no but - bumi ?? growing out his hair after retiring ?? finally fully embracing his water tribe roots ?? we love to see it !!!
#BUMI 「study」#this happens AFTER he gets his bending#instead of getting closer to the air nomads customs#- which he had NEVER felt like he was part of btw even with both aang and tenzin trying to include him -#after the harmonic convergence bumi slowly heals from his traumas and in turn#accepts himself as a multicultural/mixed individual#he grows closer to his mother's culture as his spiritual side grows#he may not be an example airbender but he is fairly talented with spiritual things#this reflects on him starting to wear more water tribe attires ( to tenzin's dismay lmao ) and growing out his hair#by the time he is a fully formed airbender aka ready to get his tattoos he's got a similar hairstyle to his grandpa hakoda#the beard stays tho#he does not feel inclined to get the tattoos - 1) he wont shave his head and 2) he doesnt want a bunch of arrows coming outta his ass#jokes aside - he probs gets tattoos on his arms and legs just to appease his little bro
