As a child, Theo had a natural flair for creativity. While his friends were playing sports or climbing trees, he was often found sketching, writing and taking photos with his dad’s old camera. These interests grew into a deep love for storytelling, which is a big part of his career.

Theo attended the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts to study creative writing and media, balancing his studies with freelance illustration work and he enjoyed helping others participating in LGBTQ+ support groups. He graduated with honours, returning to Heartford with a clear vision of what he wanted his future to be.

Now at 29, Theo is the creator of The Heartford Chronicle Online, a popular online blog, writing about the history, hidden gems, personal stories, and culture of Heartford. Balancing university and fatherhood wasn’t easy, but when his younger sister moved to New York to help him, Parker was grateful for her support. He juggled classes, freelance work, and parenting and managed to graduate from university.

After graduating, despite his father's disapproval, Parker opened his own photography studio Ellis and Lillies in New York City, gaining a reputation for his portraits, urban shots and events photography. However, as Lily grew older, Parker felt the pull of home, he wanted the young girl to grow up in the same place he did. When Lily's mother took a permanent position in Paris, Parker decided to return to Heartford to provide Lily with a stable upbringing.
