what are your fave Captain Duckling headcanons? also what do you think should have been canon on OUAT? i hope you have a great day :)

Okay Nonny, I LOVE the two questions despite the latter opens a can of worms as big as a house. But if you want tea, I’ll put the kettle on.

First of all, my Captain Duckling headcanons? I don’t know. Let me rephrase: I love to see new things with them. I have a veeeery weak spot for Killian kidnapping Emma and them finding themselves along the way, not at all Stockholm Syndrome as much learning about one another - which is what I’m trying to make with Made of Stars.

I really have no idea for Captain Duckling headcanons D: Hmm, okay, let’s separate things.

First meeting: either at a ball as Killian gathers intel or is in the castle (Emma’s or another royal’s) to steal something and steals her heart instead lmao or she’s kidnapped by him, or he saves her but then kidnaps her. Them meeting in a tavern, eh, not so much of my liking - I’d still read the holy hell out of it tho, of course.

Along the way: well, stargazing for one, perhaps learning how to swim (do princesses need to know how to swim?), training in swordfighitng, learning how to navigate by using the stars, hmmmm and sometimes I think Killian would just sit and watch her practice her magic or would help her brew potions. Not to mention the sex marathons lol

Wedding: in secret. Like, Emma goes back and she’s like “hey mom, hey pops, sorry if I took the long way home, but i got married”. I just… I love big weddings as an idea, but the show kinda ruined that for me because they just needed to marry on the Jolly and defo not in the dress they chose for Emma.

Kids - either planned or in an epilogue, well, if you know me, you know all the names I’d use xD 

I don’t know, I just pour some headcanons I have in my stories and what comes out , comes out. I love twisting things up many times, so I love surprises… the one I like, tho xD

And now…

CANON HEADCANONS!!

Here we go! Okay, I have a canon divergence in the works so I’ll just put many points I would’ve rather seen instead of seeing what happened:

1. Season 1, uhm, not much changed, to be honest.

2. Season 2: Regina would die at the end of s2.

3. Season 2: Neal IS NOT Henry’s father, but due to some mysterious spell (aka time travel and memory loss), the father is Killian!

Now, if we have to keep Regina out of the way (oh, such a loss lmao):

4. Season 3: is she useful in 3A unless you count ripping a lost boy’s heart out? nahhh → at the end, I would’ve loved how Pan’s curse would’ve worked bringing everyone back but not Emma and Henry and, of course, Killian. I know there were some implications at the time about them losing memories of Storybrooke anyway, and sending them off with fake memories is not something that’s in Emma’s powers yet so I think they would just probably deal with memory loss of their time in Storybrooke? That would be quite interesting to see, but if I had to headcanon it, I wouldn’t give them fake memories but have them outrun the curse (now that Svenja wrote that, damn, I need it to be canon!)

5. Season 3: Zelena strikes and brings everyone in Storybrooke again, she’s not the mayor (she knows better than that) and her plan would be useless now that there’s no Regina to speak of, but there was a Regina once, and Z still lived a shitty life, so she still needs the portal.

6. Season 3: Zelena stays dead.

7. Season 4: everything happens as it did minus the OQ drama and Robin Hood miiiiight get a little involved with Belle - nope, not fan of Will being ripped away from Ana for drama sake.

8. Season 5: Emma really turns Dark, and Killian is the hero who, even if Dark One himself, makes her see through the Darkness but ultimately he dies becaue he’s a drama queen and I suffered and y’all need to suffer with me.

9: Season 5: LIAM JONES COME BACK AND HE MARRIES QUEEN ELSA END OF.

10: Season 5: GRAHAM HUMBERT GETS JUSTICE.

11: Season 6: THEY MARRY ON THE JOLLY WITH EMMA WEARING A DECENT DRESS

12: Season 7: CAPTAIN SWAN’S DAUGHTER’S NAME IS ALICE JONES AND THAT’S THE TEA

Aehm, yes, that’s basically canon to me lol
