heyo! i would like a danganronpa kin matchup please! i'm really introverted and i like to stay optimistic. i try to stay away from drama and i hate starting arguments with people. i'm carefree, awkward and sensitive. sometimes i let people's snide remarks get to me, but overall i try to remain positive. i like looking at the best in everyone. i love art and history, and i'm very passionate about those things. i tend to consider myself dumb, even though i'm not. tysm in advance!

totally! this was really fun to do, especially since a couple jumped out at me right away, so thank you anon! this was... surprisingly refreshing? so, without further ado, let’s get started!

for starters, i match you with...!

makoto naegi, who i think appears in all of the games?

originally, the first match was going to be rantaro, but... then i thought more about makoto, and it’s like yes. he is perfect. along with both of you being more awkward, as well as sensitive(especially to others, in the case of him) and fairly carefree, the two of you seem rather introverted to me. makoto is also very positive like you say you are- he certainly tries to stay away from drama and arguments. in fact, i’d argue that that’s what his arc is all about. plus, in general, he tries to see the hopeTM in everyone around him, and therefore tends to give people the benefit of the doubt... a lot of times, actually!

however, the biggest part of ‘snide remarks getting to him’, which happens to both of you every now and then, is that makoto always does his best to bounce back from those. i’d say that you seem like the type to as well! plus, he doesn’t seem to have... the highest self esteem. i mean, he considers himself a completely average and typical person all the way up until... he literally kills a war criminal. i could link that with you both thinking that you’re somewhat lesser than the people around you, especially in terms of smartness... but you both seem to be trying your best! you go, anon! oh i forgot to talk about the history and art part uhhhhhhhhhhh

moving on you might be able to guess it, but i also match you with...

rantaro amami, from danganronpa v3!

this mostly came to me because of, well, a lot of things. he’s a generally carefree and relaxed person, who tries to stay away from drama and starting arguments- he overall just seems to be trying to enjoy himself. art and history, i mean, with an ultimate like his, i’d say that he’s more than passionate. plus, he does seem rather introverted to me, as the other ultimates around him are able to wear him out somewhat, rather than an extrovert who would probably be more adept at keeping up with them.

i also think that the two of you both try to stay fairly positive, and even if it’s a bit exhausting you try to see the good in others. unless, of course, proven that you should do otherwise. but spoilers lol, there are also times that rantaro can let various remarks get to him, though less in the passive way that makoto does. normally, i think that he’d brush them off, but if something really hit him the wrong way i’d imagine him to be... well, intimidating, to put it short.

finally, i match you up with...

taichi fujisaki! (i know he was in udg for like 5 secs but)

okay hear me out. taichi, like his child, is a very loving and caring person- gentle, and trying to see the good in others rather than antagonising them. i think this, as well as his kind demeanor, (and possible respect for photography as an art? i dunno, he was in udg for like 5 secs) can make me consider you as similar to him. he is somewhat awkward, and a bit meek and sensitive, just like you. he definitely seems like more of an introvert, though despite his fears ingame, he tries to stay positive despite the situation and help out the protagonists.

especially once things start getting better, he’s filled with hope- even the last moments you see him in are him expressing love for his family, and the wish to see them despite their separation in the time of another episode. he does seem to not want to argue or be around drama, like you, especially considering (light spoilers) that you find him in an area that’s ultimately away from all of the mono-chaos outside. in fact, it’s rather deserted in terms of anywhere ingame. i wouldn’t be surprised if this is behaviour he exhibited in a more normal environment!

and now, for the ever-so-customary minor kin matchups! the list is short this time, but you also remind me somewhat strongly of shirokuma, and a bit of peko pekoyama and nagito komaeda!
