Once upon a time my fiancé had a handful of glowcrons
Here's one I painted up to join my Nihilakh army
#warhammer 40k#wh40k#miniature painting#necrons#miniatures#necron#nihilakh dynasty#he bought them during the transitional period from clear rods to the modern-day barrels#so the other necron models he had just... have the current versions#none of his immortals have the clear rods either. the manual he got with the box of that time showed a mixture of glowcrons and new!#i thought it was a fun bit of history 😄#i like the old and new rods more or less the same so i'll keep them as they are#also i have decided my nihilakh warriors are still Very Gold and Fancy and the higher up the hierarchy it will only get fancier 😆#the overlord(s) i will run them with are haughtily prideful of their wealth and would want to show off at every opportunity i think
