This Watercolor Blocks Map of Colton, S. Colton and Higley Flow in the northwest corner of the Adirondacks is complete. The client chose blue-green watercolor. Green is certainly the color of the Adirondacks in summer, tree-covered mountains. Because I paint the land and leave the roads and water paper white, the blue perfectly conveys the spirit of the Raquette River and Higley Flow, a major feature of this map landscape.
