I have this picture saved on my phone. I saved it in early spring last year, when I started to feel a little lost. I found some peace in the words within the head in the picture... . but then things started getting more confusing, and I thought I was completely losing my mind and going crazy... . and then things got bad, spiraling madly out of control... . and then I started to piece things together and realized what was happening in my marriage. I started to believe all those outside words again. I've spent so very many months feeling useless and stupid, unlovable and dirty, a failure and unwanted. I still feel that way much of the time now. . I searched my phone for this tonight when I remembered it. PDA- Public Display of Affection

Because of His Love: How We Show Our Love

I Peter 1:15-16 NKJV

but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”

Holy living is our PDA. Just like lovers, our PDA might not all be the same. After all, its personal even when public. When we openly express our love for God, most importantly by the way we treat people more so than in mere outward clothing; it is beautiful. It not only draws people by curiosity but also by their desperate need to be loved and wanted. It is the complete and perfect system. That, if used correctly, we not only draw men unto Him we are able to keep that which has been given.

Think about it. People spend their lives looking for love and satisfaction. Jesus, through us, I’ll say it again THROUGH US is able to give them both of those things. How do people know we are His disciples? That ye love one another. That means showing love to other saints! Why then do we treat each other so spitefully and with disregard? Why are there cliques in the church?? Why do denominations compete and argue with each other when we should be trusting God to bring us all into truth?

Our God is love so why aren’t we?
