Falinks-I think they look like little gladiators

Blastoise-BIG GUN, would ride in on its Gigantamax with his Pokémon

Scoliopede-Sets hazards and traps for the enemies which soldiers tend to do

Rotom-Stand in for Arthur or his Demonica AI

Cyclizar-Quick transportation and utility

Genesect-The secret weapon of the Strike Team which he would unleash

One trend I didn’t notice until thinking about it is that the legendaries I gave for the protagonists (if I gave them one) were the minor ones.

Always found it funny that the Doppelgängers in Strange Journey mimicked the appearance of the main protagonist.

So you can just have an evil-looking version of your main guy on the team.
