I assumed all the sisters had done communion to become sisters or something but bbf seemed surprised at the memory of rain
#1xr tag#I also don't get why it has to be done with others? Like is it to be supervised by#a diff one each time in some ceremonial situation or do only Watchers get#access to all fragments the others hold in their like genetic memory or something?#Idgi#Like it's all based in memories the Occupants store so... I guess it is probably just#mentoring each other through it? And maybe bbf hadn't seen the rain the first time#or she was recounting her first time seeing it#I just don't know then when they're chosen to do communions#Some shell was overheard mad someone else had been chosen to graduate which#presumably was about Watcher becoming Watcher? Maybe??#So do they do communions once they're trusted with the sister title or??#Can shells do communions as shells if they're deemed ready ?#I imagine maybe not since they could have less faith in allmother if entrusted w that much info#Kdksjf but also Principal wants that so idk#Nvm game desc answers quite a bit of this I'm stupid#Another question then is can they discuss communion memories with others#Like had Fixer been able to do that with Watcher when Watcher was still a shell#I was going to ask how come two close shells both managed to become sisters but... Principal meddling lol#Anyway then what determines the train#When Principal needs to boot someone I imagine? Or when she determines them#worthy to show allmother if that's even a concern anymore?#I doubt iris is sending them in her state#Just. Where do they go then. Do they become Occupant juice#Where did Fixer go after the train did she just fuck around and explore instead of going to allmo?I#The train is supposed to carry ppl off to fight against occupants with allmo but clearly#that's not what they'd find upon getting there so does Principal mess w the tracks?#Anyway re communion Principal asked Watcher how bb reacted to the communion to#see if traitorous behavior in the safety of its secrecy so... ig that's why watcher#has to do this w them bc it's to judge them. Like healer is next bc 'smth stirs in her'

Tell me about your OC's! — @i-kill-my-darlings
@i-kill-my-darlings Ohhhh boy you know exactly how to get me talking. I’ll be doing official introduction posts in the future, but this will work for now *cracks knuckles*
First and foremost, I have so many AUs that I can’t even choose what is canon anymore. Bear with me. Now, on to my first brainchild Charlie.
Full name: Charleston Grant Darling, prefers to be called Charles or Charlie
Height: 5’10”
Ethnicity: Austrian, Russian, Arabic
Gender ID: Male, He/Him
Appearance: Wide, strong shoulders; oak brown hair; widow’s peak hairline; medium-small roman nose; intense, darkest blue eyes (often mistaken for black); average cheekbones; strong jaw; thick eyebrows; close-shaven beard; DIY star tattoo on wrist from teen years, scar on collarbone; muscly boi™
Role: Everyone’s impulse control, sharpshooter, tank, human shield & wounded transport
Traits at first glance: terse, observant, standoff-ish, skeptical, talks to get the point across
Traits after earning his trust: curious, devoted, mildly humorous, values his personal space, bad with words, hard-working
Likes: jokes, thunderstorms, reading, traveling, camping, music, and foggy mornings
Dislikes: wet socks, flowers indoors, excessive heat, gambling, doctors, sitting still, coffee, and kids he says
Fears: Who says you get to know?
Weaknesses: deep water, he sinks very easily; ankles - they snag on things when he’s not paying attention; authoritative figures, climbing, when friends or significant other is threatened, flirting? flirting.
Listen, this boy just wants to be left alone with his hunting gear. All he desires is the hermit life. Trophy hunter? Check. Hired help for animals that are getting out of hand? Check. Unexpectedly and unofficially adopted as team sharpshooter? He’s convinced this is because they all suck at target practice.
He’s a horrible conversationalist unless drunk - then you can never get him to shut up.
He really wants to publish a book some day, but he’s too harsh of a judge and scraps almost everything he writes. Nobody knows he writes.
DAD FRIEND
If you ever get close enough, he smells like honey, cinnamon, and leather
*slaps roof* this bad boy can fit so much self-doubt and angst
He either overthinks to the last detail or jumps on something without considering anything - and there is no in between.
He’s the best out of the team at that soft “Hey...” when reassuring or comforting.
He does not do doctors. Bad experience with them as a kid. He will do every herbal remedy possible before being dragged to a hospital bc he put it off for so long.
“For my next trick I will disappear without an explanation”
After a scare or a fright, he sneezes.
In some AUs, an ex-soldier.
Next up: Beatrice!
Full name: Beatrice Anne Vitale, nicknames include Bea, Bess, & Bumble-Bee
Height: 5’4”
Ethnicity: Swedish, Native American, other ethnicities unknown
Gender ID: Female, She/Her
Appearance: pear-shaped, plump but strong; small shoulders; wispy, curly/wavy chestnut brown hair that’s cut to just above her shoulders; beauty marks (notably, one below her left eye & one on her neck); her eyes are bright, hazel with flecks of gray; dark-but-neat eyebrows; slightly prominent cheekbones; small chin; button nose; heart-shaped lips that are naturally pink; burn scar on right wrist and large birthmark covering her left thigh.
Role: Healer, slaps others when they need a slapping and apologizes directly afterwards, sneak/stealth ninja
Traits at first glance: quiet, painfully polite, passive, timid
Traits after getting to know her: cheery, energetic, relatively talkative, stubborn af
Likes: lilies, lavender, quiet, strawberries, pumpkin-flavored foods, making her own decisions, snow, autumn, she loves cows, chilly weather, dancing
Dislikes: being told what to do, drunk people, strange bugs, sweating, being rude, being underestimated, talking to others in front of her family, being laughed at, small talk, when people cry, unnecessary drama, obligations, and being called “cute”
Fears: not fulfilling her goals, loud noises, crowded places, frogs, having children/being pregnant, and being rejected
Weaknesses: cannot flirt to save her life, terrible liar, combat, public speaking, confrontation, gullible
Her parents are ridiculously overbearing. She just wants to make her own decisions - routine is nice, but not for your entire life.
When she’s nervous she fidgets with her hair or tugs on her earlobes
She smells of lavender and ink
When she’s excited about something, her words tend to run together and gradually increase in volume.
Even though she’s terrible in combat and fights in general, she keeps a surprisingly level head and doesn’t panic.
If you make her angry enough she’ll give you the silent treatment - usually after a good shouting row first
Just like Charlie, she’s clueless with flirting. If you’re nice to her, she assumes that you want to be friends and goes along with it. She’ll only get the hint if you actually kiss her or tell her outright. Too bad Gideon can’t work up the balls.
Speaking of which: Gideon!
Full name: Gideon Faye Miles
Height: 6’2”
Ethnicity: Scottish, Spanish, & Portuguese
Gender ID: Male, He/Him
Appearance: Average build; ashen blond/red hair tied back in a pony tail; hazy brown eyes w/ a patch of sky blue under his left iris; freckles all over; his face is narrow but attractive; average cheekbones; sharp chin; a soul patch
Role: the one that plows in headfirst and does rash things without consulting everyone else first - wannabe leader, but let’s be real here this team is a collective effort
Traits at first glance: annoying, full of himself, lucky, debonair, airy, stuck up
Traits after you get to know him: inventive, fair, lively, organized, committed
Likes: finding ways to make others smile, babies!!!, cherries, meteorology, sailing, messes (so he can clean them), cleaning, braiding everyones’ hair
Dislikes: harsh winds, unloyal spouses/dating partners, bad/cheap shoes that make his feet ache, hammocks, wind chimes, tedious tasks (Beatrice gets him to detangle her yarn as punishment), mushrooms
Fears: tiny spaces/crawlspaces, skunks, getting sick, making a decision/mistake that wrecks everything/puts his team in danger, freezing to death
Weaknesses: randomly zones out when being spoken to/doesn’t listen, the team is positive that his cause of death will be competitiveness, he’s horrible at adapting to last minute changes
He smells clean. Like freshly watered plants and sudsy soap.
He has the unfortunate habit of forgetting his drink is full and ends up soaking himself. The team buys him a sippy cup as a joke but he secretly loves it and uses it all the time.
He is the epitome of a guy being perfectly at peace with his feminine side and still feeling masculine/comfortable af.
Shaming? What’s that?
He’s always wearing his brown leather coat (appearance varies in AUs, but he always has it regardless)
He takes it as a personal challenge to sit in chairs in any way but the normal way. His favorite pose is the lounging monarch.
He cannot write well in print, but his cursive is lovely.
Loves being lazy and brags about his inability to get fat.
This boy will puppy-eye beg any girl he meets to give him the same killer manicure they have.
“Look! Twinsies!”
He would absolutely jump on the latest tiktok trend of swapping clothes with the girls and so help him he will summon a demon to get Charlie to do it with him

I’m just a slow reader (Hogwarts Mystery Imagine - fem!reader x dyslexic Barnaby Lee)
Masterlist  (To view my Masterlist, visit my Tumblr page)
Request: Hi! So I have this huge headcannon that Barnaby is dyslexic (that’s why he struggles with most subjects but is good at care of magical creatures, bc it is more pratical and doesn’t require that much reading). Sooo I was wondering if you could write a story in which he finds out and MC helps him or smth? Idk. Love you byeeee
A/N: Hi there, I definitely had fun writing about it (just had an exam about dyslexia, but I’m not sure if I have represented the learning disorder good enough in this imagine >w>) I hope you will enjoy this.
Summary: Something about Barnaby Lee was off and you were almost sure what the problem was. The only problem was that he didn’t want to admit he has this problem. You decided to take some action, thinking it would help him out later. Would he appreciate your help or will he just become angry with you? Will you two still be friends after this.
Words: 3243
Pairing: fem!reader x Barnaby Lee
_________________________________________________
Whenever you were helping Barnaby with studying you noticed he was very slow at reading things. At first you thought he couldn’t concentrate on reading things or just didn’t try his best, but you began having your doubts about that. You noticed he was struggling with it. You didn’t understand why. He seemed to be smart enough to learn things like Care of Magical Creatures, and he wasn’t too bad at flying either. Still, a lot of subjects have books, so why did he struggle with it. Maybe It was because he accepted he couldn’t learn things well? Maybe he just gave up on learning things from books? That sounded strange, but you kind of thought everything was possible. You weren’t seen as the most normal person either. You knew people would think you were a lot stranger than Barnaby was. Perhaps because Barnaby was more open than you were and easier to read. You were more closed off, keeping secrets and stuff.
You were helping Barnaby study with Rowan. She might have offered to help him, but she definitely gets a little frustrated when Barnaby doesn’t get something. “Come on, Barnaby. We were supposed to read this chapter last week!” Rowan said when she tried to quiz Barnaby about the subjects he should know about. “I’m sorry. I just didn’t get that far yet.” He said honestly. “How much did you read?” You decided to ask before Rowan would probably tell him he should keep up with reading. “I guess the first ten pages?” He said. “Just ten? No wonder you don’t know what I just asked you. The chapter is about thirty pages long.” Rowan said, frowning a little. “Come on, Rowan. Cut him some slack. I mean, we had to read that and many other things, like those forty pages for Potions.” You said. “Are you telling me you haven’t read it, Y/N?” She asked. “Not all of it. I scanned it and made notes and then I will read the chapter again for the test.” You said with a shrug.
“How could you all read so much? I really don’t understand how people can do it.” Barnaby said honestly. “It’s not that much.” Rowan said. “Well, it is definitely not a little amount we have to read. Especially now. Our O.W.L.s will start this year after all.” You said. “I definitely think the amount of work we have to do for classes has doubled.” You said. “Well, then it is a good thing we have planned time to study.” Rowan said honestly. “And okay, maybe I’m a bit hard on you guys when it is about studying.” She said. “You know I like to study hard. I mean, I want to become the youngest professor at Hogwarts.” She said with a grin. “Maybe you could teach us Defence against the Dark Arts, Rowan. Our professor of this year isn’t too great after all.” You said honestly. “Maybe you should teach us, Y/N.” Rowan said amused. “Yeah, you are pretty good at that class, Y/N.” Barnaby agreed. “Sure, I will ask Dumbledore to just hire me instead, I’m sure he will hire me.” You joked, rolling your eyes. Rowan and Barnaby chuckled.
 “Shhh!”
“I guess Madam Pince thinks we are being too loud again.” You said, seeing Madam Pince was watching you. “I guess we should just focus on studying again.” Rowan said. “Barnaby, why don’t you show me what you have written for the Potions essay?” She asked. Barnaby nodded and then he handed her the parchment with his essay. Rowan began reading it and frowned. “Barnaby, you really have to check your spelling.” She said, marking things that he could improve and how to write the words right. “I didn’t know you helped Barnaby with his essays as well.” You said. “Well, I offered to help him with his essays as well. I’m just marking things he could improve and how he should spell the words.” She said. “Yeah, I suppose spelling isn’t my cup of tea either.” He said, rubbing the back of his head. You blinked. That was odd. He wasn’t a fast reader and he couldn’t spell things right either? Did no one ever correct him when he made mistakes when he was taught how to spell words? It didn’t make much sense. Sure, you sometimes made a mistake as well, but you could see how much words Rowan marked and corrected for him.
These things reminded you of something… You don’t know where you have seen it before though. It just was really familiar. Maybe you could talk to Barnaby about it later. You thought it would be better to focus on studying before you would interrupt a study session again. Or worse, Madam Pince would kick you three out and you would have to deal with a pissed Rowan. Yeah, you would ask Barnaby to talk to you after this. Besides, you could really use this time to correct your own Potions essay. You needed to pass Potions and wanted an O. You weren’t sure what you wanted to do in the future, but you knew if you wanted to become a healer then you would need to pass Potions as well. You needed an O to take Snape his N.E.W.T. class, so you needed to do your best. So far you didn’t have that much trouble with potions, except when Merula would mess with you. Then again, Merula hasn’t done anything bad lately and you two could tolerate each other, which was a good thing.

After your study session with Rowan and Barnaby, Rowan was still talking to Barnaby… Well, it was more like scolding, telling him to work harder the next time. You could tell Barnaby was a little uncomfortable by the things Rowan pointed to. It definitely was something that had some kind of impact on him. “Also, try to reread your own essays to find spelling errors. You should be able to correct them.” She said. “Jeez, Rowan… Are you done telling him what he has done wrong?” You asked, giving Rowan a look. “What?” She asked. You shook your head. “Never mind.” You mumbled. “It’s okay. I want to be corrected so I can do it all better the next time.” Barnaby said. “Well, I agree it is good to be corrected, but some positive feedback would be nice as well, right?” You said honestly. Rowan smiled awkwardly. “Sorry, I haven’t really done that, have I?” She said. “No, not really.” You said. “It’s okay. At least you two want to study with me.” Barnaby said with a shrug. “I will give you some positive feedback the next time Barnaby.” Rowan said. “Anyways, we should probably head to the Great Hall.” She said.
“Actually, I wanted to talk to Barnaby for a little while.” You said. Rowan and Barnaby blinked. “You want to talk to me?” He asked. “Yeah.” You said. “I get it. I will be going to the Great Hall. See you two later.” Rowan said before she left.
“So… You want to talk to me about what?” Barnaby asked, not sure what was going on. “I just have a couple of questions for you.” You told him. “About what?” He asked. “About spelling and reading.” You said honestly. “Y/N, didn’t we just talk about that?” He said, looking a little uncomfortable about the topic. “I know, but I think it would be good to talk about it a little more.” You said honestly. “I mean, I’m not trying to judge you or anything. I’m just trying to help you.” You said honestly. He frowned a little and glanced away. “Look, I know you want to help me, but it is not going to work.” He said honestly. “Why not?” You asked. “Because I know it can’t be solved.” He said. “We could try.” You said honestly. “I’m just a slow reader and bad at spelling, no big deal. I just have to deal with it.” He said. “You can’t remember how to spell certain words even though people have tried to teach, right?” You said. “Bye, Y/N.” He said annoyed before he walked off.
You frowned when he just left. You didn’t stop him either, after all it seemed to be a sensitive topic. You began thinking about what you have seen and perhaps it would be good to tell someone about this. A certain professor would have to know about this, right? This could be something serious and professors could take precautions if they knew about it. You just didn’t know how to prove if he would have what you think he has. The main problem was that you would have to talk to Snape, after all he was the Head of Slytherin and needed to take care of all Slytherin students, whether he liked them or not. You sighed and then you began making your way to the Dungeons, hoping Snape would still be there.

You were lucky, Snape was still in the Potions Classroom when you entered. He raised an eyebrow when you entered. “What are you doing here, miss Y/L/N? I don’t believe you are supposed to be in the potions classroom right now.” He said. “I know, sir, but I wanted to talk about someone in Slytherin.” You said honestly. “And why do you want to talk to me about someone in my house?” He asked, frowning a little. “Because I’m worried about something.” You said. “Very well… Tell me, what could have possibly made you so worried about someone that you would need to enter my classroom?” He asked. “It’s about Barnaby Lee… I have known him for quite a while, but during today’s study session I noticed something was off.” You said. “Something was off?” He asked. “Well, he reads things pretty slow and he makes quite some spelling errors.” You said. “I have noticed that before, but why does that concern you?” He asked.
“I thought Barnaby could be dyslexic?” You said unsure. “Excuse me?” Snape asked, wondering if he had heard you right. “Well, he can’t read things quickly and make spelling errors, even though people have told him that word was spelt wrong many times before. People who are dyslexic make often the same errors, right? Because they just can’t automate the words?” You said. “That is an interesting theory you have, miss Y/L/N.” He said honestly. Perhaps you were right. The boy did have signs of someone who was dyslexic. “I will look further into it. Now go.” He said. You nodded and then you quickly left the classroom. Snape gave you some credit, you were definitely smart. He didn’t come up with that himself and he thought this could give him some explanations why Barnaby wasn’t good at most subjects except for practical exams.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
The next day you were sitting somewhere on the Castle Grounds. Things were quiet and peaceful until Barnaby began storming up to you. “Y/N, did you talk to Snape?” He asked immediately. You sighed. He didn’t look happy. “Yes, I did.” You said honestly, thinking it would be better to tell him the truth. “Why? I said it won’t work!” He said. “Now, Snape wants to talk to me later today.” He said, looking furious. “Look Barnaby, I’m just concerned about it. I know it might not be the most ideal option, but he is the Head of your House! He could help you out.” You said. “By doing what? Tutoring me? That would be great, that way he could call me stupid more often.” He said frustrated. “That’s not what I want for you, but I think I know what the problem is.” You said seriously. “There is no problem. I just can’t read things quickly and make spelling errors, no big deal. You know I’m not the brightest student here.” He said.
 “I think you are dyslexic.”
Barnaby blinked when he heard you saying that. “You think I am what?” He asked. “I think you are dyslexic. You show certain signs, Barnaby.” You said. “You know what dyslexia is, right?” You asked. “Of course, I have heard about it. Look, I’m just a bit slow, I need more time to learn stuff, nothing else.” He said. “Barnaby, really… I think it would be good if you were tested. It could give you more opportunities to do things well. Like, the professors could give you more time during an exam and take other precautions so you will perform better.” You said honestly. “And what if it is nothing? Snape would definitely do things to make me perform better, like making me study in the Potions classroom for hours!” He said. “If that happens, I will figure out something to help you.” You said honestly. “Please Barnaby, I only did it for your own good.” You said honestly. Barnaby shook his head and walked away from you again. If you weren’t right about this you could damage the friendship you had with him. You definitely didn’t want that to happen.
During dinner you were just playing with your food. You just hoped Barnaby wouldn’t hate you for telling Snape about you worrying about him. It wasn’t like you liked going to Snape to talk to him. Snape didn’t even like you and you would probably have lost house points if you came into the Potions classroom for something else. He didn’t like you, but he didn’t like many students. Perhaps Penny was an exception. “Y/N, are you all right? You haven’t taken a bite of your food yet.” Rowan asked. You sighed and shook your head. “No, I’m not all right. I’m worried about Barnaby.” You said. “Why?” She asked. “I have spoken to Snape about Barnaby’s problems with reading and writing…” You said. “What? Why would you do such a thing?” She asked, surprised you would do something like that. Like Snape would help him, she thought. “Because I think Barnaby is dyslexic.” You said honestly. Rowan blinked and was quiet for a moment. Then she facepalmed herself. “Why haven’t I thought about that? It would make a lot of sense!” She said honestly. “I would definitely be a challenge to help him study well if that is the case.” She said, thinking about what she could do during the next study session.
“Well, perhaps you would have to do that without me. Barnaby isn’t happy about me talking about it to Snape. I just hope he forgives me when they figure out if he is dyslexic or not.” You said, sighing softly. “I’m sure he will, Y/N. I mean, Barnaby isn’t really someone who would hold a grudge to someone unless they really did something wrong.” Rowan said. “You only talked to Snape, because you were worried. There is nothing wrong with being concerned about your friends. He might not like it now, but I’m sure he will forgive you after a little while.” She said, trying to cheer you up a little. “I hope so.” You mumbled. “Come on, eat something. There is nothing you can do about it now.” She said. You nodded and then you slowly began eating. You were still thinking about Barnaby the whole time though.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
After a week of not talking to Barnaby, you couldn’t help it but to still be concerned about him. You thought he probably didn’t want talk to you after he found out you were wrong or something like that. He must be really pissed at you. You didn’t even see him around, so you just thought he was avoiding you. You were sure he didn’t have any desire to see you right now. You probably screwed things up. You wanted to hit yourself for making the decision to talk to Snape after you thought he might be dyslexic. You definitely didn’t blame him for being angry, but you couldn’t help it to feel hurt. You liked Barnaby. He was one of your dearest friends and you didn’t want to lose him. You cared about him, perhaps even more than you should as a friend. How could you not care about him? You have spent a lot of time with him and he was basically there with you most of the time this year. You really enjoyed his presence, that’s why this week just sucked. You might have Rowan, but it didn’t feel the same.
You nearly fell when you bumped into someone. You were caught by the person you bumped into. “I’m sorry.” You said quickly. It took you a little while before you noticed it was Barnaby who caught you. “Shouldn’t I be the one who has to say sorry?” He asked, letting you go. You tilted your head. “Why? I mean, I bumped into you.” You said. “No, not about that. I was talking about… You know…” He said, rubbing the back of his neck. “You are sorry? Why? You have every right to be angry with me. I mean, I was probably wrong and you haven’t spoken to me in a week, and… and…” You rambled, slowly stopping yourself. “Sorry… I didn’t mean to ramble on like that…” You said honestly. “It’s fine, Y/N… I’m sorry for not speaking to you for so long… I was a bit angry and I didn’t want to take my anger out on you because you were just trying to help…” He said honestly. “Besides that,” He began.
 “You were right.”
You blinked. Did you hear that right? Did Barnaby just say you were right?  “Snape let someone professional come to test me and I’m indeed dyslexic.” He said honestly. “I just didn’t want to believe it, I guess. I mean, it isn’t just nothing. It gives a reason why I’m having trouble with writing and reading even though I work hard, but it definitely makes me think.” He said. “I mean, I wonder if I might have been better at classes if they found out about it earlier and stuff like that. I mean, I have passed my classes because I got help of people during the past years, but still…” He said honestly. “I’m still not the brightest student, but perhaps I would have done things better if I knew.” He said with a shrug. You nodded, understanding why he would think that. “It’s not strange you would think about that.” You said softly. “But, I’m glad they figured it out. I’m pretty sure it would help you out this year. After all, we have our O.W.L.s this year.” You said honestly. “And, no matter what was the case, Rowan and I will keep helping you. Well, Rowan will help you the most, but I’ll be there for you when you need me.” You said with a small smile.
Barnaby suddenly pulled you into a hug. You were surprised by it, but it just felt right. “You are the best, you know that, right?” He said softly. You hugged him back and smiled. “Well, I’m definitely not the best, but I’m glad I could help you.” You said softly. He grinned and then he looked down at you. You were still small compared to him. Maybe even smaller because he had grown even more. You were cute when he held you, he really thought so. Maybe he should thank you for looking out for him by taking you out or something? He definitely had to think up something, because he wanted to thank you properly.

what dramas would you rec? except the ones with shinhye ive seen them all lmao
HOO BOY imma spam u with a lot of them that i watched and loved there’s a lot so this goes under the cut sorry for the wall of text:
reply 1988(!!!!!), reply 1997 - (havent seen reply 1994) both are very heartfelt and really make you feel for the main characters and really dive into the Zeitgeist, their humor is pretty silly and some of the plot is based on a love triangle, but honestly the kind that doesn’t annoy TOO much. 1988 is THE BEST drama i’ve ever watched i honestly Will Tear Up if i hear a song that was an ost for it… it’s not just fixed on the love lines but also shows you the characters as people, tells more about the parents of the main characters and kinda makes you understand all the people that surround the leads and not just leave them 2-dimensional person cutouts with a quirk like a lot of other dramas are guilty of,  which i really appreciate….. a MUST
age of youth - sometimes funny sometimes real, it’s about 5 girls that room together, how they get along (or don’t) about their lives and how different they are. a good watch
school 2013 - lovely drama about the hardships of a high-schooler without any (!) love lines!!! tbh tho has a v heavily implied one between the two male characters played by lee jongsuk and kim woobin (if you look at everything through gay glasses like i do ahahaha) it doesn’t have too many tacky cliche kdrama things in it so i appreciate that
doctor stranger - to continue on my lee jongsuk spree (i lob him) this drama!.. it’s wild tbh! it does have the tackiness and cliches but tbh?? it’s worth it…. if you like genius doctors and north korean spies and this sort of thing this is the drama for you
it’s okay it’s love - lovely drama that touches upon issues of mental health and makes you genuinely care for the main two characters!
my love from another star - THE kdrama to watch.. tacky cliched but funny and heartbreaking.. i avoided it for so long because it was very popular and i feared it’s another Heirs (*shudder*) but it’s everything you would want from a kdrama tbh! alien with superpowers, evil ceo’s and all of that junk
signal - crime drama if you’re into those, very interesting plot about a detective from today talking with a detective from the past through a walkie talkie. REALLY good casting like i loved the characters and how the actors portrayed them
weighlifting fairy kim bukjoo - pros: cute and hilarious. cons: makes u wanna have a bf/gf SO BAD!!!! veeeeery good drama!!!!!!!!
moon lovers - lmao…. its’’ interesting… it was the first period drama i ever watched (technically the main character is transported back in time but n e ways) and i was on a weird rush waiting every week for the next episode so idk if i can judge it objectively.. but it was rlly good the princes are all super handsome and i quite enjoyed the production value of their costumes sets and shots.. be warned itll break ur heart
next are a few that i either havent finished or would rate as a 4:
healer - i never finished this one bc.. idk…. i got distracted i guess?? but it’s VERY good, a lil tacky a lil funny, a lil thrillery, a lil romancey, keeps a good balance between these imo
goblin - the HIT of the season which i was too disinterested to finish tbh ahahah… i’m not saying it’s bad it’s just i personally had beef with goblin’s character (hes a DOUCHE), but even if you don’t like him like i do it’s still worth watching for the side-romance (*for the grim reaper :3 )
w two worlds - another lee jongsuk drama with a very cool idea abt manhwa characters living in a parallel world and sometimes being able to pass here and viceversa, but imo got too dramatic at some point so i dropped it, but some people liked it all the way through so!
i hear your voice - never finished it bc the age difference of the 2 main characters didnt sit right with me, but like, its lee jongsuk :3
misaeng - postponed it indefinitely and mb dropped it?? but it’s very sweet but maybe not too eventful, talks about office life and relationships you build there, pretty good one
kill me heal me - i actually finished this one but WITH SO MUCH PAIN!!! the light comedy segments of it are v good, and the plot is pretty interesting (abt a man with dissociative identity disorder). but the drama/plot part is SO OBNOXIOUS like you’ll have to watch the same flashback shots at least 5 times in every episode and it takes them THE ENTIRE SHOW to get to the ~big reveal~ instead of like… talking once.. to each other… a lot of ppl liked it but i personally dont recommend
the lover* - the * is bc it’s hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm maybe not really a drama but like short comedy sketches but in a drama-ish format?? their humor is very Hit or Miss, but if it’s a hit you get to watch a canonically gay relationship (*crush) :^)
