Cult of the Lamb Cosplay!

In one of my most recent posts I gave thanks to VanhooverPE for the awesome convention I was very happy to go to! what I didn't mention however was that I was in cosplay! I was wearing my fully finished COTL Lamb cosplay and was super fortunate to meet amazingly talented VA’s such as Ellie Ray and Tabitha St Germaine and Mark Hamill and meet incredibly talented artists such as @therealakineko​ and Gobiraptor and BoomPOP  and Waffle Wishes  I also got to compete in the awesome cosplay contest hosted by Crackle’s Cousin Cosplay where I was overjoyed to win the advanced category and best in show! and now for what anyone reading this has actually been waiting for! THE PICTURES!!! (I took tons so I’m just posting some of my faves)

the con started on a Friday the 13th so this brilliant madlad combined Pinkie Pie with Jason!!! the chainsaw actually WORKS and plays music! they made it themselves and I was super lucky that I got permission to hold it for a few photos!

this is Gobiraptor in her ADORABLE fursuit! (I bought a hanging wall-scroll version of the Velvet Remedy blanket behind her along with the matching enamel pin and a GORGEOUS Derpy Seraphim pin!)

I wanted to share all the con pics at once!) it was SO busy but I went in a group with my friends and for one of them it was his first time EVER at a con AND he tried to cosplay!(and did a pretty good job too!) super happy for him!

I FOUND THE OTHER LAMB! no joke I’d been looking for over 3 hours so it was awesome to finally find them right before we were leaving!

they let me hold their sword too! overall I’ve had a blast being the Lamb! might wear this again for another convention in the future but for now I’m happy to post pics of my adventures wearing the second cosplay costume I’ve ever made in my life!

who did you first notice in tbz and why? Hmm, this is hard to say. Before I was a deobi, I saw moots talking about Sunwoo and Changmin because they biased them, and I also heard of Eric (and his friendship with Felix) from said friends, and also learned that there's two more English speakers called Jacob and Kevin. I then got shipped with Younghoon once so I looked up their profile to look at him (and the others). Then I decided that Chanhee is the one who catches my eye most and called him /a bias/. After that, I noticed Hyunjun because of his airport fashion that I adored. And eventually it was Kevin and his cute self as Simply Kpop MC who caught my eye so much that I decided to stan (he's still my bias while Chanhee is my most dangerous bias wrecker haha). But honestly, I'm not sure which member I noticed first as I heard of some members through friends and not because I noticed them on my own - soooooo, you guys decide, idk.😂👉🏻👈🏻

favourite laugh in tbz?  This was so hard to decide... tbh, I really like Moonbae's laugh because - and I might be biased here - my own laugh is a mixture of Jacob's giggles and Kevin's mute suffering/dying 🤚🏻😭 But I also really like Chanhee's and Sunwoo's laugh, they're just so straightforward and loud, it's endearing :'))

if you can only meet 3 tbz members, who would it be? either Kevin, Jacob and Eric (no language barrier haha) or Kevin, Chanhee, and Changmin. I'm 100% sure about Kevin though, I need to see my ult <3 😭

first tbz song you ever heard?  uhmmmm, I think that was actually Boy because I watched their music video when they debuted (I thought a group called "The Boyz" that debuts with a song called "Boy" was super hilarious, so I wanted to check it out ajxjjsks) but I didn't start stanning them back then :( As you can see, sometimes I make bad decisions haha

1 unpopular tbz opinion? hmm, I don't think this is an unpopular opinion?? But idk what would be one since I don't really keep up with fandoms' opinions as I focus more on the artists (fandoms - in general - can be toxic, so I prefer not to engage too much and keep fangirling among my friends/mutuals - in a space where I feel comfortable and safe to express myself), so I'll just talk about /an opinion/ - not knowing whether it's unpopular or not akdkskd. So, tbz are still a bit of an "underrated" group, they've gained a lot of new fans through RTK (edit: I wrote this - all questions - before kingdom) but still, I feel like they deserve more recognition, especially for their performances. I feel like they're one of the best 4th gen performers (I will never forget RTK Reveal stage and Reveal/Checkmate MAMA stage - Hyunjae and Sunwoo going up on that thing - that I don't know what it's called in English - is SO AMAZING, LIKE WHUAT??? Honestly, these will always belong to my favourite performances because it was seriously mind-blowing.

So yes, I just feel like they'd deserve a lot more appreciation and recognition for these amazing stages that they deliver!! They must be working SO hard and they're so in sync and just aaaah, it's so satisfying to watch them dance and perform, you know. The world is missing out,,,,🤧🤧

which tbz member is most similar to you? I actually rewrote this answer because I always thought it was Kevin... I still believe we have lots in common but I recently found out that - astrology wise (according to the pattern app) - I'm /very similar/ to Jacob!! The pattern app tells you how similar you are to other people based on your birth charts and there's similarity levels from: very different < somewhat similar, but mostly different < similar < very similar and I kid you not, I've probably looked at my similarity level with at least 100 people (idols, family members, friends) and while I've gotten "similar" with lots of people - Kevin for example - I've only gotten "very similar" with 3 people so far. And one of those 3 people just so happens to be Jacob, so wow! I had no idea that we're that similar based on our charts - but I guess our air sun and shared Leo rising and also shared Virgo & Pisces placements make it make sense ෆ╹ᴗ╹ෆ sorry for the ramble, I'm still so overjoyed with being so similar to him🤚🏻😭

And for today’s update! March 28th~

I went around and took some pics of a few projects I’m working on, as well as house exterior updates and checked in with our villagers 😊

My house is becoming my perfect island getaway. I am LOVING the location I picked, I’m loving the flowers I’m getting, and I’m so happy with how I have it set up, now. I love my little seaside table and bonfire, and it’s not in the picture, but on the other side of that coconut tree with the chair, I have a radio that plays tunes~

Amber’s moved their house up to the higher point in the back of the island, and loving the isolated area. They’ve been working on it since a few days ago and they’re stoked to see their house there finally! I’m excited to see how they continue to make their space more their own.

I haven’t given our islanders proper introductions, but I would like to say I LOVE Peggy. She’s such a sweetheart and so fashionable. Today she was chillin’ in her house, reading what I presume to be a fashion magazine. What a queen.

Bettina, our little chef, was smelling all the flowers she could get her nose in! Carrying around a delicious little sandwich, which I presume she made herself~ She’s becoming one of my faves.

Mac’s doin’ stretches outside his house. Glad he’s making sure to stretch before and after working out!

Tammy’s being wistful by my place, on the beach... not sure what she’s thinkin’ about but I hope it’s good stuff.

I could not for the life of me find Nate. Maybe he’s sleeping in his house?

As for projects, the only one I captured pics of for now is the community garden!

I’m SO stoked with how this is turning out, and I’m just so happy it’s looking so nice. Was overjoyed to find the fountain as an option and it looks beautiful in our wonderful little garden.

Will get more pics of the projects around town soon, when they’re starting to come together better! 😊💖

Hey Kata! How are you? Long time no chat, ive just caught up with your blig and I had some questions if thats okay!So when it comes to canines and your love of mutts would you be against people sharing their mutts with you? Also I noticed you had Gustave Doré on your influence map and can I just say it is SO COOL to see that cause I can totally see how his work has influenced yours and it totally explains one reason I love your work! Any other “famous”/classical artists you love?

BRANN my guy my dude, I’m doing alright, thank you! Living exciting times, I was recently accepted into a university and will be starting my Graphic Design studies in a few weeks. After cleaning hotel rooms for 4 long years, I’m overjoyed to leave everything behind (except for my dog, obviously) and basically start my life over.

But yeah my fave artists ummm let’s see! I have a ton of them but here’s a few I could think of:

I love Francisco Goya’s work, especially the Black Paintings and other witch-y artwork of his. They have been said to satirize people’s fear of the supernatural (note that Goya lived in an era when it was still risky to be accused of witchcraft, so I’d imagine creating surreal and nightmarish pieces might’ve been a daring act). Interesting person, interesting art.

Louis Wain. Not only do I look up to this man for his artistic skills, but also his passion for creating art. To those who don’t know, Wain either had Asperger syndrome or suffered from a serious mental illness. Despite spending his final years in a mental hospital he kept creating amazing art until the end. As someone who has an irrational fear of “going mad” and losing my skills/will to draw, Louis’ work reminds me of the fact that even severe illnesses/disabilities are not always the end of the world (or career).

I think Bragolin’s bizarre artwork of crying children is worth a mention as well! My mum had an obsession with his paintings and after spending a fair portion of my childhood staring at 2 massive prints of these weeping kids, the artist’s work has definitely stuck with me. If I ever get around learning how to paint, Bragolin’s style will definitely be a great inspiration to me.

Not sure if Annie-Claude Martin counts as “classical” artist, but she illustrated A Treasury of Fairy Tales which was my favorite book as a kid. I absolutely love her style, especially the way she drew animals and fur details.

Someone’s new office, new bedroom, with tiny kitchen but cozy, tiny but spacious, and comfort room and balcony. And garden. Someone’s living in his wildest dream. So mashaaAllah, I love the details of the new floor kase brown and cream— parang vanilla nrn— one of my greatest faves!✨

Actually hnd ko pa pala naflex ung bahay sa cdo na pinarenovate din niya, Mom and Dad must be so proud of him! Thank you for taking it back kuya and even fully furnished it with a bath tub na lagi ko din sinasabe sayo. Yes, pinacondo type din niya. Para hnd nrn kami pumupunta sa mga hotel or oneoasis when vacation. Maliban kung merun big or special family occasion. Alhamdulillah coz we have so many happy family memories in that house, we have spent our/my childhood and college days niyo with other kuyas there and our growing up days even without Dad na— just part of all our lives— and for all I know it’s our second home, plus dun ginastos ni mom yung half sa pension ni Dad. Coz Mom don’t ever think even once in her life of giving it up. So it has super sentimental value. And so glad you took it back. At least man lang nabawi at hnd nwala memories and efforts nila mom and dad, thank you and ALHAMDULILLAH✨

Wala pala ako raw pics ng bahay... pang instagrammable lang pinagkukunan ko. (Instagrammable tlga yan?😂 Yan pala ung foods na hnd naubos na ni order namin from foodpanda delivery😬) I can’t find the other photos of the house. Still the older structure and ceiling of the house but more new look and renovated. It’s just enough and cozy. With spacious terrace and, sarap sa pakiramdam magpray doon ng fajr. Makikita mo tlga ung sunrise after praying and wait there for few minutes. If only if Mom sees and experienced the fully furnished version of the house sa third floor🥺 I’m sure she’ll be overjoyed. The last time kase ksama namin si mommy dun din kami nagsstay sa third floor wala pang roofing yung terrace tapos hnd dun makatambay kase mainit. (Plus, mga renter doon ngaun, mababait and clean)
