i like to think mary resets even after everyone dies of old age because its her way of passing away lol so shintaro is rather haunted by knowing every. single. thing. that will happen to him and everyone. its like a prolonged groundhog day movie. except its his whole life. thatd be sooooo funny. a way to solve it could be using favoring+concealing to maybe delete those memories??? but idk if kido is able to delete someone else's memories.... wait this has 0 to do with what ur saying. sorry i get super sidetracked UM ya i definitely think losing that aspect is what makes shintaro so uneasy post str. he's so used to knowing how everything goes that now he's got all his shields taken away in like the span of a week plus also given everything he wanted (ayano&co back, his guilty conscience over ayano is cleared out too)(for the most part) and hes like oh my god. i am going to handle this horribly and make it everyone elses problem
