i love Henry and Natalie, and not just because they’re a parallel to Dan and Diana, no. I mean, the moment we (the audience) see Henry on stage and that awkward, nervous yet ‘confident’ personality shows with Natalie (a complete opposite) it’s just perfection.

I read Henry is like Dan, if Dan understood mental health and mental illnesses more and that’s just what i think about every time now. In ‘Perfect For You’, Henry says “I could be perfect for you” but then in Hey #3 / Perfect For You - Reprise, he says “I will be perfect for you.” I absolutely love that.

Eleanor and Jack O do such an amazing job at portraying Henry and Natalie.

My local theater is putting on Next to Normal next year, and I am old enough to audition.

I will obviously be auditioning for Henry and Gabe (but Henry is more in my range, but I feel like I could act Gabe better) but those arnt the roles I want.
