Meet the crew of my main webcomic project !

The crew of a flying ship, and dragon hunters ... More info about them under the cut ! (more stuff is tagged as oc:dragon hunter on my blog if you want to check it out)

Eve of House Albret: the main character, whose purpose is to seek out the voices in the sky she hears since childhood.

Lambert of House Dramm: The captain of the ship, he is an ancient royal scientist who figured out how to harness dragon magic.

Faust Vanin: Right and of Lambert (and . ..best friend . .. ), he takes care of accounting stuff.

Louve: A mysterious knight. They're the one who give the killing blow to their prey. They're mute and use LSF. (french sign language)

Hildegarde de Hautecoure (aka Ida): The magician of the ship. She has a tragic past and was welcomed in the crew in spite of it. She is the only one close to Louve, who was the one who brought her on the ship.

Blanche: She is the boat mechanic. Genius in her domain, she is the successor of Lambert.

Mahaut: The tracker of the crew. Being a glouton - a creature who eats magic - she is very sensitive to the magic that come from dragons.

Varseiss: A dragon. He is the mount of Louve. What is a dragon doing on a dragon hunting crew? Well he is a magic addict and this is the way to sate his appetite.

fine morning F60° at 8 ¾ - and breakfast till near 10 – then enclosed the 2 little notes for Miss Gassie in an envelope with bien des compliments de la part de Madame Lister written just within the envelope and wrote note in my own name to Dr. Double n°3 Quai Voltaire to ask him to come this evening or tomorrow after 7 – out at 10 ¼ - A- and I in very decent landau remise – to Madame de Bourke’s n°53 R. du faubourg St. Honoré – sent for Miss Gassie and she sat a minute or 2 in the carriage – I then went to Madame de B- in her dressing gown and sat 10 minutes with her – very glad to see me – asked me to dine with her at 6 on Sunday – then to Perrelet fils r. de Rohan to leave our watches – the cocher could not find the street, must time lost – left my watch and Madame P- (he out) having no watch to land me, I took A-‘s for the day – 12 before we got to Perrelets’ – then sought in vain for Madame Hautecoeur – then chez Mr. Monod Rue du faubourg St. Martin n°80 to see if he knew of any Swiss at the protestant school as lady’s maid – would ask his mother and gave me the address of the maitresse of the pension – Madame Langeland, au pensionnat protestant, 2 Rue des deux portes St. Jean – then Passage des Panoramas – A- had a little gateau de riz and we had each a meringue – then bought gloves and ribands chez Watelin in the passage till 2 10 – then to the bank Ferrère Laffitte, r. Laffitte, n°36 – exchange 25/40 = 1270 fr. for circular £50 n°1074 then to Galignani – no newspaper kept for me – so took the last 4 days and ordered the paper to Meurices’ till Wednesday morning inclusive and paid en tout that remained owing 14/50. and A- bought a couple of books – then r. des neuve St. Augustin des Madame Contant who gave us the address of Madame Hautecour r. des vieux Augustins – then ordered black velvet bonnet to be 65/. for myself and to come home on Monday – then r. de l’université n°5 at 4 20 Madame de N- received me after I had waited some minutes and read an interesting article in the Journal des Debats of this morning on the Mediterranean – to be a lac Français – Madame de N- very civil and glad to see me, ditto ditto Mr. de Noé who came in just before I came away at 4 40 A- had been crying all the time then to r. St. V. brought back the things we left there – home at 6 10 – ordered the coachman to take another pair of horses and go for Miss Gassie at 7 ½ - dinner at 6 20 – had just done when Miss Gassie came – about ¼ hour after Dr. Double came – shewed Miss Gassie into my room where she sat while Dr. S- staid – A- should take a course of medicine here for 2 or 2 ½ months – should go and see her aunt for 10 days and then return – to think of this and he would come gain same hour on Monday evening – A- much improved – and this 2 ½ months medicine would he was sure complete the cure – kept Miss Gassie till after 9 – then sat talking to A- till near 10 – nous verrons – poor A- Doctor Double leads her we shall probably return I must settle my affairs as well as I can and manage as well as I can but she leaves me no liberty she is like an incubus on me I must see about it she will be no better I think for Double’s medicine than his bathing at the Pyrenees but she will be a good friend to doctors by and by Had Josephine and wrote all the above of today till 10 ½ at which hour F65 ¼° - then at accounts till 10 ¾ - then at memoranda etc. till 11 10 – then sat looking over 1 thing or other till 12 – Knight on the phallic worship etc.

2. What do they do when they're feeling tired and need to stay awake? Generally Langley put some music. Often with earbud. That help him to keep his eyes open, and focus on what he have to do. He also drink coffee, lot of strong black coffee without sugar.

4. Pizza, McDonalds, or Chinese take-out? He loooooves pizza, but don’t eat that much, trying to keep that for moment with Davin, his son. After, he like take out in general, not only Chinese ones. But never McDonalds. he’s not fond of them.

6. How do they feel about unrequited love? Well, he know what it is, because he’s in love with his associate, but his associate don’t seems to share that (in Langley’s mind) Cillian seems to be a good friend but not interested by the old man. 8. Gold, silver, or copper jewelry? Silver. Gold is too blingbling.

10. Do they use Instagram, Facebook, or Tumblr? If so, how much/often? He have a facebook, but never goes on it, and didn’t even finished to edit the profil. He have instagram, and they’re he’s active. It’s Davin who showed him this, and they both loved the idea to share photo that way. So yeah Langley is very active on instagram.

12. How are they at taking care of plants? Quite well, sometimes he forget to put some water on it, but that’s not that important. Langley is able to keep green around him. He have lots of plants in his house.

14. How did they do academically in high school? He was good. A serious and good student, with good notation and good results.

16. How do they like their eggs?If it’s cooked, then he will like it. He’s not complicated with food.

18. Queso or guacamole?guacamole is a little + for him. He love guacamole.

20. How do they behave when confronted with deadlines? OOOOh that’s a funny one. Langley will look like he’s calm and can do whatever he wants things will be alright, but in reality, he’s stressed as hell, and start sometimes to do shit... like singing instead of speaking, because he’s stressed. He always finish things perfectly, but when the end of the deadline is coming, he’s clumsy.

22. What fictional character do they relate to the most? Good question. Georges Hautecour, the lawyerin The Aristocats because he want to be like him when he will be old as heck.

24. When forced to do a group project with other people, what role do they usually play? The one doing research for everybody. He was always in the book, good in analyse, all this kind of stuff.

26. How would your muse do at taking care of a goldfish? He never had one. He always preferred cats, and cats don’t work well with goldfish.

28. Android, iPhone, or other?Iphone. Easier for him to use

30. Trendsetter, trend follower, or trend ignorer? Trend ignorer I believe. He do what he want, even if he know what’s the trends are.

32. What's their ideal vacation?He’s rather simple. Doing some trip around the country, or Ireland is really welcome for him. He’s not into these fancy travel to Caribbean. He prefer to discover the history of place than taking the sun. 34. Are they outdoorsy? Do they enjoy hiking, camping, etc.? If it’s occasional, yes he love doing some camping. But that have to be an holiday, not all the time. He love to be in comfy place too. He often goes back in Devon see his parents, or go to some travel with Michael, but always in some nice bed and breakfast. That make him laugh ones, he was in France with Michael, and people believed they were a couple. What was more priceless was the face of the people when they explained that Michael was the new husband of Langley ex-wife, and they were very good buddies.

36. What colors make up most of their wardrobe? Blue and grey. Langley is a deep fan of blue suits, and have tons of them. Same for the shoes. 38. Do they play video games? If so, which ones?He play some with Davin times to times, the ones that his son have and who gives the possibility to play with more than one controller. Can be car’s game like need for speed, the assassin’s creed unity in co-op because Langley is dumb there and that’s funny, Rayman because they laugh so much with it, but rarely wars games like call of duty.

40. What kind of videos do they get recommended on YouTube? Music generally, or documentary. He watch some documentary that he didn’t had time to see on the tv there.

42. How do they feel about astrology? Langley love to read that, even if he know that’s bullshit. That make him laugh the morning when he take his breakfast. But he don’t take a single thing seriously.

44. Have they ever had any pregnancy scares?Well... no.

46. Do they meme? Enjoy memes? Create memes? Find them horribly annoying? How about shitposts? He likes meme but don’t do them. That make him laugh if he see one but don’t goes into that a lot. 48. When do they usually go to bed? When he’s tired and that his work is done. Rarely before 11pm and rarely after 2am. That depend really of the work he have to do. And he wake up all the morning at 7am.

50. What do they think is the meaning of life?Being happy. it’s the only thing that Langley trust and want in his life. Having his family around, laughing, enjoying moment with them.
