I side with Xeno on being an instigator! How would the other 5 wise generals (plus Hyoga and Tsukasa) react to Pick Me vs S/Os?

Senku thinks it’s hilarious. He’s not dense in the slightest, but he doesn’t notice at first simply because he’s not paying her any mind. He’s focused on his work, S/O, and his friends. He does take notice eventually though. This random girl is hanging off him and complimenting his brains and looks. Okay???? Get to work then. He mostly ignores her until it interferes with either his S/O or the Kingdom of Science’s work, heaven forbid both. He and S/O would be sitting in the lab tent talking and working on something. Senku is probably the happiest he’s been since this stone world fiasco. In comes Pick Me to tell him she finished her task and wants to help with his.

“Me and S/O have it. This is a delicate process.”

Oh but she insists. She wants to learn about science after all.

Senku is kinda skeptical and weighs his options.

“Well I suppose three people can speed this process. S/O can you show her how to do it?”

“Mhm!”

S/O is happy to teach her much to Pick Me’s dismay. Senku keeps an eye on the interaction and takes note of how irritated Pick Me looks at S/O’s excitement to teach her science. It kinda pisses him off. Pick Me tolerates S/O’s lesson and starts to work.

Senku and S/O fall back into their rhythm and start discussing whatever they were talking about before. Pick Me lowkey has no clue what they’re saying, something about atoms. She listens for a while before she realizes they’re discussing a more efficient way to do what they’re doing. So she decides to join the conversation after S/O says theirs and gives her idea in the cockiest tone possible, implying S/O is the stupid one.

S/O and Senku look at each other then to her. S/O looks sympathetic and Senku laughs in her face.

“Actually, S/O is right. You can do your idea if you wanna blow off your fingers though. Maybe you aren’t the person to help with this task. I’m sure the gorilla team could use some help.”

Gen catches on immediately he finds it kinda amusing, but is more concerned about how his S/O feels and if they notice in the first place. He’s used to people like that from when he was famous, nothing new. But he doesn’t take kindly to people bothering or undermining his S/O. He’d be cordial towards Pick Me, though he’d embarrass her a lot. He’d do things like move at the last second when she tries to hug him so she falls or pretend to not know what she’s talking about when she says something to him. But none of it would look like he’s being mean, that’s how good he is. But the thing is , it doesn’t start this way. He only started being mean because he caught her trying to make his S/O feel bad. An unforgivable offense!

He was looking for his S/O actually, and stumbled upon the interaction. She was asking S/O if they thought Gen was tricking them or using them. He could not believe it! He stepped in and cleared the air, turning it around on Pick Me instead. Then when she got uncomfortable he turned to his S/O.

“I didn’t fall for anything she was saying , Gen.”

“I know, you’re far too smart for that. But still.”

“It was kinda cute how you came in to “save” me though.”

Ryusui may say he wants everyone but once he’s in a monogamous relationship, he only wants all of his S/O. But that doesn’t stop pick me. Ryusui knows what’s going on, he’s been around women like this all his life! So when Pick Me fawns over him and compliments his work as the ship’s Captain he just keeps his same smirk and thanks her. Ryusui does commend her though, she kept that animosity towards his S/O under wraps until she secured her spot on the Perseus. She knew that if he knew how she felt about S/O she wouldn’t have been chosen. The last thing they needed was crewmates disliking each other.

But once he took notices of her true feelings towards S/O and that the silly little crush she had on him wasn’t gonna pass because he’s taken, he was a little worried. Being out at sea for a long time can drive people to do some crazy things after all, and he doesn’t want anyone, especially his significant other, getting hurt.

Outwardly, nothing about Ryusui would change, but he does keep a closer eye on his S/O. He also confides in Senku and Gen about the situation. In any other circumstance, his boisterous and friendly personality wouldn’t change, but something about this whole scenario puts him on edge. He can’t even bring himself to grin and accept Pick Me’s praise anymore. He has that serious expression on his face, the one he has when handling business when she comes up to him singing praise.

“Thanks. I need to talk to you though.”

Pick Me thinks she’s finally won, but nope!

“Look, I’ve seen the way you look at and talk to S/O. I can’t have any animosity between crewmates, it’s dangerous. When we return to Japan from Treasure Island I’m gonna have to ask you to stay.”

Ukyo is at a loss for words. How does this even happen? I like to think he and his S/O were married before the petrification. Senku and Chrome even made them new rings out of left over materials. This is news to no-one. So why is this woman all over him?? He continues to be courteous though. He’s pretty non confrontational so he just kinda awkwardly smiles. He just gets really awkward interacting with the Pick Me. He and his S/O talk about it one night and they’re just like.

“Yeah she wants you bad. It’d be kinda funny if she wasn’t so annoying about it.”

Ukyo nods and sighs. He doesn’t act until he hears her bothering his S/O. He’s patrolling one night and he hears his S/O talking.

“We’ve been married for thousands of years at this point, so yeah I think I know him well.”

“Well I think he needs someone new and better. Like me.”

His S/O just snorts. Ukyo rushes in.

“Hey!”

“Ukyo! We were just talking-“

“Stay away from me and my S/O from now on. You’ve crossed a line.”

“But-“

“You heard the man.”

“Ugh!”

Ukyo watches her leave and sighs.

“I didn’t need you to save me, sweetness.”

“I rushed in to keep you from hurting her. Last thing we need now is a huge fight.”

He chuckles and hugs his S/O.

Chrome is both excited and confused. Excited because two people are fighting over him, confused because two people are fighting over him??? Not gonna lie, he eats up the attention at first, but then he thinks about it. Nobody from the village was all that interested in him until he got a partner and became a big shot in the Kingdom of Science. This kinda blows. He’d confide in his S/O and tell them how it kinda blows that some people only go after people when they have a partner. Not that he would have pursued them, he’s happy with his S/O. He just liked being praised😭

The next time Pick Me approaches he will deadass just look at her like

“Why are you all over me, S/O is right here. They’re the only person I need praise from. And why are you trying to pursue me anyway, you know we’re together.”

Tsukasa is another person used to women like this. The only difference is that in the stone world, he doesn’t have to pretend to tolerate it. Under all that muscle he’s a nice and genuine guy, especially to women and children, but there is only so much he will take. ESPECIALLY when it regards the love of his life.

He’s kind about talking to her at first. When she hangs off of him he politely tells her to get off and that he has a partner. He expects it to end right there. Pick Me has other plans. She continues to pursue him. And what makes him madder is that she uses his sister to get away with it. Mirai is too young to realize what’s going on with them, at least to a certain extent. But Mirai is also what leads to Pick Me’s downfall.

Tsukasa and S/O are sitting with Mirai and having a tea party. Everything is slow that day so not much for them to do other than train and hang out. Tsukasa is at peace when he hears this agitating voice asking to join. He looks at S/O who looks equally as annoyed, but for some reason they don’t say anything, which confuses him. He follows their gaze to Mirai, who was finishing making S/O a flower crown.

“Here you go, S/O! You look so pretty.”

They smile with that soft smile Tsukasa adores.

“Thank you, Mirai.”

Pick Me is about to say something when Mirai speaks again.

“Now we can play wedding.”

Tsukasa freezes and S/O just chuckles.

“Did all the flowers not give away what she had planned for us?”

Pick Me looks annoyed but sees an opportunity.

“Oh! Mirai that sounds like such a fun game. Why don’t I be the bride? I think the flowers you picked are pretty.”

“Sorry, S/O has to be the bride. My big brother likes them a lot and he said they look pretty with these kinds of flowers.”

Pick Me is taken aback by her response.

“O-Oh uh-”

"You can be the old guy who says, 'You may kiss the bride,' though!"

I don’t know why Pick Me would do this to herself. Hyoga likes like 5 people and even that is a stretch, why would she think she can come in between him and the person he likes the most.

Hyoga finds it very amusing in a very sadistic way at first. You poor pathetic girl. When she talks to him she can never tell if he’s smiling or not with his mask covering his mouth. He is, but not for why she thinks. He would lowkey set her up to embarrass her.

“Yes while I find this conversation interesting, I have to meet S/O to spar.”

“Oh I’ll come watch!”

Poor thing took the bait.

He pays no mind to her while she follows him. When he reaches his S/O, who is sitting on the ground drinking some water, he looks down at them and opens his eyes as he smiles down at them. They raise an eyebrow, knowing full well he’s up to something. When they look behind him and see Pick Me they just shake their head.

Their sparring match begins and Hyoga is a bit flirty with how he fights his S/O, though they just roll their eyes at his antics.

When they take a break, as predicted, Pick Me fawns over him and his strength.

“Wow Hyoga that was amazing. They could barely keep up.”

“Is that what you saw? Clearly you have no eye for battle then. S/O is a proper opponent and a proper lover who perfectly meets my high standards.”

S/O looks over boredly while drinking their water.

“That lover part wasn’t necessary.”

“Oh but it was. This woman believes in her mind that she is a better match for me than you.”

“I never said-“

“Oh but you did in so many words and actions. This is your perfect opportunity to prove it against S/O.”

He shoves his practice spear towards her.

“If you can’t finish what you started, can you even call yourself a proper human?”

Reader helped Senku make a bunch of his blueprints before the petrification, and once he has his footing in the kingdom of science he decides to send out a group to go looking for Reader’s statue. Only to realize it was one of the many statue’s tsukasa destroyed >:) how do you think yuzuriah would react when she realizes one of the latest statues she repaired was Reader’s? How quickly would Senku try to revive reader after the war with tsukasa is over?

Back in the modern world, Senku would most of the time not make his own blueprints. After all, that's why he had [Name] with him. She didn't complain, happy that her drawing skills would at least help him with his learning passion of science.

The two are childhood friends, Senku had practical dragged [Name] in his goal of making a spacecraft, seeing the girl doodle in her notebook during lunch time, taking this to his advantage, the trio was born, before Yuzuriha joined a couple years later.

Up until the purification, she was always by his side, equally showing his excitement in Science because that meant being useful to him by making blueprints and getting his praise!

Drinking his energy drink, Senku looks over at the girl for a brief moment as she happily draws out his idea.

"[Name]!" She looks up confused, hearing his voice only to see a bright light coming straight to her.

"Ah shit." She says, dropping her sketch book.

It had been 3700+ years since the world was turned to stone, Senku had tried to look for [Name]'s statue when he had free time but no luck. After Gen had found him wandering around the forest, he knew that Senku quietly looking for someone must mean that they're very important to him.

So, with a little convincing, gathered some of the villagers look for the statue.

When they did actually find said statue, Senku had stood before all the broken pieces of the broken stone. He didn't say anything at first before quietly thanking everyone for their help with the search.

Bending down to gather the broken stones, Gen noticed his shoulder slightly shaking.

After winning the war with Tsukasa, he handed the broken pieces to Yuzuriha before quietly telling her to fix this statue inside the small hut besides the laboratory. Yuzuriha agreed to do so, a little confused with how serious he was. Even stating that fixing this statue would be her first priority with the other ones.

The girl spent days working on it, and Senku wouldn't dare come inside until Yuzuriha was almost done. Stepping back to see if the pieces matched, she almost dropped the pot filled with the substance she used to glue the stones back together, eyes wide with disbelief.

"[Name]?" She says in agony, hands shaking. Sure, she fixed a lot of statues in the past, but to fix one of her best friends makes her want to vomit. Especially knowing that Tsukasa had taken part in her destruction since she was found near the Tsukasa empire.

After crying a bit, she was determined to fix [Name] now, fired up, spending three days without resting.

And soon enough, her best friend was fixed up.

Upon Yuzuriha telling Senku that she finally finished fixing [Name] up, he went over and dumped the revival fluid, a bottle of it he had hidden away when the three had left to escape Tsukasa in the beginning.

For the sole purpose of using it on [Name].

Yuzuriha squeal, clearly shocked on how he didn't hesitate, "Wait, Senku! She's not waring any-"

The [H/C] haired girl fell into his arms, unconscious, her hair barely covering her chest as Senku held her. A genuine smile on his lips as the girl slowly opened her eyes, eyes unfocused before looking up at Senku.

".." She blinks slowly, only to be met with a sight that she would never think she would ever see from Senku. The boy was trying to suppress his tears from rolling down his face but failing as the tears hit her face.

Ignoring the fact that she was completely naked, she comforted him first before Yuzuriha gave her clothes. While helping her face in them, Senku had his back facing them, rubbing his eyes, and ears flushed red.

Its been a couple weeks since [Name] was back, Senku would regular check her over, stating he wanted to make sure there wasn't an lingering side effects of the purification since she was put back together.

She was happily working on blue prints, Senku had made her a sketch book and pencils for her to work with. When he had mentioned building a ship, she went straight to work, laying down on the floor near to the telescope, completely in her work when she feels a hand on her legs, holding them down. Confused, she looks up to see it was Ssnku, looking a little annoyed.

"Oi, you're not wearing pants, so stop kicking your legs in the air. Someone can walk in and see under your dress." He says as she lets out a grumble since she's been interrupted.

Sitting down beside her, he looks over her designs. "Are these blueprints for the ship?" He asked. She nods, looking up at him as she rolls over on her back, legs pressed together and bent.

Her eyes stay on him as he flops the pages only to givgle quietly, "What's so funny?" He asked looking down at her.

"Oh, nothing. I just realized that nothing has really changed since the world changed. We always did this in your room, remember?" Smiling happily, she says

"...i guess you're right." He says, pushing the sketchbook onto her face as she complains about it, completely unaware of the way Senku's face is red. He's just glad that these moments stayed the same even if the world changed drastically.

There was one day when you guys were building the Perseus and you overheard some people smack talking Ryusui 

“I bet that new guy Ryusui doesn’t care about saving anyone. I’m sure he’s just making us build this thing just so he can have one.”

Your head quickly perks up, eyeing the random npc who said that 

“Excuse me??” You say, “Ryusui would NEVER do something like that”

Now you’re all up in this guys face

“Don’t even think for a second that Ryusui is so selfish that he doesn’t care about anyone at all! He’s the kindest person in the world and don’t you ever forget that again!”

When you were hearing some of the villagers smack talking about him because of all the work that he gives them

Chrome has always been called weird for his “sorcery”

Thankfully Senku thought fast and decided to petrify you to rescue you.

He sternly told Gen the details will have to come later, you saving you came first.

Gen had his heart in his mouth.

He couldn't hold your hand while you were being petrified.

But he could talk to you sweetly.

Well, you couldn't be depetrified yet. It had to take a few days to make sure you were fully healed.

While you were a stone Gen would talk to you daily, very briefly.

He also requested Yuzuriha to make your clothes and already have you dressed.

As soon as you were Revived, he hugged you tightly

Saying over and over again how worried he was and how glad he was to have you back.

After this sweet reunion, it was time to fill in the team with the details of how you ended up busted.

Gen would be very anxious if you had to go somewhere dangerous again.

he would try to convince you to stay, but he wouldn't push it too much, he knows everyone has their own roles on the kingdom of science.

Senku

Senku looked calm. He just looked like it.

When he realized you bought time for him and got hurt in the process, his heart sank.

But he had to deal with the issue at hand.

When he was done with the biggest issue, he went to your aid.

You were bleeding like crazy.

He didn't show it, but he was freaking out.

He knew one option would be to petrify you or try to suture you.

Petrifying was the best option - it had less risk of infections and complications.

So a statue you became.

Before you did become a statue, Senku you reassured you would be fine. After all you did this with Ryusui and Tsukasa so, you would be ok too.

You just needed a couple of days to be sure you would be 100% ok.

He didn't need to request Yuzuriha to make new clothes for you, she already knew what to do.

When you came back, Senku had a glint of relieve and happiness in his eyes.

If you chose to hug him, he would hug you too. If not, then he would just pat your head and say " Welcome back, you idiot".

Senku wouldn't mind if you went back doing dangerous things, but he would double check to see if you are ok.

Ryusui

Ryusui didn't quite notice the exact moment you got hurt - he himself was busy trying not to die too.

As soon as a little bit of safety was regained, he searched for you. Scanned the whole area with his eyes.

When he saw you, badly hurt and bleeding a lot, he panicked.

He dashes towards you, gently placing a hand on your shoulder, but he did not let transpire how worried he was.

He held a serious, yet calm expression and asked Francois to find help for you.

He stayed by your side through the whole decision making of petrifying you.

He agreed it was the option.

Ryusui reassured you would be fine, after all, he was too! Just trust the process and Senku.

He promised to give/do whatever you wanted once you healed up.

As soon as you became a statue again, Ryusui let his bravado down. He was worried sick.

He asked Yuzuriha to make you fancy clothes.

He also came by to see you for the short days you had to stay like that to heal.

Once you were broken free, the first thing you heard was his laugh and his fingers snapping.

He hugged tightly, but gently.

From then onwards he made to keep an eye on you or ask Francois to do so.

Chrome

Another poor boy that would panic a lot.

When he found you hurt, on the floor, he began to cry.

You were trying to tell him you would be ok.

He asked Kohaku to grabs Senku or anyone to help you.

He didn't left your side for anything.

Upon Senku's arrival, it was decided you would be petrified again.

Chrome was mumbling if this was the only way and well, it's not but it is the safest route.

He wanted to hold your hand while you were in the medusa range, but he couldn't.

So he kept loudly saying you would be ok while crying.

Ruri and Yuzuriha fetched you some clothes to dress your statue.

Chrome would talk to you about the days event. And always promise to fill you in again once you started moving.

When you are revived, He hugged you so tightly and so abruptly you fell backwards.

He was crying again, but this time out of relief.

You couldn't help smile at this fool.

After his he became very wary of letting you go on your own to unknown places.

Ukyo

Ukyo saw the moment you were hit.

He immediately ran to you while calling your name.

He didn't waste a second to seek for help.

From the looks of your injury you would probably need to be petrified.

Ukyo stayed by your side the whole time, having a worried, yet calm expression.

He tried his best to reassure you you would be fine.

After you became a statue again, he kindly asked Yuzuriha to make some clothes for you.

He would come by to see you and talk to you a bit.

Counting down out loud how long it would take to have you back.

Once you were revived, he hugged you tightly and gave a big sigh of relief.

He would ask you to be more careful next time and he would make sure to have you in his sight, so he could shoot any danger that could harm you.

Tsukasa

He didn't quite see when you got hurt.

Much like Ryusui, he was also trying to stay alive and Tsukasa is usually in the front lines.

After the danger was gone the first thing he did was look for you.

When he found you hurt, He kneeled next to you, gently helping you up and seeing your wound.

He would pick you up ( if your wound allowed it) and carry you to Senku.

Tsukasa would hold your hand as your injury was being check, surprisingly he wasn't holding too strongly, it was very gentle.

When it was decided it would be best to petrify you, he reassured you would be ok. After he was revived like that too.

He promised he would be next to you when you woke up and he smiled.

Not once Tsukasa showed how worried and angry he was. No, not at you, at himself and whoever laid hands on you.

Once you became a statue, he asked Yuzuriha a favor to make you new clothes.

Tsukasa would come by your statue and smile. He didn't speak much to you, he just did a promise to find who hurt.

Once you are back, he holds you by your shoulders asking how you feel, before hugging you.

After this, he makes sure you are safe or with a team that can keep you safe.

I'll just analyze stuff people used to "prove" the opposite of this, as someone with a close (PLATONIC!!!) relationship with a sibling

This scene is NOT incestuous. They hadn't seen each other for DECADES, it makes sense that Tsukasa reached out to touch Amane - usually if you can't believe you're seeing someone you reach for their face, no? And he just moved his head up (+ the つ (translated as "rub" could just be his hand moving and could be a translation error. Like the "ah…" from Amane, he says "つー" (Tsu) which would've probably been him calling out for Tsukasa)

Also Amane was blushing because he WAS ABOUT TO FUCKING CRY??? IT'S NORMAL TO GET RED WHEN YOU CRY??? That's basic knowledge I fear

He'd seen his brother after AGES, AFTER HE KILLED HIM. I WOULD'VE HAVE CRIED TOO IF I WERE HIM Y'ALL HE'S CRUSHED BY GUILT, GRIEF AND IS HAPPY TO SEE HIS BROTHER AGAIN

I believe it doesn't have incestuous undertones for three reasons:

1. He had a dreamy and hopeful face in both cases. Usually, when characters dream of doing anything, even eating a cake or something like that, the artist adds blush to make the desire stronger. Tsukasa's desires were just having fun with his brother at a festival, something COMPLETELY PLATONIC, and knowing that his brother genuinely cares about him (another COMPLETELY PLATONIC thing driven by a sense of insecurity that he got because of how grumpy Amane was while sick. He wanted to hear his brother say "I love you" (PLATONICALLY) for the last time. It's less ambiguous in the Italian version because it's "Amane, tu mi vuoi bene?" which can only be seen as platonic (voler bene is platonic, amare romantic))

2. He looks cuter blushing. He's a child, children are supposed to be cute. He looks depressed without the blush in the first image 💀💀

To the four year old Tsukasa, you either love or hate someone. No in between. He isn't talking about romantic love, he's talking about caring about someone, usually deeply. Nene reacted that way because she's 15, to her "love" is the romantic kind of love and she's in love with Hanako, same with Kou - they're teenagers who learnt that romantic and platonic love are different. Tsukasa doesn't know. He loves Amane in a platonic, brotherly way and thinks Nene loves his brother in the same exact way, like every other 4 year old would've assumed

So we know most of the og cast starts off under 20 ish say senku mom/parent who stayed in Japan broke out and sorta became everyone's mom's even the one who are already adults. They gave off the sorta parental vibe that just reminds them of their own family still suck in stone. Senku there trying to keep everyone else from trying to claim his last serving parent as theirs as well!

I wanted to say she’d be Byakuya’s girlfriend or wife, but that made me think about how sad the implications of Ishigami village would be to her, so for my own sanity I’m saying a best friend or FWB. Either way, she’d have been in Senku’s life a long time. She would look after him when Byakuya would be at work or traveling. When he’d fly out to different places to see Byakuya, she’d get on the plane with him.

I don’t think Senku would revive her though. I think Tsukasa would. He wouldn’t know her relation to Senku, but would have her revived for her usefulness, whatever that may be. Again, for my own sanity I’m gonna say she never mentions her relation to Senku. The reasoning being that Taiju and Yuzuriha tell her in private what’s going on.

SPEAKING OF THOSE TWO. Taiju adores her. She’d look after him as well when he was a kid. He’d come over to Senku’s house without money sometimes and she would not hesitate to buy him food and even toys when she’d buy them for Senku. And when Yuzuriha joined the group later she would look after her just the same!

Senku nearly cries when he hears her voice over the phone. Taiju and Yuzuriha tell him they’ve already converted someone without Gen’s help and Senku is skeptical. Then he hears her over the phone and freezes.

NOW. After all that happens and everyone is together and recovering from the stone wars. SM(Senku’s mom) is doting on everyone. She comforts Senku after he has to put Tsukasa to sleep, she takes care of Mirai in Tsukasa’s stead. And most importantly she’s happy to tell the Ishigami villagers what Byakuya was like, whereas Senku was more reluctant to do so.

Everyone comes to SM with their issues and love her doting and well, Senku is a bit peeved and feels kinda selfish. He’ll admit he was kinda spoiled and was used to having all SM’s attention. He’d feel kinda neglected and be torn between, “It’s fine I’m an adult now” and “It’s kinda unfair they all get more attention” in his mind.

He’d keep his issues to himself though, just happy SM is doing okay after everything. SM notices though. She’d come to him after a particularly draining day and just opens her arms for a hug. And of course Senku can’t deny her.

“Even after all these thousands of years, you’re still a teenager, Senku. And even after all these thousands of years, I’m still here to look out for you when Byakuya can’t be. And I think he’d be proud of us both.”

"third time's the charm☆!" you take a bite of Rui's fries as well

"Sorry to interrupt your conversation, but it's getting late, we should start heading out." Nene says, taking a napkin and clearing your cheek free of ketchup.

"Okie dokie!" you get up and clear the table.

After a couple of minutes, you all headed out to the fast food joint, drinks in hand.

"Okay, so you'll accept another plushie parachute but not another confetti cannon? We already have 5 of them!" you argued

"The difference is that confetti cannons are more expensive!" Tsukasa dramatically struck his hand on his chest, making you giggle

"I can afford it!" you were right and everyone knew it. Your monthly allowance was more than some people's yearly salary.

"G-guys quiet down! It's dangerous out here-!" nene tried to quiet you both down.

"Nene's right, we are heading towards an alleyway, it's dark out, and you never know." Rui added

"oh cmon, we are fine!" Tsukasa said, turning to look at Nene, only to hear you yell out

They turned to look at you

You weren't there. You had disappeared into the dark alleyway, and the cup you were holding now spilled onto the ground.

Your friends all looked at each other for a second before running behind you.

They saw you and tried to grab onto you, only for the goons to drag you away swiftly.

Rui ran after you, much to Nene and Tsukasa's dismay.

They ran.

They ran and ran to the manor.

They hated to admit it, but they needed to tell your family.

They'd all been at the manor a couple of times, for projects, performances, just regular hangouts, etc.

And from what you told them about your family, they disliked them.

They rang the doorbell.

Alfred opened the door, preparing for the worst, only to see Nene was out of breath and lying on the floor.

"Madam Nene and Master Tsukasa? What are you both doing here?"

"It's Y/N! She got kidnapped by someone!" Tsukasa said, trying to get Nene up from the ground.

"And Rui ran after them!" Nene added, wiping her dress free of dirt.

Alfred sat them both down and called your family and told them what happened.

After a minute or two, the vigilantes came.

"Why are the heroes here?" Tsukasa asked, looking at them

"Vigilantes." Nene corrected "Plus, they probably didn't have time for Y/N, they never do."

Tsukasa and Nene started bickering, being shut up by Batman clearing his throat

"Do you know where she is now?" Red Robin asked

"Yeah, we have her and Rui's life 360, it says she's in a warehouse." Nene showed her phone to him

"Probably holding her for ransom," Tsukasa added

"You're probably right, she's like, the princess of Gotham." Nene agreed

"you guys stay here and we'll go fetch her," Robin said, grabbing his katana.

"No." Tsukasa crossed his arms.

"No?" Nightwing lifted an eyebrow, looking towards Tsukasa.

"No. We know where she is, and we want to help her. We are coming." Nene argued

After much arguing from both parties, Nene and Tsukasa were allowed to come.

They all got into the batmobile and made their way over to the warehouse.

When they finally got near the warehouse, they had to park far away to not get caught by the cameras.

Nene started slowing down immensely due to a lack of energy and had to be given a piggyback ride by Red Robin.

They all ran in, nene still being carried by Red Robin on his back.

Rui was hiding behind a giant wooden box, calling everyone over to a blindspot cameras couldn't catch.

You were up, hanging by the leg, upside down, hands crossed like a bat.

"Y/N?!" your friends exclaimed in confusion

"Hey guys!" you giggled and waved

"Y/N, we're gonna help you get down," Batman said, already scanning the room for any attackers.

"Y/N!" Rui yelled, grabbing everyone's attention

"Shut it, you going to get us caught!" Red Robin covered Ruis mouth, dropping Nene in the process.

Before Red Robin could apologize to her, Rui continued; "Try to untie the rope! Or use something around you to do it!"

"She's going to fall." Red Hood stated already preparing for the worst

"She won't." Nene states knowingly

Robin points his katana toward her chin "Are you stupid? Of course, she'll fall, she's 35 feet in the air!"

Tsukasa ignored their threats "Do it, now!"

You immediately started undoing the knot, you had no idea what the plan was, but you were gonna freeball it.

You watched as everyone started arguing, causing a commotion.

Some goons started making their way toward them, you needed to do something, fast.

You yelled "Fire! Fire! Some bad guys are coming your way!" you still fumbled around with the knot, it was hurting to be upside down.

Before you knew it, everyone was fighting.

Nene was fighting a goon using her pepper spray, while Robin fighting twogoons who were ready to attack her.

Rui was making his way toward you, ready to catch you in case anything went wrong.

And Red Hood wasn't far behind him, preparing himself as well.

After a few seconds, you managed to untie yourself and were holding on to the rope.

"Don't look down!" Rui yelled

Hearing that, you looked down out of habit.

35 feet above.

You were scared.

You were slipping.

You had to get it over with.

Red Hood held his breath and watched as you jumped, thinking you were gonna plummet down to your death

This was normal to you, you didn't believe in physics.

You aimed for Rui to catch you, and you missed and landed in Red Hood's arms.

You looked at him with a gleam in your eyes

Red hood! Your favorite vigilante!

Before you could start saying hi to him, you saw in the corner of your eye Nene was struggling.

Sure, she had Robin with her, but she was a little weaker compared to the 3 goons attacking them.

You wriggled out of Red Hood's hold and made your way to the goons.

You could hear him yelling at you to not harm yourself, but you needed to help Nene!

You pulled out a comically sized hammer from out of your performer costume, which was around 3x your height, and started hitting the goons.

Red Robin looked at you in confusion, "Where did you get that from?"

"don't worry about it!" you swung around your hammer like a baton

You heard a gunshot.

You turned to look for where it

Came from and saw the bullet had almost hit Nene.

She was frozen in fear.

You saw the goon about to shoot her again, and you tackled her to push her out of the way.

The bullet ended up hitting the side of your stomach, making Nene's eyes widen.

Tsukasa and Rui made their way toward you and kept you from passing out

You passed out as soon as Nightwing got to you.

Your friends were all ushered out by Nightwing, who was escorting them to the batmobile.

He placed you on a seat, Rui was next to you putting pressure on the wound.

You were passed out from the pain.

As soon as you all got to the manor, Nightwing tried to get them all to go home.

Fortunately, Nightwing gave up on trying to get them all to go home.

Tsukasa was well trained in wounds due to spending some time learning about medical things when he was younger due to being in the hospital a lot when he was growing up, so he helped Nightwing patch you up.

It took you around half an hour to wake up.

You were in a guest room, surrounded by the vigilantes yet again.

Your head was lying on Nene's lap, who was stroking your hair.

There was a tense silence as if everyone was scared to talk.

Nene was the first to speak; "You shouldnt've done that."

"Huh?" You questioned

"You shouldn't have taken that bullet for me, you know." Nene continued stroking your hair, looking a bit sadder

"if I didn't, you would've been hurt. I'd rather me get hurt." You fidgeted with the bracelet on her other arm.

After a while, your friends went home as soon as the vigilantes confirmed everything was okay.

After a moment you realized,

"Where's my family?" You asked, looking toward Batman

"They're, uh, busy. In a meeting." He quickly replied

"Oh, that makes sense. Well, when they get home could you tell them I'm tired? I need to go to bed." You got up and left to go to your room.

As soon as you were out of earshot, the vigilantes conversed with themselves

"..does she not know we're..?" Red Robin asked Batman

"Apparently she doesn't. I thought she did."

The next morning, you were awoken by Dick bringing you breakfast in bed.

"We heard about what happened to you from Nightwing, we are so sorry we couldn't be around to help! We were stuck in a, uh, meeting!" He placed the plate on the bed tray placed on your bed

You were still half asleep when he explained

"Please meet us downstairs when you are done." He walked out, closing the door softly on his way out.

This was unusual. It was a welcome change.

Once you were done, you grabbed your duffle bag covered in charms and pins and made your way downstairs.

You saw everyone sitting down in a circle formation as if it was an intervention.

You sat down, putting the bag next to you.

"What's in the bag?" Tim asked, slightly intimidating.

"My performer outfit! I'm so excited for rehearsal-☆" You were about to talk about your day, but you saw everyone's guilty look.

"About that," Jason put a hand on the back of his neck "you can't perform for a while."

"WHAT?!"

"it's only for a month and a half. Until your wound heals. Doing your flips and shit could reopen it and make it worse. You need to heal." Jason said, trying to comfort you

"but-but-but!" you teared up slightly, you strongly disliked this.

"it'll be a month. No more, no less. You'll be able to perform again." Your father said

"Okay.." you were excited to get that month and a half over with as soon as possible.

Senku couldn't sleep, for countless nights, he would lay in bed, staring at the ceiling silently, thinking.

Ever since Gen had arrived back during the Grand Bout, he revealed something to him.

Tsukasa had taken [Name] as a hostage, purposely reviving her when he had no choice but to bury her statue when they fled the small camp he and Taiju made at the beginning and keeping her close.

"Poor [Name] is scared to death." Gen's words echo in his mind. "Save her Senku~"

He sighs, closing his eyes. "Wait for me, okay?" Mumbling quietly, he says.

After the war with Tsukasa was over, the first thing Senku did was go over to the Tsukasa empire. On his search to look for the [H/C] haired girl, he walked among the place before stopping.

He looked up to see a figure poking their head out from the prison-like cave, like how Chrome said they held him in.

"....senku?" The voice called out quietly.

A shiver ran down his spine.

[Name] teared up upon seeing him running up the mountain to where she was being held.

Watching as he pants heavily, he quickly helps trying to get the prison open, sitting on a rock, sat [Name], nothing had changed. Seeing her like this reminds him of their life in the modern world.

"You're okay." Her calm expression is the same; the way she sits with her legs together, ladylike, and the gentle smile on her lips are all the same. "I'm happy."

[Name] is caught off guard as Senku walks over and stands in front of her, then suddenly, the two fall back from the rock, trapping the girl underneath him, his arms are wrapped tightly around her waist, face buried in her neck.

She's stunned before even saying a word; she feels his shoulders tremble slightly and then understands.

Without a word, she slowly hugs him back, smiling against his hair. "... I missed you too." She mumbles for his ears alone.

It's been a couple of weeks since [Name] returned to his side; Gen had noticed the way Senku would be around her. Asking for her opinions on his latest work, when they made bread, he made sure she was the last one to get it, giving her the larger portion left.

Upon seeing how happy she was eating it, he gave her his piece, claiming he wasn't that hungry and claimed they would make more now that they had a chief.

Gen had managed to catch [Name] alone, Senku, surprisingly not by her side. "Say, [Name], I've been meaning to ask. What is Senku to you?" He sat down beside her as she sewed up Senku's winter coat since winter was coming up.

She looks up at him before going back to work. "We grew up together." Gen hums at this. "My best friend." Her answer was....too vague for him, so he decided to push.

"Oh? Is that all? I thought you two were more than that." He thinks out loud, peeking over to see her reaction.

"Gen." The girl says, "I know what you're trying to do." She smiles. "If you're looking for a specific answer, all you had to do was ask. I have loved Senku for many years."

His mouth drops, and he expected her to deny or simply not answer.

"So straightforward." She just smiles at him before going back to work.

It took days for Gen to plan his next move; he saw the way Senku looked at [Name], so maybe he could ask Senku if he would think of the [H/C] haired girl.

Yeah, he'll ask and try to play matchmaking-

"Oh, [Name]? Yeah, I'm aware of her feelings for me." Senku says bluntly, picking his ear.

Gen is shell-shocked, staring at Senku like he has grown another head.

"What?" The green-white-haired boy says, clueless.

"You haven't done anything?" Senku blinks at Gen's words. "Done what?" The scientist says.

"Oh, I don't know—accepting her feelings, obviously!?! Gen shouts clearly annoyed at how blunt Senku was towards the girl's feelings in the first place.

"[Name] knows how I feel," Senku says like it's normal, very blunty.

Gen groans. "Senku, I don't think any girl would know what the boy she's in love with feels about her when you give her science rants."

"Can't you give her flowers or maybe something normal?"

Senku scoffs at this. "Back in the modern world, I would give her a lot of things." He says it like it's nothing, almost proud.

"Name one." Gen challenges him.

"I named a spaceship after her."

"Next."

"I took her to Africa to study Ebola with me."

"No, something more romantic." Gen looked like he wanted to just give up. None of this seemed like normal things to give to a girl.

Senku thinks a bit. "...I made a lipstick for her." He remembers that the brand she was using was running out, but they had discontinued it. She was sad about it and often went to the mall with her as she searched for an alternative.

So when she didn't like any of them nor did it suit her. He managed to sneak a sample of the remaining bit and spent a week trying to perfect it.

Seeing her so happy was worth it in the end.

"Anything else?" Gen asked him. "Surely that can't be the only 'normal' gift to her." The man sighs.

Senku stands with his arms crossed, the work he was working on, forgotten. His face deadpans as soon as he realizes what Gen means. Maybe he hadn't given enough to [Name], or maybe she thinks the feelings are one-sided.

"See what I mean." Gen sighs at Senku's dejected face.

"Don't worry, the great mentalist will help you," Gen says grinning.

Senku glanced over at [Name], who was sitting. He made up an excuse to bring her here alone, and he wasn't sure where to go from there.

In his hand, a hairclip, one he'd made the day before. Gen had suggested it to him upon seeing how [Name] often moved the strands of hair from her face.

Gen watches from afar. He can't hear anything, but he sees Senku sitting down beside the [H/C] haired girl. His lips opened as he spoke to her before showing the hairclip.

[Name] smiles as she reaches for the item before Senku leans in and puts it in her hair, catching her off guard as her face heats up slightly, but she smiles at Senku.

More words are spoken, but Gen sees this as a sign to give them privacy.

[Name] goes to lean in the water to see her reflection, but Senku stops her; he brings out a small item and hands it to her. Flipping it around, the girl sees that it is a mirror; smiling, she checks where he puts the hairclip and smiles even more , thanking him.

She looks surprised at his words, seeing him bashful as he confesses, giggling at this. She rests her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes, "That's not true; I like when you go on about what you're passionate about; I love seeing that sparkle in your eyes." She confesses. "So don't think your actions are any less."

Senku wraps his arm around her as they sit there. No more words are needed between them since they both know the depths of their feelings.

The next day, Gen goes over to see how things went, going over to Senku, only to stop when he sees the two closer than ever.

Matchmaker Gen's job is over.

You have to teach him that there are other things to enjoy other than just a pile of presents

The first time he watched a Christmas movie with you and your is DEFINITELY a core memory for him

Your matching pajamas, the way you snuggle into him and sharing the hot chocolate you prepared, the echo of your laugh filling his ears, and at the very end how you kiss him and thank him for spending Christmas with you

He’s so in love, he just wants moments with you like this all the time.

You just held each other and told each other how much you loved one another, excited about the future with each other 

Stanley:

Stanley was on a mission during Christmas

So, Xeno invited you and your family to a Christmas party he and his colleagues were hosting

You really didn’t want to go, especially since you wouldn’t know anyone and Stanley wasn’t with you

But Xeno was still your friend so you decided to show up for him

You and your relatives stand there awkwardly in one of the door frames as Xeno and his colleagues talk about whatever project they were working on

You dad and mom go find some of the snacks and your siblings (if you have any) go causing trouble somewhere

There you were by yourself in the corner

“You look lonely over here under the mistletoe Miss. May i accompany you?”

You knew that voice 

You look up to see your boyfriend 

“Stanley!”

You practically jump on him, wrapping your small arms around his much bigger body

He pets your hair, then lifts your  chin

“We’re still under the mistletoe.” 

You smile at his cheesy gesture something he doesn’t normally do 

You both lean closer together and kiss, desperately clinging to each other like you’re both afraid to let go

“Oh! Is this your boyfriend (y/n)?” 

Your lips immediately leave Stanley’s as you see your whole family just staring at you and Stanley under the mistletoe 

You face turns red instantly causing Stanley to laugh

He sticks his hand out for your family

“My name is Stanley Snyder. It’s an honor to finally meet you all.”

Tsukasa 

You had a gingerbread house competition 

Your mother was the judge

You and Mirai were a team 

Tsukasa and your dad were the other

Tsukasa was struggling making the designs in the roof

Your dad couldn’t get the gum drops to stick

But you and Mirai had a great time with the gumdrops and candy canes, sprinkling them everywhere!

After your major victory Mirai wanted to play with her dolls 

So you and Tsukasa sat on the couch, snuggling up next to each other while your mom kept Mirai entertained 

“Do you want kids?” 

Your head pops up with the sudden question

He locks his eyes with yours, patiently waiting for your response 

A soft smile grows on your face 

“Of course I do!” 

This leaves Tsukasa heart-struck

He kisses your forehead, his favorite way of showing his love for you

You can hear Mirai’s ewws, making both of you laugh

“No sex before marriage!” Your dad yells from the kitchen 

“Dad!”
