y/N.”
You glanced at your computer screen, which read 9:24pm.
“I should get going, and so should you.”
Harvey stood and walked to where you had thrown your coat over the couch in the corner. You blushed when he held it open for you, cheeks reddening further when he gently pulled your hair out from under the warm material, his fingers brushing ever so lightly against the back of your neck.
“Let me walk you out. Did you call Frank?”
You nodded. “He should be pulling up any second.”
You followed Harvey to his office, watching him throw his coat on and pack up his bag. You felt a sadness inside, and you weren’t quite sure why. Maybe you didn’t want to say goodnight to him just yet.
“Ready?” He asked.
“Definitely.”
The two of you walked side by side towards the elevators, riding down in silence, both exhausted by the day. After you exited the elevator and made your way through the revolving door to the building, you felt Harvey’s hand on your back, providing the security you needed to feel safe. He walked you to your car, Frank standing at the driver’s side, watching the pedestrians walk by with narrowed eyes. Harvey felt better knowing your driver was someone who cared about you too.
“Ms. Y/L/N,” Frank greeted.
“Hi, Frank, thank you.”
Harvey moved to open the backseat door for you, offering his hand to help you into the car. You took it, but didn’t get in, instead choosing to look at him.
“Thank you,” you whispered, hoping your depth of your gratitude was evident.
“Of course, sweetheart. Get home safe.”
You bit your lower lip, not missing the way his eyes flickered to it. He looked like he wanted to lean in, so did you, but you just gave a small smile and leaned up and around to press a kiss to his cheek.
“Goodnight, Harvey,” you murmured, before stepping into the car and taking a graceful seat.
“Goodnight.” He shut the door once he made sure you were clear and you didn’t miss his smile as you pulled into the streets of the city.

(i truly do not know if this makes any sense at all whatsoever)
A/N: I LOVE THISSSSSSSSS
Tumblr media
"You shouldn't have given it to me," you laughed, holding his Black Amex in one hand, your phone in the other.
"Well, I knew it would be safe if you had it in your purse."
You hummed, knowing he had a point and appreciating the compliment.
"I know it's a lot to ask, but I really need it for this client meeting," Harvey continued.
"You are lucky that I have a break," you replied, already reaching for your purse.
“Thank you, sweetheart. I’ll see you soon.”
Hanging up and throwing your phone in your purse you grabbed your coat and scarf and headed out the door.
——-
As soon as you’d exited the elevator you were greeted by Donna.
“Donna!” You exclaimed warmly, a little shocked when she pulled you in for a hug.
“You are my favorite person,” she said, looking serious.
“Why?” You giggled.
“Harvey actually told Mike he was proud of him this morning.”
“No,” you gasped, starting your walk towards Harvey's office.
“It’s because you put him in a good mood.”
“Glad to be of service,” you replied with a smirk.
"Oh, I'm sure you ar- Mike, how are you?"
"Y/N, what are you doing here?" your brother asked, pulling you in for a hug.
"Unfortunately, not for you big brother."
A small choke from behind you made you turn. Your face softened at your boyfriend's apparent shock.
"Big brother?" he asked once he'd cleared his throat.
"You didn't know?" Mike questioned, his expression nearly matching Harvey's.
"I wasn't told," he responded, his tone cold, giving you a steely gaze before walking away.
"Shit," you muttered, before going after him. You waited until you’d both entered his office and closed the door before speaking.
“Harvey, I’m sorry, I thought you knew.”
“Bullshit, and you know it.”
“We never tried to hide it,” you responded.
“And you never exactly told me either.”
“I couldn’t let it ruin him,” you said softly.
“Mike?” Harvey questioned, confused.
“He was worried it would change things between you. He was worried you’d refuse to work with him.”
He sighed. “Do you really think I’d do that?”
“I don’t know how you two work.”
“I would never fire Mike because-“
“I didn’t say fire, Harvey. Tell me this isn’t going to affect the relationship you two have.”
“Relationship?” He scoffed. “We work together, Y/N.”
“You care about him,” you replied, “Whether you admit it or not.”
“Fine,” he sighed, “you win.”
“It’s not always about winning,” you murmured, moving over to him and gently fixing the lapels of his jacket. “I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay. Does this mean I have to see him at family dinners?”
“Who said you were invited to family dinners?” You smirked, your heart warming at the thought of Harvey thinking about such a thing. Tugging lightly on his jacket, he understood and leaned down to press his lips to yours.
He only realized after you’d left that he’d forgotten to ask for his card, until he’d looked at his desk and saw it sitting there with a sticky note saying ‘I love you.’

Okay hi it’s me AGAINNNN 😌 I was wondering if eventually you could write something where reader and Harvey (who are literally the best of the best at what they do) both work at different firms and they have to go against each other in court for a really big case. Anyways reader is Harvey’s wife who’s pregnant and goes into labor at the court house. Happy ending please 🙏.
A/N: I am so sorry if this is not what you had in mind- it's not as fluffy of a fit but I guess it's something! I can always write the same request a different way in the future :)
Tumblr media
"Okay, let's go over it one more time," Mike said, staring at the file of key arguments in front of him.
"You do know you work for the opposite firm, right?" you chuckled, taking a deep breath in and out. You couldn't quite explain it but something had been... off... today. Granted, you were 37 weeks pregnant so you pretty much always felt off but this felt different.
"Just say it," the young partner responded.
"Okay, so- your client clearly had no idea what he was-" you paused, gasping at the sharp pain in your lower abdomen, hand coming to rest at the low curve under your bump.
"Hey, Y/N, you okay?" Mike questioned, not even hiding the panic in his voice. No one could blame him, he certainly was not experienced when it came to pregnancy.
"It's just Braxton-hicks," you muttered, teeth clenched while you took deep breaths in and out. You tried to think of someone at the firm who was in court who had had a baby who could confirm that, but no names came to mind. Hating that you were about to say it, you groaned internally. "Get Harvey."
That was all Mike needed to hear before genuinely sprinting from the room.
----
"Mike, you were supposed to be here thirty minutes ago," Harvey greeted angrily.
"I was with Y/N, she-"
"You mean to tell me you were with the opposing team!?"
"No, Harvey, she's in pain, she needs-" Mike panted.
That's all it took for you husband to be racing out the door, thankful Mike had yelled 'across the hall- chamber- while he sprinted.
By the time your husband had made it into the room, you had been able to stand, the pain in your pelvis a small ache compared to what it had been. You were breathing steadily, your hand still holding a small portion of the weight your daughter added to your frame.
"Sweetheart, what-"
"I'm fine," you murmured, "I'm sorry I panicked, I just didn't- I haven't"
"You haven't been pregnant before," Harvey finished. "Neither have I, so I'm not much help."
You laughed, even the small action causing a small ache. He must have seen the expression on your face because he came to cup your cheek.
"Are you alright?"
"I think so," you replied softly. "I must have just been working too hard on the trial."
"You should be at home resting."
"You know perfectly well that I can handle a trial against you," you replied cheekily. It wasn't a secret that you were both two of the top lawyers in the city, and the trial certainly would be a show for all who were watching.
"So we're not having a baby girl?" your husband asked, his hands gently holding your rather large bump.
"Not yet," you corrected with a smile.
"Then I've got to get back," Harvey said sadly, before lowering and pressing a chaste kiss to your bump.
"Did you ever think I did this just so you had less time to prepare?" you smirked.
"Sweetheart, you wouldn't dare."
-----
"No further questions, your honor," Harvey announced, lips twitching at the thought of winning his case after the arguments he had given.
You stood. "Your honor, if you will just allow me to question-" you paused, both your words and your steps as the same sharp pain from earlier hit.
"Ms. Y/L/N?" the judge asked.
"Sorry, I-" you couldn't finish, needing to lean against the table for support, gritting your teeth. "I need-"
"Y/N-" Harvey said gently, rising.
"Harvey-" you paused, feeling a wetness spread down your legs. The pure shock on your face while you looked down was enough of a sign to your husband.
"Oh my god, she's in labor," Harvey muttered, Mike going pale next to him.
"Labor?"
"We're going to pause the trial," the judge announced. Even he had no idea what to do. He certainly had never, in all his years seen a defense and prosecuting team of lawyers be married and close to having their first child while in a court room.
Your husband came to rub your back while you still stood hunched over the desk. "What can I do?"
"I don't know," you whispered, the realization that you were having a baby overwhelming every fiber of your being. "We don't even have a bag packed for the hospital."
The two of you had been non-stop for nearly two months, working on opposite sides of what would be on the of the biggest trials the city had ever seen.
"Yes, you do," Mike interrupted. "Donna's had it packed for weeks."
Tears fell down your cheeks out of relief and gratitude.
"God, I love that woman," Harvey murmured, helping to turn you around towards him. "You can do this, sweetheart." He gently cupped your cheek and wiped your tears with his thumb.
You nodded, taking a moment to lean your forehead against his chest, the smell of his cologne comforting you.
"Are you ready?"
"As long as you swear you won't leave my side," you whispered.
"Never."

Hii ! I’ve been absolutely loving your fics and I’m so glad there’s another writer writing Harvey x Reader !!
I was wondering if you could write a fic that involved the reader being a lawyer in another firm dealing with a tough case that’s been on their mind 24/7, then during the night one day, Harvey wakes up in the middle of the night and the reader isn’t in bed but is in the kitchen or something because they can’t sleep. Maybe Harvey consoles the reader and tries to convince them to go back to bed or pulls a “if you’re staying up, i am too.” even though he’s sleepy.
Just a overall idea/prompt :) do what you’d like! have fun with it, cause i love your writing 🙌🏼
A/N: I went so so soft writing this and Harvey did too aoifjaeofijaofeij
Tumblr media
"Good morning," you greeted, picking up the call from Harvey.
"Will you come over tonight?" Harvey asked. Your heart broke a bit, knowing you'd told him no the past three nights. Work had been stressing you out and you hadn't really even been sleeping except for a couple hours each night. Last night you hadn't even gone home from the office. Maybe you did need a break, and you certainly wanted to see the handsome man you'd been dating for the past month.
"Yes."
"Good."
You couldn't help but smile and give a little laugh. "I'll see you tonight, Harvey."
"Have a good day, Y/N."
-------
You sighed, staring up at Harvey's bedroom ceiling, unable to sleep. You had had a wonderful evening with the man lying asleep next to you, but your thoughts were still swirling.
You weren't quite sure how you were going to win this one. A certain confidentiality agreement your client had stupidly decided to sign was proving to be the biggest annoyance and a roadblock to your obvious win.
Sighing once more, you carefully slid out from under the covers and padded barefoot to the kitchen where your work bag sat. Pulling your laptop out, you tucked your feet up under you on the couch and went to work.
"Sweetheart?"
A smile fell on your lips hearing Harvey's voice, full of sleep, slightly husky. You looked up at him, setting your laptop to the side.
"I'm sorry, I just couldn't sleep."
"How are you going to win a case if you've run yourself ragged?"
"Okay, you have a point," you sighed, eyeing your laptop before shutting it.
"That's what I like to see."
You almost stood and let him lead you back to bed, but your anxiety hit.
"I can't," you murmured, an apologetic expression forming.
"What- you just told me," he tried to fight.
"I'm sorry, I have to work."
"So I can't get you back to bed?" he huffed. You stood, making your way over to him, goosebumps erupting at the feeling of his hand lightly running up and down your arm.
"You can get me back to bed once I finish this case," you whispered before wrapping your arms around him and giving him a light kiss. He took a deep breath in and out before giving you a pointed look.
"Then I'm staying up with you."
"No, you most certainly are not," you retorted, removing yourself from his embrace and crossing your arms.
"Can't stop me," he said, moving to the kitchen to grab a glass of water, yawning.
"You're ti-" you stopped, knowing he would just same the same back to you.
"That's what I thought," he smirked, plopping down on the couch. You sat down next to him, pulling your laptop onto your lap.
"Will it bother you if I put on TV?"
You shook your head, appreciating the ask and the way his hand briefly squeezed your knee.
For the next hour, the two of you continued to fight sleep, you having to shake your head a few times in an attempt to refocus your eyes, and Harvey's eyes drooping several times, head falling slightly before picking himself back up. You were beginning to feel beyond guilty about causing him to lose sleep, but a weight against your shoulder had you smiling.
You looked down to see Harvey fast asleep, eyes closed, soft snores starting to come from him. Though it might have made you more tired, you felt more awake, trying not to wake him.
And when he shook you awake an hour later, dragging you both back to bed, you knew he was the perfect man for you.
