Very few albums are in indelible part of my story or DNA, but @xtina’s #stripped definitely is. Part R&B, part Pop, all soul. It was released 20 years ago today, and this incredible body of work not only solidified Christina Aguilera as the voice of a generation but also as a fearless warrior for women. She danced #dirrty in chaps and took so much heat and hate for owning and expressing her sexuality so acts like Meghan Ther Stallion and Halsey could do it without people getting so much flack. Though her later works are tragically underappreciated (😉), Stripped will forever be her definitive work. Congrats on #20yearsofstripped, Christina! ✨🌈❤️‍🔥
