After a long day on the farm and checking off all the chores and duties, Aoife and him agreed to spend some time outside. The weather been pleasant the last few days as it straddles the line of departing spring and incoming summer. A few times already Naruto's heard the comforting buzzing of cicadas.

She brought food from the local saloon and he set up outside. A plush blanket over the grass, drinks, and some light. Dinner was nice, enjoying the comforting food from the Stardrop Saloon. Naruto kept easy conversation, asking questions and telling his own stories.

Once dinner was done they moved to lounging, holding low murmured conversations about the day, the people, and their interests. Naruto is retelling a funny encounter with one of the townspeople when he feels a familiar weight on his thighs. Looking down, his eyes light up in warm regard. Without missing a beat he brings his hand to run his fingers through the ends of Aoife's soft hair. He plays with her hair as he continues talking, twirling the ends around his fingers. Of course he's careful to not tug or pull.

The moon is slowly taking her place for the night when Naruto figures it's time to disturb her. His hand moves from her hair to squeezing her shoulder.

"Am I gunna have to carry ya inside again," he teases once the sun has settled for bed. A task he doesn't mind whatsoever. He likes being trusted by her to do so.

"Unless you're up for sleeping under the stars." The night shouldn't get too cold he figures.
