#he’s my favourite of the convocation of elders for a reason#and it’s not just because of his story featuring black pearl#he’s clearly the most down to earth and levelheaded of the entire group#he’s arguably the only one not focused on power and self fulfilment#he and his crew sail through the dusk gloom sea because he wants to protect the city’s citizens#not because of the rewards he’ll be offered but because it’s the right thing to do#not to mention he’s also the only elder that doesn’t live lavishly#he doesn’t have mansion and guards and other people waiting on him hand and foot#he’s a pirate. he lives the pirate life#not to mention he also genuinely cares for his crew#compared to the morally corrupt and power hungry majority of the elders#he’s like. the only good one#which is why i was surprised to see him there in the first place#captain caviar cookie#cookie run kingdom
