josh not being able to survive the violent revolution is absolute bullshit that makes me mad to this day, but what even is death in an android world? if you gave him enough blue blood and had spare body parts on hand, would be able to come back?

#like if the jericrew succeed and gain access to android production plants could they bring josh back to life?#he doesn’t get shot in the head so his main operating system/memories/personality should be fine right?#although even if he was shot in the head markus has clearly proven that even that isn’t a permanent roadblock #ig you could make a case for josh not /wanting/ to come back to a victory won by a violent method but i chose to trust him as a man of his #word and if he says that he’ll follow markus no matter what then he’ll follow markus no matter what!#idc what the actual answer is: i now accept this as canon 🙏#like i get that a choice based videogame has to have meaningful consequences for your choices for it to feel like an actual experience but #none of your choices impact if josh lives or dies!! the ONLY thing that means he dies in the final chapter is if you pick the violent #revolution!! nothing else!! not your relationship!! not your success as a leader up until this point!! absolutely nothing!! just as soon as #you pick anything other than demonstration he’s dead #it just makes me so goddamn sad like :( josh who never wanted this choosing to go against his morals because he 100% believes that markus is #the one who will lead the androids to freedom. and none of that matters because he gets gunned down the second he steps into battle :(#he must’ve been so scared :(#josh #dbh #mine
