Smau masterlist | the royal dupes

Y/n - the third daughter of the Queen and King, known as the academy’s sunshine. Works hard and has a good track record in anything. She holds a bit of a grudge towards her family since she feels like she’s constantly outshined. And also towards hokuto who doesn’t really notice her presence

Anzu - y/n’s childhood best friend and roommate. Anzu is the daughter of a duke and is a little bit wilder than y/n is, her getting y/n is trouble in the past. Thinking of majoring in swordsmanship. She doesn’t really like y/n’s parents and always ready to take y/n’s side.

Yuta - The younger of the two twins from the Aoi family. He dreams of being a famous musician and is the son of a duke. He and his twin brother Hinata are always seen together but they have extremely different classes. Meets y/n and Anzu during the first year and has never left her side since.

Hinata - The older of the two twins from the Aoi family. He’s more skilled in swordsmanship and horseback riding than his academics. He first meets y/n and Hokuto due to them taking horseback riding and swordsmanship together. He dreams of becoming a knight just like Anzu.

Hokuto - the son of a viscount whose name no one has heard of. He’s hardworking and extremely diligent being the only scholarship student at the academy and taking care of his mother. His biggest accomplishment of all though is probably beating the most accomplished at the academy — y/n. He wishes to major in sorcery.

Subaru - Hokuto’s roomie whos also one of Hokuto’s greatest confidants. Also the runaway prince of a faraway country and is tutored by hokuto to make sure he doesn’t fail. He buys food for Hokuto due to his circumstances and to bribe him out of the his long study sessions at the library

Mao - The founder of the magic potions club, he takes his club activities extremely seriously and this is probably why his club has a lack of members. He’s extremely intelligent and passionate about his work. He would like to major in philosophy

Makoto - The son of a famous merchant and enjoys travelling ever since he was a child. He dreams of taking over his family’s business and has an eye for rare treasures. He’s an og magic potions club member even before anyone else joined.

Hokuto doesn’t actually know who y/n is and only found out about them when he beat them

Mao had to reject probably 50+ people who wanted to join the club because they were only in it for the hot people

Mao and Makoto are second years when Hokuto is a first year
