Prolog:
Bier macht bekanntlich hungrig, also ab in die Altstadt.
Alles richtig gemacht.
In diesem Sinne: ACAH! S.F. (Frouser)

Liverpool tightened its grip on the English Premier League with a thumping 4-0 win at second-place Leicester City on Boxing Day. The Reds took the lead in the 31st minute, when Roberto Firmino headed home a Trent Alexander-Arnold delivery, before a burst of three goals in seven second- half minutes lifted Liverpool 13 points clear at the top of the table. Liverpool were awarded a 71st-minute penalty after the ball struck Caglar Soyuncu’s arm in the six-yard box. Substitute James Milner, introduced to the action moments earlier, stepped up to stroke home the spot-kick, giving the visitors a 2-0 lead. Firmino doubled his personal tally to make it 3-0 four minutes later, a sweet passing movement culminating in Alexander-Arnold squaring the ball for the Brazilian to find the net. Alexander-Arnold put the result beyond doubt when he sent a low drive across Schmeichel on 78 minutes. Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored the only goal 10 minutes from time to move Everton up to 13th, four points above the English Premier League’s relegation zone. LEICESTER, England — Even now, Liverpool’s fans will not sing that song. Not after Jürgen Klopp’s team swept aside Leicester City, currently its closest rival in the Premier League title race. Not after a 4-0 win, and not after the most imperious performance it has produced this season, which is no light compliment given that Liverpool has won 17 of its 18 games so far, and tied the other.

September 22, 2019
Sunday was another day at Oktoberfest! Ingvar and I woke up around 8, with a lot of sleep, actually. We got ready and into our dirndl and lederhosen, and then headed out! We were meeting Aaron at the HBF, so that we could help him get his ticket to Venice, for the day after Ingvar and I were heading there. We found a scooter so we scooted to the metro station, then rode to HBF. We met Aaron upstairs, where I helped him get his ticket, and Ingvar got him and I some breakfast. He got me the best chocolate croissant I’d had so far! And I helped Aaron get the same train as us, just one day later.
The three of us went down to the subway and caught the metro to Oktoberfest! We wanted to check out a different tent, since yesterday we tried Paulaner. So this day, we started at Hofbrouhaus! The famous tavern that Ingvar and I went to our first night in Munich. It was pretty full, even at 10:30! We found a table with three American’s from Chicago, so we sat down with them. Ingvar, Aaron, and I started our way with radlers, which is half beer and half lemonade. It’s nice, since it’s so early in the day for drinking. The Chicago people were nice and had just arrived! They didn’t even get to change or check into their room at their hotel! What troopers, to go right to Oktoberfest!
The three of us stayed the for a bit, where Ingvar got sausages and potato salad, and Aaron and I shared some potato salad. It rocked his world, too! I’m tellin’ ya, there is something about the potato salad! Ingvar wasn’t feeling too well, unfortunately. His stomach was upset, and he though he slept on his thumb wrong, so it was jammed or sprained. He decided to call it a day. He left from the Hofbrauhaus, while Aaron and I stayed a while longer. We made friends with some New Zealanders (kiwis) that were sitting next to us, then decided to head to another tent.
The next tent we hit up was Spatenbrau. We sat next to a really nice German couple and some German friends. They told us this tent was known for its tasty food, and less for its party atmosphere. We had a beer there, then went to one more tent before calling it quits, Augustiner-Brau. We met three American military members, working in Italy. The girl used to live in Birch Bay! How wild is that! Aaron and I had one more beer and shared a half chicken. It was soooo tasty!
Around 6, we decided to take the train back to HBF, and then go our separate ways. We forgot that I had Aaron’s train ticket in my purse! Oh no, thankfully my phone was on, so we met at a stop in the middle, so he could get his ticket. Woops! I continued my way home, where Ingvar let me in with the key, since I had given it to him earlier. He had had a relaxing afternoon watching soccer and snoozing, so I’m glad he was feeling better. We got ready for bed and called it an early night, since we had to get up at 6 the next morning for our train to Venice! :]
