"insightful, sammy," delaney huffed, glancing up in frustration from where she'd been fixing up her duffle bag. they'd surely be on the move the next morning now that they were done with this hunt. another hunt where she'd been threatened by the demon they were hunting. reminding her of her fate if her father were to ever get out of the cage. a fate she really rather not think about, thank you very much. she loved her older brother more than anything. sam was practically like her best friend with the two of them only being nine months apart. but sometimes she wanted to shake him. "really. because i don't think our lives will let that happen. not with what's looming over us both. what am i supposed to do?"
