OK so I just started watching Suits to see what the big deal was. And then I started shipping these two. I came to tumblr and surprise, I wasn't the only one to ship them? It felt validating.
So anyways, I was just watching this scene and maybe someone might have said this already, but in this scene Mike does not tie his bowtie properly. And we kind of know he didn't use to own suits of his own or didn't wear them much. So it's safe to assume he didn't actually tie his own bowtie when he came out of the car.
And now I can't just stop imagining Harvey leaning across the seat, getting real close as he fiddles with Mike's bowtie. Tying it with practiced fingers, his knuckles brushing Mike's upturned neck.
It's just too much...help! These two have so much more chemistry than their potential love interest and it's crazy.

WARNING: BRUISING, BLOOD, DISCUSSION OF MAN HURTING WOMAN
A/N: I have them just flirty and not yet dating in this fic! Also, there will be a part two because we all deserve to see y/n and Harvey more
Tumblr media
“What can I do for you, Harvey?” You asked, heels clicking perfectly with the floor as you strut into his office.
“Joshua Hendricks, you know him?” He asked, leaning back in his chair.
“You mean the most powerful man in the health technology industry, and one of our biggest clients?” You questioned, though you were only stating facts.
“I need you to persuade him to do something,” Harvey said, eyeing you up and down in your tight, yet professional, dress.
“Persuade how?”
————-
Harvey glanced down at his watch, a frown taking over. It was fifteen past eight, and while you were known to occasionally be five minutes late, this simply wasn't you, and Harvey knew it.
Pulling out his phone, he quickly clicked your name and waited for your familiar voice. It never came. His jaw tightened while he switched gears.
"Donna, do you know if Y/N ever left from the office to come to dinner?"
"She never came back after that client meeting."
He tried to ignore the pit in his stomach. He'd asked you to see this client because you were beautiful, a senior partner, and had the willingness to sway a client with flirtation- something he hated as much as he loved. And he was beyond worried that you'd had a little...too much fun with the client.
Shaking his head, he stood and left the restaurant, heading back to the office. He needed something else to occupy his head.
Getting off of the elevator and heading down the darkened hallway, he sighed. Harvey always felt better working after hours with less people to bother him. His office always seemed more welcoming, more serene in the night. Walking in, he turned towards his records on the shelf, heart dropping at the sight.
"Oh my god," he blurted, seeing you sitting on his couch, holding your bruised wrist, a bit of blood on your arms. "What happened?"
"Harvey-"
"Who did this to you?"
"Harvey-"
"I swear, when I find him-"
"Harvey!" you shouted, effectively quieting him. As soon as he met your gaze, you burst into tears.
"Hey, Y/N," he murmured, moving quickly to sit on the table in front of you, taking a deep breath in and out before continuing, "Let me see."
Trying to calm your breathing, you held out your hands to him, letting him get a close look at the bruises encircling your wrist and the scrapes on your other. His jaw was set in a firm line and you could tell he was getting angrier by the second.
"What else hurts?"
You took a shaky breath before pulling the top of your dress slightly to the side, showing a few darkening bruises forming near your collarbone.
"Who? It was Joshua, wasn't it." It wasn't a question, it was an accusation, one you confirmed with fresh tears.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," Harvey whispered, his eyes filling with unshed tears. You shook your head.
"It wasn't your fault."
"I asked you to go, he never would have- I'm so sorry, Y/N." He gently brushed your hair out of your face, tucking it behind your ear. You couldn't stop the tears, no matter how hard you tried, and Harvey just leaned forward, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead.
How long you stayed like that, you didn’t know. But you finally sat up, wiping at your tears before accepting the tissue Harvey offered.
“Can I help clean you up?”
“I’m fine.”
“You’re bleeding.”
“It’s dried, it’ll wash off in the shower.”
He didn’t quite know what to say, so he stood and went over to grab you a glass of water.
“I’m sorry, I’m a bit on the defensive and I don’t know why,” you admitted.
“I would be surprised if you weren’t on the defensive.”
It was quiet for a moment, before he spoke again. “What do you want to do?”
“If we lose this client, the firm loses a lot.”
“I don’t give a damn about the firm.”
“Harvey, you and I both know that’s not true. You’re angry, so am I, but-“
“He can’t get away with it.”
“Get away with what?”
You both turned towards the door to see Jessica in the doorway, her bags and coat in hand. As soon as she got a good look at you, her face softened, she set her things down, and moved to sit on the couch next to you.
“Tell me what happened.”
Your eyes flickered to Harvey before settling back to meet her gaze. “The client, Joshua Hendricks, he thought he could get the case settled. I went to speak to him about making a statement and he didn’t like the idea very much.”
“He is no longer our client,” Jessica said simply.
“He brings in nearly a million dollars per week for us,” you responded.
“I don’t care. I will give him a call in the morning.”
“No,” Harvey interrupted. “Let me.”
Jessica looked at him, not even a hint of hesitation on her face while she nodded. “Take care of him.”
You both watched her go.
“What are you going to do to him?” You asked quietly.
“I don’t know,” Harvey answered honestly.
“I should go.”
“Let me take you. Please, Y/N.”
You were much too tired and hurt to argue. “Okay.”
———
You’d only been in Harvey’s apartment once before, when you had previously dropped off files while he was working from home after breaking his leg.
He gestured toward one of the counterstools. You took a seat, nodding to his quick ‘Be right back.’
When he came back a moment later with a first aid kit, you tilted your head. “I told you-“
“Please. Just let me take care of you.”
You nodded, feeling more vulnerable than you had in a while. Flirting with Harvey, teasing him- that was one thing. But sitting in front of him, in his apartment, while he cleaned the blood off of you and held ice packs to your wrist- that felt intimate.
He must have felt the same, because you could practically feel the emotions rolling off of him. He wouldn’t say anything, you both knew that, but you could tell he cared. You hadn’t missed the fear in his expression when he saw you sitting hurt on his office couch.
The two of you didn’t exchange a word while he took care of your bruises and blood.
“Keep the ice on,” he murmured, packing up the first aid kid and setting it back on the counter. “Drink?”
“Please. Something strong.”
“I wouldn’t have it any other way,” he replied, a hint of a smile playing at his lips. After he poured you a generous cup of scotch, he handed the glass to you, eyes focused once more on your bruises.
"I'm fine."
He just continued to stare, his jaw set once again.
"Thank you."
That caused him to soften.
"No one's ever-" you paused, gesturing towards the first aid kit- "done this for me before."
"I'm glad I could," he responded, before his brow furrowed. "Why didn't you call me?"
"I knew you'd be back at the office after I missed our dinner."
"How could you have possibly known that?"
"Because I know you, Harvey," you said gently. It was easier saying that, than saying you knew skipping dinner with him would hurt him.
"You know I know you too."
You tilted your head, eyebrows raised.
"The baths filling right now with warm water, with eucalyptus salts and bubbles."
"How did you-"
"Because I know you, Y/N." He'd moved closer, his knee touching yours where you still sat. You seemed to lose yourself in his eyes, feeling your heart pounding in your chest. You hadn't even realized he was closer until his lips were mere centimeters from yours.
"You can stop me, if you want," he whispered. He was being a gentleman, giving you an out. He wouldn't do it unless you specifically gave permission.
You didn't say anything, instead leaning forward to close the gap.

Christmas War
Tumblr media
[Harvey Specter x Female!Reader]
Synopsis: In what started as a harmless joke, turned into a full obliteration. And it’s all thanks to Harvey.
WC: 2893
Category: Mega Fluff
Since it’s now officially December, I thought I would start the holidays off right with a fluffy Harvey fic. Enjoy.
『••✎••』
Harvey was many things: A partner, a best friend, a family member...But none of those things mattered as much as you did at this moment. You practically glowed like an angel as you slept soundly in his bed, his white button-up shirt laying over your bare chest like a blanket, protecting you from the slight chill that lingered in the apartment.
He felt a little bad, just slightly, for what he was about to do, but the idea was too embedded in his mind now for him to stop. So, he slowly lifted a hand to your arm, gently shaking you awake.
"Mmmm..." you groaned quietly, the sound soft and angelic. It sent a wave of heat through him that he wasn't sure he could handle, but he was determined to see it through.
"Good morning, sleepyhead," He said a little louder, and you finally blinked your eyes open. They were a little cloudy as you looked around in a daze, your mouth slack as you yawned.
"Morning..." You mumbled, blinking as Harvey's shirt slid down your chest a bit more. It took you a moment to register Harvey hovering over you in the dimly lit room, but as soon as you did, you sat up and quickly pulled the shirt through your arms, wearing it like you were supposed to.
That’s when you noticed the small tray in his hands. He had a plate of eggs and toast, some coffee and orange juice, as well as a large bouquet of amaryllis.
"What’s all this?" You asked as you tried to compose yourself. Harvey sat down on the bed next to you, placing the tray between you.
"I made you breakfast." He said simply, smiling a little at you.
"Yeah... I can see that. But why?" You asked, looking between him and the tray. "It's not even 7 o'clock, and I'm sure you haven't even been awake that long..." You glanced at the coffee. "Or had enough coffee to be up before me."
Harvey chuckled and rubbed the back of his head.
"Well, I figured since you’re big on that Christmas stuff, you deserved to have breakfast in bed, with flowers, just like the movies," he smiled and shrugged, "I thought it would be romantic, but if you don't think so... I’ll just..."
“No, no, I like it, I love it... Give it to me." You laughed a little, taking the tray from Harvey.
You picked up the flowers and brought them to your nose, inhaling their sweet scent. Harvey was always doing things like this for you, whether it be helping you with your writing or just spending a quiet night in with a book and some tea. You never felt more at home than when you were with Harvey, and he was always so kind and gentle to you, so it wasn't exactly surprising that he'd be a romantic at heart.
“Oh, Harvey, you shouldn't have..." you smiled at him as you set the flowers down, taking up your toast and a slice of egg.
"Yeah, well, I wanted to," he grinned a bit, "I like making you smile."
You chuckled a little, chewing on your food.
"That's good to hear," you said with your mouth full, "Because I like it when you do."
He gave you a soft smile, and your heart fluttered as he ran a hand through your hair. Soft, gentle fingers as he brushed your bangs aside.
"Good..." He whispered.
You placed your hand on top of his as he brought it down to your cheek, gently stroking it with his thumb as he leaned down to kiss you softly. You smiled against his lips, wrapping your arms around his shoulders as you kissed him back. He pulled back to look at you, his brown eyes glowing as they stared into your own.
"Make sure to have a taste of that coffee while it's hot," he whispered as he rested his forehead on yours, "I made it just how you like it."
Your cheeks were rosy, and your heart was racing. You giggled a little and looked up at him through your lashes, opening your mouth to say something.
But he just shoved the coffee into your hand, taking your fork from you to cut up your eggs for you.
"And have some of this, too," he said as he cut up a piece of toast, "You’re going to need this after that…”
“After what?”
The question seemed so far off, but it was answered when you decided to finally take a sip of the coffee he made you.
You spat it out into the mug, coughing a little as it burned your throat. You wheezed as Harvey patted your back, laughing at you a little.
"What's wrong?!" He asked, sounding concerned, but you knew he wasn’t. He had that mischievous glint in his eye that meant he was up to no good.
You shoved the cup at him, scowling as he took it from your hands.
"I can't believe you..." you coughed, "I thought you were being serious."
Harvey's smile only grew as he sipped his coffee, humming to himself.
"Oh, I am," he said as he leaned down, kissing your cheek, "I think you’re just being a bit… salty."
You groaned in annoyance and tried to get up, but Harvey caught your arms in his hands, pinning you back down in place.
"Salt? Why would you—"
"Because you're always so sweet with your words... I thought it would be nice if you had a taste of what you put out… down there," he smirked, and you couldn't help but blush a bit.
"Harvey! That is so gross," you whined as you covered your face with your hands.
"Mm, yeah, but it's hot."
"Oh, my God..."
He laughed again as he pulled you close to him, and you sighed. You knew he wasn't going to let you leave the bed, so you just gave in to him, snuggling closer as you watched him take another sip of his coffee, the non-tainted one.
The warmth of his body seeped into yours, and the scent of his cologne surrounded you, and you felt at ease with him. He always smelt so good.
Your eyes traveled down his torso, stopping at the bottom of his shirt. You traced the outline of his waistband with your eyes, wanting to move further down, but you stopped yourself.
"You know what, this is war.”
He grinned and sat back, leaning against the headboard.
"Is that so?" He asked, holding out your cup for you to take. "I hope you're prepared to lose, then."
You smacked it away, causing him to laugh at you again, but you held determination in your eyes. You took a moment to compose yourself before you crawled over him, placing a kiss on his lips.
"You underestimate me," you whispered against his mouth, "You haven't seen what I'm capable of..."
"Oh yeah?" he grinned, "Then I guess I should take you down now while I can."
He wrapped his arms around you as you kissed him again, parting your lips as you ran your tongue along his bottom lip. You gasped softly when he pulled you closer; your bodies pressed together as you fell into the mattress, Harvey's body on top of you. The tray was long forgotten as he broke away from your mouth to kiss down your neck and chest, his hands running under the shirt he let you borrow.
You didn’t forget about the salt incident when that morning came to pass, though. The thought of revenge was engrained in the back of your mind that entire week, attempting to come up with the perfect plan—the perfect revenge. You had an idea, but you definitely needed help, so you called the two people who you knew would take every opportunity to ruin Harvey's life if they could...
And then the day came, the day just before Christmas Eve. Harvey, as usual, strolled into the firm, not a care in the world. At least, not until he came upon his office.
“What the hell is…? Donna? What is this?!" Harvey was standing in the doorway of his office, looking at his desk.
The once clean, neat desk was now covered in complete decorations, lights, tinsel, and a bright red bow on his computer. Not to mention how the desk was wrapped in several rolls of shiny, green gift wrap paper.
"A Christmas gift, obviously," Donna said, not even bothering to look up from her paperwork.
He walked inside, and that’s when he realized it wasn’t just his desk. It was everything. The walls were decorated with wrapping paper, some of the framed pictures on the wall had been taken out of their frames, placed into small red boxes and set on top of the filing cabinet. God, even his signed basketballs.
"Donna, what the hell is all this?!" He asked, a hint of panic in his voice.
"I told you. A Christmas gift." She replied as if it was the simplest thing in the world.
"Why?! When did you even—"
“Look at the ceiling; that’s my favorite part. The lights are so pretty!"
He looked up at the ceiling, his eyes wide. It wasn't just tinsel, lights, and wrapping paper.
It was Louis. Everywhere.
Louis’ face covered every inch of the ceiling. His mouth open in a smile with a Santa hat that was photoshopped on his head. It was the worst thing he could think of, and yet, somehow, it was the most impressive thing at the same time. It was a conundrum.
“That one was my idea.” Mike came in with his own grin on his face, taking a bite out of a donut, the red frosting dripping off the side as he held it in his hand.
"…You’re in on this? I can't believe you two..." Harvey dropped his bag to the floor, falling into his chair and just staring at the decorations.
"You do realize what this is, right?" Mike asked, looking up at the ceiling with humor in his eyes.
"This is me being punished,” Harvey sighed. He looked to the door, expecting you to pop out at any minute, but you never did.
Donna smirked a little and looked over at him, "It’s not over yet."
"I have a feeling I'm about to find that out," Harvey mumbled under his breath as she walked out.
"Merry Christmas, Harvey!" Donna called as she left his office, and he could only roll his eyes.
The day passed slowly, and Harvey couldn't take his eyes off Louis, who was smiling down on him all day, even if he was so far away. Every time he tried to do his paperwork, read, or work on a case, Louis' face was just there, staring at him. It was both horrifying and brilliant.
And yet, somehow, he kept going until it was just after 9. He was finishing up his work for the day, just as he normally would. He was almost done, in fact, but he heard the familiar click of Donna's heels coming up to his door. He didn't even have to look up at her to know she had you with her; he could practically hear the giggles.
"Come in," he sighed.
Donna opened the door, holding it open for you to walk in first, and then she shut it behind her, leaving you in the room alone with him.
You were wearing a long, black winter coat that was too large for your small frame, but it looked good on you nonetheless. Your hands were hidden in your pockets as you looked up at him, smiling and biting your lip.
"Merry Christmas, Harvey." You said sweetly, walking over to his desk.
"Yeah, Merry Christmas to you too." He sighed as he leaned back in his chair, taking a look at the clock on his wall. It was also wrapped in your Christmas paper, but this one had snowflakes on it.
“How’d you get Jessica to allow this? She’s usually so strict on this stuff."
You laughed quietly and shrugged your shoulders.
"She liked it. She thought it was a good idea," you bit your lip a little, "It was pretty easy, actually."
"You mean you begged her until she agreed to do this to me?" He smirked.
"That's right. But it was worth it, wasn't it?" You smiled, reaching into your coat pocket. You pulled out a small box of wrapping paper with shiny green bows on it.
"What is that?" He asked, pointing at it.
"I don't know, but I bet it's pretty amazing," you grinned, placing it down on the desk in front of him. “Guess you have to open it and find out."
Harvey slowly leaned forward, taking the box in his hands. He had a feeling he knew what it was before he even unwrapped it, and he could only sigh.
Sure enough, it was exactly what he figured—a small bag of the finest Epstein salt, just for him.
"So, what'd you think?" You asked with a proud grin, and he smiled up at you.
"I think this is the most elaborate, disgusting, amazing thing I've ever seen in my life."
“Just wait til you see the apartment. It's a Christmas wonderland," you laughed as you watched Harvey’s face turn into complete horror.
That face of horror returned the second he unlocked the keys to his apartment. You had taken him there to show him what you did before your dinner reservations, and you knew what was coming.
He opened the door, and you weren't lying. You had decorated every inch of the apartment, using decorations he wouldn't have expected, but you were so thorough that it was like every room had its own theme.
The living room, kitchen, bathroom, and even his bedroom had its own theme of Christmas decorations, and Harvey's jaw nearly hit the floor. You were able to get Mike during the day when he went to see Rachel, and he did the ceilings and walls while you went around all the furniture.
It looked like you were on a Christmas vacation, in fact. There was so much to take in, so much to see, so Harvey walked around in shock, not even bothering to remove his coat or shoes before he did.
"Oh, my God," he whispered, "Oh, my God..."
"Yeah, I know," you giggled as he walked to the kitchen, taking a look in. "We ran out of Louis pictures, though, so it's not as perfect as I wanted it.”
He glanced at you from the corner of his eye, smiling a little as you bit your lip, looking a little bashful.
"All this because of some salty coffee?"
"What can I say, Harvey?" You asked, walking up behind him. "I just can't let something like that go without retaliation."
He turned around to face you, and you had your arms already stretched out, ready to hug him, but he decided to chase you instead.
And once he had you, he wouldn't let you go. His arms were wrapped around you, your face pressed against his chest as he kissed the top of your head, holding you tight.
"I hate you," he whispered into your hair, and you looked up at him.
“I love you too.” You smiled sweetly as you wrapped your arms around his neck.
Unbeknownst to him, though, you had one final surprise that would knock him off his feet.
That night, you were cuddled up in bed with a book, waiting for Harvey to get out of the shower. Once he did and headed towards his side of the bed, you sat up and smiled. The book went out of your hands in a heartbeat.
He wore nothing but a towel around his waist, and his hair was still damp as he went over to his drawer to pull out some pajamas. You watched him quietly, waiting patiently.
"Can you grab me the bottoms on your side of the drawer?" He asked, pulling out his top drawer. His face was quick to turn into a look of confusion as he opened it. "What the—"
You sat up and walked over to him, pressing your finger to his lips as you watched his eyes look down.
His top drawer that consisted his underwear was now completely covered in the Christmas spirit. Every single pair that was in there was wrapped in green, silver, and gold. And to top it all off, that was where all the remaining Louis pictures were hidden.
“You just got Litt up.” You said with a smirk.
His palm pressed against his face as he groaned into it. He was most definitely disappointed in you, but you knew deep down that he was more proud than anything.
"You're evil," he scoffed, turning and lowering his head to look at you, and that look told you everything you needed to know. "but damn are you good.”
"Told you I would win." You chuckled and leaned up, kissing his cheek. “Guess you’ll have to try your luck next year.”
Harvey might always win in the world of law, but in his heart, he knew you always would be the winner when it came to the two of you.
And that was a loss Harvey could live with.

Harvey Specter is either fiercely in denial about any potential feelings when he and Mike start sleeping together OR he's buying a ring the next morning and asking himself when it wouldn't be considered "too soon" to propose. There is no in-between for him and I love that.
Hell, he can do both. Harvey would insist they marry entirely for tax reasons, furiously ignoring how his heart races at the thought of "Mr. and Mr. Specter-Ross."

Another Time, Another Place
Tumblr media
Summary: Harvey's wife (Reader) gets stuck while working on a case and she requires his assistance to get unstuck.
Prompt: “What? Isn’t this the book you wanted?”
Pairing: Harvey Specter x Reader/OFC (3rd person, she/ her)
Content Warning: Nothing much, really. Implied spice, but no explicit spice.
She pulled her gaze from her laptop, rubbing at her eyes as she glanced around the room after sending an email. Most of the partners—both the senior and junior designees—stayed far away from the law firm’s library. They had little need for the space, what with being granted their own resplendent offices, complete with the comforts of their own design—furniture and decor and views that reflected their status and clout at the firm…
So it was rare to find department heads there, excepting for the odd instances when they deigned to stretch their legs, drifting down to the library to follow up with an associate or paralegal assigned to their case in person rather than sending an email, but she had always liked the library. She often preferred its special brand of quiet, the near-silence imbued with the tense buzz of people working on their own time-sensitive assignments, almost like the parallel play of toddlers. Almost like they were all still students studying for exams and writing papers.
The room was empty now though, the hour too late for even the most diligent of associates, the most hungry of them, but it had always reminded her of her days back in school…her days as a novice associate. Even now, she sometimes preferred the space to her own office the same way she’d once preferred the space to her little cubicle in the bullpen. Back when she was an associate, there had been no hour too late, no hour that she wouldn’t spend in the library with a pile of books and her mind wound tightly throughout the intricacies of a case, trying to craft a win for herself. For her mentor. For her clients.
It wasn’t often these days that she needed to keep such late hours. And somewhere along the line, she’d become the one mentoring novice attorneys. She’d sent her own associate home hours ago, preferring to work through this particularly rough bit of research on her own. Once in a while, she liked that sort of challenge. Liked revisiting the grueling all nighters she’d once lived on a daily basis.
And she could feel she was close now, the puzzle pieces in her mind’s eye nearly falling into place. Nearly…but there was something she was missing. Something blocked that she couldn’t quite work through. In a library containing thousands of volumes and a whole internet of answers, she just couldn’t find what she needed.
Or, more likely, she couldn’t access it, her mind not making the right connections.
She probably just needed to get some sleep, to look at things with a fresh mind, but that wasn’t in the cards tonight, not with an impending deadline.
A short break would have to do. She just needed an influx of energy, a slight bit of distraction to pull her mind away from the issue just enough to give perspective.
Pushing back from her laptop, she turned the volume on her wireless headphones up, letting the club hits she used to dance to during undergrad house parties soothe some part of her soul, almost as if the familiar beats unlocked something in her, loosening muscles she hadn’t even realized were tense. Not that it was a surprise. She’d been hunched over the table for hours, not even bothering to stop for dinner, taking only a few obligatory bites of the sushi Harvey had ordered for her while her eyes remained glued to her computer.
She let her focus slip away now though, slipping off her heels and closing her eyes as she sang along to the song in her headphones. She imagined she was in another time, another place—far away from the library and the case, the music easily carrying her away.
She started, eyes flying open as she danced into something solid, the scent of a familiar cologne tickling her senses as she stumbled. Harvey’s hand closed around her back, steadying her as she pulled her headphones off, letting them hang around her neck.
Harvey smirked at the noise still blaring through the silent library from the headphones, a song he knew just as well as she did, the sound of it dredging up at least half a dozen memories—images of his own college days, images of the two of them on road trips, images of her cleaning the apartment, images of their wedding, images of a handful of other times he’d come across her in the firm’s library late at night…
“Hey fruitcake, what are you doing?”
She rolled her eyes at the reference as she turned down the volume, allowing the memories and the music to fall away, her mind temporarily focused on finding the right retort, her mind gratefully sifting through Dirty Harry quotes rather than case law research.
Harvey watched her, letting the quiet stretch between them, some part of him gratified at the sight of her slightly disheveled appearance. Harvey liked something about the juxtaposition, of seeing her just slightly less put together than she usually was in the hallowed halls of their law firm, her blazer discarded on a chair, her shirt sleeves rolled, her feet bare, bright red toenails stark against the dark carpets.
Not that he wasn’t used to seeing her like that. She was the type of girl who was almost always in sweats just minutes after arriving home. She’d actually been dressed that way when they first met, years and years ago in a different law library, in a different set of hallowed halls.
Sometimes, especially times like this, it felt like it was just yesterday.
Harvey pulled his eyes back to her face to find her studying him, a certain eagerness lighting her eyes. His lips formed a fond smile again.
“I thought you were hard at work down here?” he taunted, eyebrows raising.
“Well…” she started, leaning a bit of weight onto the arm that still lay snaked around her back, “for the past three-quarters of an hour, I’ve been sitting on my ass waiting for you.”
Harvey smirked. It was one of the things he loved about her: that she could go toe to toe with him with most things—movie references, the law, a few choice other things…
Nevermind the fact that she’d emailed him requesting his ‘assistance’ mere minutes ago…
Harvey gently massaged her lower back with the fingers he still had splayed there before shifting his arm away, abstaining from letting his hand drift down to the aforementioned ass, another thing he loved about her.
Her lips pursed at the sudden absence of Harvey’s touch and she pulled her arms up to fold over her chest.
“I brought that help you wanted.”
She refrained from smiling as she read the title of the paperback he pushed into the space between them—Law for Dummies—even as he smirked, giddy as a school child. She had gifted the book to him upon his law school graduation, and it had occupied a shelf in his various cubicles and offices ever since.
She doubted it had ever been much help, but it gave them a good laugh from time to time, something which was like a balm to the harshness of life sometimes, a healing salve for the seemingly chronic stress of their lives.
“Very clever, Harvey.”
“What?” he asked, gaze drifting from her unimpressed face down to the black and yellow front cover. “Isn’t this the book you wanted?”
Harvey’s voice sounded so innocent—so sincere—that she almost laughed. Christ, he was good. If law hadn’t worked out, he could’ve given acting a shot. Comedy, maybe.
“Did my email say anything about a book, Mr. Specter?” she asked, taking the tome from his hands and tossing it on a nearby table with a thump.
Harvey hummed. “Come to think of it, your email was a little…vague. Left a lot to the imagination.”
“Mhmm…” She nodded. “The details of the specific type of assistance I require of you is something I suspect neither one of us would want in writing. Wouldn’t want it read aloud in a court of law…” Her eyes traveled Harvey’s face, clocking the light in his eyes and the tug of his smile. “Or by the IT department,” she added as an afterthought, the briefest bit of alarm washing over her features at the idea.
“You think Benjamin is reading our email exchanges?” Harvey asked. “That’s kind of—”
She pushed at his chest before he could get the word out—kinky.
“Harvey,” she groaned, not because she didn’t enjoy the childish side of him. She did. She loved it, actually, but she had asked him down here for a reason…
“Yes, Mrs. Specter?”
To most of the world, both here at the office and in the eyes of the U.S. government, she went by her maiden name. She had kept her own name, both professionally and legally, for a multitude of reasons, not the least of which being that she was not a man’s property, not even if Harvey Specter was the man in question. But between the two of them, it still thrilled her when he called her that, made her feel so thoroughly his—and him so thoroughly hers—that her toes curled into the carpet, a movement that Harvey clocked as he stepped closer, one arm wrapping around her as he used the other to guide her face up to him with a hand under her chin.
“What specific type of assistance is it that you require of me?”
Whatever she asked for…whatever she needed…Harvey would readily give her the world if she wanted it. If it would make her happy. If she needed it. He’d do anything.
It was a truth they both knew. And it was reciprocal. She’d do the same for him.
But all she wanted—all she needed—just now was him.
This.
Well, this…and a way to win her case, but as she kissed her husband’s lips, allowing him to guide them both back towards the stacks, thoughts of the case fell away until all that existed in the world was two people alone in a library, each of them falling a bit further in love, as they had once done long ago in another time, another place.

F@cking the boss - Harvey x Reader Part 2/2
Tumblr media
Summary: after weeks of being sexual with Harvey he catches you trying to get with a guy after he flirts with thousands of females, Harvey immediately reminds y/n who she belongs to.
Warning: S M U T.
It had been three amazing weeks of being with Harvey Specter, the bizarre surprises, the midnight sex, the office sex, everything about it was amazing, but something was bothering you. Harvey never called you his girlfriend, never said it was exclusive, so you went out to the club with Lisa, someone you met on the firm, you ended up getting a little too drunk and had what you thought was an amazing idea at the time. You called Harvey's driver to bring you home, you attempted to bring a guy home with you but the driver refused, so you drunkingly apologized and flopped in the seat.
You woke up on your couch, your head was pounding, you had no idea how you got inside from the driver's car and you still felt tipsy and why was all of the lights off except for one? and why were there legs hanging off the chair in the corner? Sitting up straight you tried to blink the drowsiness and alcohol away as you stared at the person in the corner "Harvey?" You questioned as you noticed his bag and suit jacket laying on the counter. "My driver called." He huffed "How did I get inside?" You asked groaning as he flipped on the living room light "I was the one who picked you up." He stated "You were too drunk to realize and so was Lisa. I'm disappointed in you both. and you trying to take home a gas station clerk? really?" He asked, you felt like every defendant you heard him question on the stand in his trials. "I..You!..In my defense Harvey you've never stated what we were! You always flirt with girls so I thought it was a casual boss and receptionist deal" You huffed crossing your arms "Cut the bullshit Y/n" He said sharply standing up, you looked up at him raising your eyebrows "You have commitment problems, Harvey" You challenged, it was dangerous when you two argued, it either ended up in Jessica being mediator to make you two get along or it ended in rough make-up sex where Harvey refuses to say he's wrong, you both were hard headed and stubborn and both fought to get whatever you wanted.
"Stand up" He ordered, you stood your ground, not giving in "You kneel, Harvey" You ordered back, he glared, narrowing his eyes towards you, you were both glaring before finally Harvey took a large stride forward grabbing your top pulling you to your feet "You wanna be with me? Let's do it. You wanna ride my dick? Go right ahead princess. You wanna make this a real thing? let's do it" He said pulling you closer before resting his hands on your hips. You looked at him nodding before jumping up, wrapping your legs around his waist, his hands immediately coming up to rest on your ass. You leaned forward kissing his neck while he walked forward until he hit the closest wall like thing near you both, the large windows of your apartment that were only giving you privacy by the shitty curtains that didn't even reach the bottom of the curtains. As your back hit the wall you let your head fall back, you could feel his hot breath on your neck as he slowly moved one hand to your hair to tug lightly "Do you want this, Princess?" He whispered, you nodded whimpering and mentally crumbling because of the nickname. "Good. Because I've had a feeling I need to show you who's mine" He grunted as he pulled your hair more causing you to look fully up, You gasped as all of a sudden you felt him press himself against you while kissing your neck and squeezing and twisting your nipple. As fast as it started though, it was just as fast stopping, Harvey watched as you basically held onto his shoulders to keep yourself from sinking to your knees in desperation. "See? See how fast I can take this all away?" He grunted before holding your hips pulling you towards your room pushing you onto the bed, slowly pulling off your dress and coat, you smirk at him thinking he's going to continue whining and groaning as you saw him start to put on your sleep shorts and tanktop, only now do you take in his bed head, his nightpants and t-shirt that was lazily thrown on, and the time, three-twenty-six AM. Harvey woke up and came and got you? Then stayed? All when he has a deposition tomorrow morning at nine AM, Maybe he did love you.
You woke up again at Six that morning to Harvey climbing out of bed. "Harv?.." You whispered watching as he tiredly turned around to look at you, resting a hand on your cheek "hmm?" he hummed softly in curiosity "I love you" you whispered "I love you too" He whispered tiredly kissing your forehead before going to take a shower. You took the to plan.
The office was closed, everybody but a couple people left a bit ago and you took your opportunity to hide under Harvey’s desk, waiting for him. It only took a couple of minutes before you saw him take a seat and scoot forward, you slowly started undoing his belt. “Y/n. What’re you doing? You’re not suppose to be here I gave you the day off” he questioned holding a hand over one of yours, stroking his thumb over the top of your hand “came to thank you for taking care of me..for waking up and doing all of that for me..and for loving me” You whispered looking up at him as he scooted back to see you.
“Oh really?” He asked “who says I love you?” He questioned teasingly “shut up, jerk, you said so this morning” you grumbled smacking his hand playfully “I’m kidding, I love you” he smiled leaning down to peck your lips “go ahead my princess, but don’t get caught”
You smirked as he scooted his chair forward again helping you undo his slacks and belt, you smiled leaning in to give a playful bite to his thigh, he grabbed your hair tugging a bit “gentle” he demanded taking his suit jacket and vest off, leaving him in his shirt, tie, and slacks, his dick being pulled out between his boxers and slacks. You took your time, taking in the sight before licking your hand a couple of times, wrapping it around his dick and starting to motion your hand up and down. You changed your pace, from fast to slower, you were listening to Harvey’s breathing, how it’d pick up and relax. “Get to work, slut.” He grunted growing frustrated with your half-ass teasing, you smiled peeking up at him through the small crack between the desk and his torso, he had a rough glare directed towards you. He raised his eyebrows as you gave him a swift nod, allowing him to grab your hair and lower your head to where you were taking his dick in your mouth. You immediately took over swallowing around him as you moved your head up and down, he kept a hold on your hair trying to focus on keeping a straight face as the late night workers passed by.
You could feel yourself getting wet in your thong but you didn’t really care at the moment, you slowly brought your tongue up the shaft and around his tip before Harvey pushed your head down farther making you take his dick down your throat. You whimpered a bit as you swallowed around him hearing the door open and close “hey Harvey, I’ve got those Briefing done for you a day early I’ve also gotta talk to you about a case” Mike said standing in the middle of the office “thank you mike. Leave it on my desk and we can talk tomorrow” Harvey demanded dismissing him “but I really think these need to be handled tonight” he protested “Ross! Go home! Get rest!” Harvey snapped watching the kid rush out towards his office then the elevators.
Harvey tugged your hair pulling you off before scooting back pulling you up to sit on his lap, you could feel his erection between your legs, and just by the look he was giving you, you knew you were about to have to be carried home. “Take em off.” He whispered in your eye watching you push your thong off out from under your skirt, he helped you position yourself over his dick and lap before you slowly lowered yourself feeling his dick enter you and stretch you out to his size and liking. “I had to wake up at one in the fucking morning” he grunted as he thrusted up against your hips, you immediately jerked forward feeling his tip hit your cervix as you dug your nails into his back “come pick up your drunk ass. Had to run off a guy you were trying to let fuck you.” He growled thrusting his hips more often forcing you to bite his shoulder to stay quiet. “Then deal with having to see you in the hottest fucking lingerie I’ve ever seen on your amazing body, and yet the only thing I could think of- god Damnit it” he huffed before lifting you up with ease carrying you to his couch before laying you down pushing his dick back inside of your pussy. You whimpered wrapping your legs around his waist “-was you wearing it for some other guy. Whenever you belong to me. You’re my fucking slut. Only mine” he grunted starting to fuck you a lot harder, wrapping his hand around your throat squeezing lightly. You whined tightening your legs around him as he took his tie off shoving it into your mouth to keep quiet “now be quiet while daddy fucks your brains out and reminds you that you’re mine.” He whispered to you before using his other hand to start rubbing your clit, your back arched immediately as you turned your head to the side, between his finger work and fucking you it was too much. He was too much. He was too good. “Fuck princess. Good girl, you’re such a good slut for me” he huffed in your ear as he sped up his thrusts. You whimpered attempting to close your legs whenever you heard the elevator ding, meaning someone was just a couple feet from Harvey’s office, he smirked, and you could swear you saw a devious glint in his eye. He pressed his hips further into you making your back arch and you gasp. He slowed his pace making you try and push your hips back to feel him fill you up again but he stayed before grabbing your hips pulling you up making you sit on his lap to ride him. “Ride my cock, slut.” He demanded “you want me to know you’re sorry for trying to fuck someone else? Ride me until I say we’re done.” He demanded watching you bite your lip and nod “such a desperate slut” Harvey growled using his thumb to slowly go over your clit as you slowly rolled your hips making both you and Harvey moan. You immediately started to bounce your hips after that, loving the feeling of him holding your hips and directing your moves as you rode his cock. “F-fuck Harvey” you tried to groan through his tie, he ripped it out of your mouth as you pulled his torso closer, never failing the motion of your hips as he started kissing your neck and exposed cleavage. “My desperate Slut. Nobody can fuck you like this and I’m gonna make sure you know.” He grunted in your ear, you whined tightening around him making him halt his movements as he started to cum inside of you making you whine and moan moving your hips, Harvey quick to keep your hips still as he finished “Pleaaaase daddy” you whined as he slowly pulled out crawling down between your legs.
Harvey gave your Clit a solid lick making your hips jolt and your hands get entangled in his hair. You moaned and thrived around as he started to show no mercy against you or your pussy. By the fifth time you came your legs were shaking like crazy and you had tears going down your cheeks from pleasure. You watched as he slowly leaned up wiping his mouth with his thumb before popping it in his mouth sucking any flavor left off of his thumb. You whimpered watching him before he slowly pulled your thong back on your body, he fixed himself back into his slacks before lifting you up ready to help you out to the car “that’s just go one, princess..we’re going again when we get home” he whispered in your ear making you squeeze your legs together in anticipation and whine holding his hair tightly in your hands.

[Harvey Specter x Female!Reader]
Synopsis: You know you’re screwed when you feel them fluttering in your chest {GIF Creds: jeysuso}.
WC: 717
Category: Fluff
For all my Harvey lovers out there, I made a cute fluffy quickie (I’m seeing a lot of my fics being swarmed with love so why not add to it 🤗)
『••✎••』
It happened over a bottle of bourbon. A spilled bottle, actually. But a bottle of bourbon nonetheless, and that is important to note.
You didn’t mean to spill the alcohol all over your date, but he had made some comment about how you shouldn't be wearing a dress with a plunging neckline, so you just… happened to tip the entire thing over him.
The man was furious, of course, but he left pretty quickly after that. And you were left with a mess on the floor and a waiter hovering at the side, asking if you wanted another bottle.
You told him no. You just wanted to go home.
You didn't want a new date; you didn't want to sit at this stupid table with the stupid white tablecloth, the stupid, gaudy candlesticks, or the stupid waiter with the stupid, expectant look on his face.
"Miss?"
"No, thank you," you say, a little more firmly, gathering up your things and leaving as much cash as you can on the table. If you were smart, you'd have brought an umbrella, but you're not smart, so you'll just get drenched like an idiot.
But, fortunately for you, the person calling your name knew you well enough to know you weren’t that smart.
Before a drop of water could even hit your hair, a tall, dark figure steps out in front of you and blocks the downpour. Some might consider this a gentlemanly action, but you knew the man, and he was hardly ever a gentleman.
"You're welcome," Harvey says, a smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth.
"You're a pain," you reply, but you're grateful for the cover.
"And you're dateless. So, I see two options: we can have dinner and a drink back at my place, or we can do dinner and a drink back at mine."
You can't help but laugh. "Did you use this on Scottie? I see why she left. That line was bad."
"You're not going to ask how I knew you were here?"
"Nope. You probably had Louis stalk me."
"Don't talk about the puppy like that."
"So you did have him stalk me!"
"I prefer the term 'make sure you were alright,'" Harvey replies, and he holds out his arm to you. "Guy was a douche. Let me buy you dessert to make up for it. And I don’t mean in the biblical sense, although that can be arranged, too, if you'd like."
"Harvey, you’re such—"
You turned to him, ready to tell him exactly what you thought of him, but the words died when you met his eyes. Those same eyes that allured you into taking his offer at Pearson Hardman. The same eyes that made you agree to work with him on the case despite your better judgment.
In a flash, you saw the whole thing: your first meeting, the cases, the laughs, the looks, the touches. And now, the moment.
When you were younger, the term butterflies had never really made sense to you. The idea of feeling them in your stomach seemed ridiculous, and yet, there you were, feeling them for the very first time.
They were all fluttering around inside of you, and all you could think was, "Oh, no."
And as if the universe had heard you, it suddenly stopped raining, and you both stood there in the middle of the street, the moon casting a warm light on your faces.
Harvey noticed it, too, and his expression softened. His usual cockiness was replaced with a gentle concern. "You okay?"
You nodded, biting your lip. "Yeah."
Harvey reached up and brushed a strand of hair away from your face, his hand lingering a moment longer than it needed to. He gave you that signature grin and asked, "You look like a velvet cake kind of girl. Am I right?"
He was right.
Goddamnit, he was right.
And as he swaddled you in his coat to keep you warm as you both went back inside, the anger and confusion you felt earlier melted into a quiet, warm glow.
Date night had not gone according to plan, but when his lips met yours and your hands slid through his soft, brown hair, you realized that, perhaps, sometimes, it was good to deviate from the plan.
The butterflies seemed to agree.

250 pages of Suits fics on AO3 and nobody has written a crossover with Phoenix Wright? Really? When there's potential in Phoenix going up against Harvey in his prosecutor days (Harvey Specter is not a real person's name, he fits in perfectly with ace attorney names). Or even characters just meeting up at a lawyer conference?
I would have thought the overlap of "lawyers who weren't intentionally written as gay, but are so clearly fucking gay" would have compelled someone to write the thing.
Maybe its live action bias has fooled people into thinking Suits is too serious to crossover with PW:AA, but it's really not. It's a very silly show.
Cross examining a parrot would also slot in well with the casual crimes characters commit.

The Care Package
Tumblr media
Summary: When Charlie leaves to study abroad in London for the semester and forgets something important, Harvey and Donna get it to her as quick as possible.
Prompt: “I love you, my fluffy dinosaur.” Promptly followed by: “Are you drunk or trying out a new nickname? Because I’m not a fan.”
Characters: Harvey Specter & Charlie Specter (OC)
Content Warning: None!
Suits (Lines to Live By) Masterlist
Harvey answered the video call and recoiled, the speakers garbling Charlie’s high pitched squeal. She was nearly shaking with what Harvey could only name as unencumbered happiness, clearly visible even through the slight blurriness of the screen, courtesy of the 3,500 miles between them and her shoddy internet connection.
“I love you, my fluffy dinosaur!” she said, either not aware or not caring that her brother had answered her call and was watching.
"Shut up! It's 6 am!"
Charlie flinched, turning towards her bedroom door at the shout of one of her flatmates, shouting back a quick, "Sorry!" that had Harvey laughing for the first time in what felt like days.
“Are you drunk or trying out a new nickname?” Harvey asked. “Because I gotta be honest, I’m not a fan.”
Charlie glanced at the screen, glaring at her brother for a second before she refocused her attention on uncovering the stuffed creature she knew was buried in the bottom of the package. She had just accepted the delivery, and recognizing the return address—Pearson-Specter-Litt’s office, she’d opened it right away, plopping herself, the box, and her laptop on her bed after reading the accompanying greeting card.
Charlie smiled triumphantly as she finally pulled Tracy the Triceratops free, hugging the stuffed dinosaur to her chest.
“Not a fan of the nickname or me being drunk?” she asked, settling the triceratops in her lap so both Charlie and Tracy were staring at Harvey with goofy grins on their faces.
Charlie’s smile broadened as she looked at her brother, impressed at his ability to successfully level a look like that at her even through the computer screen.
She rolled her eyes. “I’ll remind you that the drinking age is eighteen here, Harvey,” she offered. “Sorry to inform you that I’m an adult.”
Not to mention that it was 6 in the morning, and drinking was the last thing on her mind.
“She says while hugging a blue dinosaur..."
A handful of witty comebacks swirled in Charlie's mind, but she found herself taking a deep, steadying breath as she observed her brother on the screen, his smile easy even though he was clearly exhausted. She was hit with a wave of something that had her swallowing down a lump in her throat, something that clenched tight in her chest.
It wasn’t quite loneliness Charlie felt—she had known two of her flatmates before leaving study abroad, and everyone else she had met in the last few days had been great. Charlie was enjoying everything about it and having loads of fun, but for a moment, as she watched Harvey through the screen, she just longed to be home.
She longed for the apartment she shared with her brother. She longed for New York bagels and their quiet, cozy Sundays. She even longed for her brother’s office with his records and his collection of balls, including the one she had signed for him during her first and only season of tee ball. He wasn’t the type to have a framed picture of his sister adorning his desk, but Charlie’s baseball sat in an honored position beside the ones belonging to Jeter, Jordan, and Ewing. Most people who admired the collection were none the wiser that the ball closest to Harvey's desk had been signed by a six year old.
Charlie cleared her throat, blinking away the sudden wetness in her eyes and Harvey sat up straight, noting the change in her despite the terrible internet connection.
“What’s wrong?"
Charlie swallowed as Harvey started his question, shaking her head.
“You’re still at work?” she tried, though she already knew he was. It was a busy week at the firm and even though Harvey hadn’t said a word to her about it, she knew from Mike and Donna. And even if they hadn’t clued her in, Charlie recognized her brother’s office—a space that felt just as much like home as Harvey’s apartment did.
“Charlotte.”
Charlie stilled. She knew that tone. She recognized that her brother had latched on to something and wasn’t likely to let it go easily.
“It’s nothing, Harvey. I just…Thank you for sending Tracy.” Charlie held up the dinosaur, waving its clawed foot at Harvey through the screen. “I haven’t been away from her for so long since…well, never, I guess.”
It was one of the first things their father had bought for her when she moved in with them and for those first few years, she took it with her just about everywhere. The dinosaur still shared her bed over a decade later, and it had certainly been on her study abroad packing list. It probably would have made it into the suitcase had Charlie not waited until the very last minute to pack.
Harvey had prompted her to start packing more times than he could count starting close to a month ago. Neither of them had been aware that her delaying probably had a deeper meaning. Neither of them had realized that her delay was the only bit of resistance she showed about the situation.
Because neither Specter had been willing to talk about the fact that they were both feeling a little hesitant about her going away for the semester.
Charlie had realized the dinosaur was missing by the time she laid down for her first night in the new flat and she had sent off an email right away, practically begging for the creature to be sent at Harvey's earliest convenience.
Charlie had expected it to take a week or more. They were an ocean away now and Charlie knew her brother and Donna were both busy. Digging through the disaster area Charlie knew she had left in her bedroom to find the stuffed creature wouldn’t likely be at the top of his priorities…Nor would be packing it up and making a stop somewhere to ship it off…
But even so, it had arrived in less than two days. Charlie didn’t even want to think how much that had cost to make that happen
Harvey smiled as Charlie idly fussed with the dinosaur, barely aware of his studying her on the other side of the screen.
“Or maybe Donna’s the one who I should thank...?” Charlie mused as she remembered the accompanying card she’d found in the package with, ‘Call your brother when you get this, Little Chick,’ written out in Donna’s neat handwriting. “Is she there?”
Harvey shook his head. Donna had left just a few minutes before Charlie’s video call came through.
“Oh,” Charlie answered. “Why are you still there?” She knew they usually left around the same time, and it was past one in the morning already.
Harvey shrugged. He had been about to leave, every part of him desperate to crawl into bed for a few hours before they would be at it again, but his sister’s call had been more compelling than the call to sleep. And he didn’t feel like getting into the work stuff. The idea of bringing it into their conversation was enough to leech what little energy he had left. Charlie read that well enough and didn’t press him further.
“Who's idea was the snacks?” she asked, digging through the box filled with some of her very favorites.
“Joint effort,” Harvey answered.
“Let me guess. Mike?” she continued with a snort, holding up the package of blue pens and highlighters taped to a notebook with a blue cover.
Harvey nodded with a fond smile. Mike had insisted on adding the collection of blue items to the box along with one of Louis’s beloved bran bars, stolen from the staff kitchen.
“Well, thank you,” she continued, vaguely distracted with digging through the rest of the items. She pulled out a planner, recognizing it as the generic one the firm gave out to any employees who wanted them.
“Really?” she asked with an eye roll, holding it up to the screen. "You spoil me, Harvey."
“Just a little piece of home,” Harvey answered with a smirk, waiting for her to notice the little tab sticking out of the side, and watching as she thumbed through it to get to the marked page. Then the shock registered on her face, her squeal of happiness coming out with little regard for her sleeping roommates.
“Are you serious?” she asked. “You and Donna are coming to visit? In two weeks?”
Harvey nodded. It was soon, far sooner than they had planned. They had made vague arrangements for him to come visit Charlie in London later in the semester, but only a few days after her departure, Donna had moved his schedule around and booked tickets. When she’d told him, Harvey hadn’t argued, just asking if she wanted to book a flight for herself, too.
Charlie smirked. “Visiting already? Must be pretty boring without me there...I guess you must really miss me something awful?”
"Me?" Harvey scoffed. “Miss having my annoying little sister driving me up a wall all the time? Not a chance, kid. But Donna and I discussed it and we wouldn’t want to deprive you of my presence for too long. I hear if you spend too much time away from me, you start becoming a lame ass punk. I mean, look at what’s happened to Marcus.”
"Right." Charlie rolled her eyes, but smiled nonetheless. “We wouldn’t want that.”
“It would be a shame after all the work I’ve put into making sure you’re passably cool. You’re a reflection of me, you know? Even when you're in another country.”
Harvey gave her a fond smile as he said it, and Charlie mirrored the gesture.
"Naturally," she offered. "I should probably let you go. I’ve got class at 8…and I think you should get some sleep.”
“Alright.” Harvey nodded. “If you forgot anything else, just let us know.”
“Okay.” Charlie was hugging Tracy in her lap again, barely aware she was doing it. “And...I love you, Harvey.”
Harvey let the words fill him, a warmth settling in his chest that had been distinctly absent since he left his sister waiting in the line at airport security.
“I love you, too, kid. See you in two weeks.”
Charlie smiled and lifted the dinosaur’s paw then, waving at the screen for a moment before she ended the call. The image of Charlie and Tracy remained frozen there for a moment on Harvey’s laptop, and Harvey swallowed the lump in his throat, hoping the next two weeks would fly by.
