This is pretty much all of the principles I've learned in my 25 years on earth concerning dating women. None are absolutes, but mostly guidelines I've gathered that have helped me a lot. CheersDo not pressure her into anything and respect her boundaries No means noDon't not insist on something if she declinesDo not be clingyDo not play text gamesDo not get mad or upset at rejection. Take it in stride Do not complain, whine, or throw tantrums for not getting your wayDo not act jealous and controlling Do not baby her or act servileDo not make decisions for herDo not be cringeworthy & cheesy romanticDo not come off too strong or move things along too fastDo not be over the top in romantic gestures in the beginning without having already earned each other's loveDo not act judgmental of her or others dear to herTry to be open-minded to her views on things even if they conflict with yours, but don't agree just to impress her if you really disagreeGive sincere complements preferably on non-superficial attributesDo not go straight for the kill when touching herFocus on small considerate & thoughtful romantic gestures No asking for inappropriate pics unless initiated by her No public displays of affection unless initiated by herDo not say self-deprecating/insecure shit about yourselfDo not blow up her phone or get mad that she hasn't respondedDo not be vengeful Do not put her on a pedestal and pretend as if her shit doesn't stink tooDo be present when listening to her and try to remember small but significant details Do not be overly-romantic all the timeDo not go out of your way to impress and do not brag. Impress within your means by allowing her to stumble on impressive things about you on her ownDo not tell her she should not wear make up because she looks better without it. Tell her you like how she looks with or without it.Do not tell her not to do somethingDo not give unnatural prolonged eye contact Do not agree with her just to agree with her and tell her what you think she wants to hear in a blatant attempt to feign similar interestsBe responsible in all areas of your lifeShow equal amount of investment and effort in the relationshipBe supportive of her interests and hobbiesDo not EXPECT anything in return for anything nice you have done or gifts you have given. Certainly don't give off the impression.Allow her to do things on her own or with other people without youDo not accuse her of being over-emotional/irrational merely because of her lady attributes. (Even if it's accurate)Own up to your faults and don't play the victim when it is unjustifiedDo not seek too much validation from herDo not downplay her problems, belittle her, or condescend herBe decisive and lead Treat her as an equal capable of doing things herselfDo not open up personal baggage/problems too early onDo not give her the silent treatment nor reciprocate passive aggressiveness Do not place restrictions on her whatsoever Back up what you say with actions and be patient with herAccept her fully for who she is, or at least give her then impression that you doBe supportive of her when she's down and outTake her craziness in stride Never allow her to feel trapped or suffocated by youGive her the freedom to leave option if you sense she's becoming ambivalent about the future of the relationship•CommunicationDont give silent treatmentDont play therapist diagnosing cause of bad behaviorDont accuse partner of always doing something they only sometimes doDont guilt tripDont bring up past grievancesDont criticize her character in bad faithDont say you're fine when asked what's wrongDon't blame eachother, it's a waste of time• Game notesJust chill & be laid backBe patient Don't be too eager for anything Do not pressure her for closeness or reassurances when she backs awayBe outcome independent and let chips fall where they mayLet go of any expectations and accept the possibility that you may failBe as honest and sincere about yourself as you canTease her and make fun of her, don't be too harsh or insult her, howeverDon't let her know just how much you're into her.Have her guess your cards, but never fully show themDon't verbalize your intent to have sexPull away first, especially when she wants you the mostOccasionally ignore her advances  & send mixed signals If she pulls back in general, don't pursue, & pull back just a little bit moreSize her up to see if she's actually good enough for youDon't kiss her ass because she's beautifulMake no apologies for who you areBe decisive and don't look to her or others to make a decision Don't show offMake your happiness inward-dependent rather than outward-dependent Get to know her first before taking too much of a liking Have your shit togetherDon't talk about a relationship or dating until she brings it upFocus on her comfort & trust level and having as much fun as possible Make yourself come off as a fun interesting person Compliments come after she is emotionally engaged. They must be sincere and preferably on a trait that goes unnoticedDon't bother with girls who have low interest to begin withShow her that you want to know everything about her. Really listen Don't take out your phone while on a dateCall her or see her in person when asking her outBe the person you want to attractFind out as much as you can about her while withholding as much as you can about youDon't say you're not like most guys Show her you can cook and clean up after yourselfDon't put down other people to prop her or yourself up • Interest levelThe more personal questions she asks you, the more her interest levelThe more she stares at you, the more her interest levelThe more easier she makes it for you, the higher her interest levelThe more she makes light touches, the higher her interest via /r/dating_advice
