legit conversation went somewhat like this

Frieza: this is my son, that's how he broke out of his egg

Gohan: you mean his dippy?

Frieza: wha- it's not a dippy that's his horn

Later

Frieza and you know what that earthling called his horn?

Cell: you mean his dippy?

Frieza: >:(

it just became universal that "dippy" was a word that existed after gohan said it that was the joke
