Ik ship wars are starting again in the fandom, I've been thinking about something... Just a little question for everyone to share their thoughts in a civil way! Kind of a fandom checkpoint, since I feel like everyone deserves a safe space at some point. Please remember to be respectful though

What do you see in your favorite ships that makes you like them so much?

I'll go first! (Under the cut)

Well, firstly Joyness! Or as I like to call it now, Joynessment! I really like their character development, their opposites dynamic, and in my POV, they look like they would have so much romantic chemistry if Pixar wanted to! And also, ever since Inside Out 2 came, everyone kept talking about Sadness with Embarrassment, and as much as I trying to remain consistent, they have grown on me too! So I said "you know what? Why not Sadness date both of them?"

Ah, Disear, AKA Fashion Disaster! Honestly these two are a very fun dynamic and I really like imagining random scenarios with them! I haven't watched IO 2 yet, but from what I'm hearing from the fandom, I feel like I'm gonna like them even more when I watch it!

Angathy, my OC x canon ship! Honestly, when I first got into the fandom, I wanted to see ships with Anger where he genuinely felt loved instead of it always having him exploding at some point. So someone who he can feel comfortable with... Why not Empathy, a character that I created? I molded their relationship the best I could to make it enjoyable and healthy on both sides! Who doesn't like a friends to lovers and a slowburn? *Ba dum tss*

And lastly, Anxienn! Well, I started shipping them due to specific people in the fandom. And honestly, I just think they're very neat and their fanart is amazing lol. Noodle gfs, hehe 😌

1. What do you like or dislike about this character?

Ok I'm gonna be honest. He is not the awakening villain I think about the most and he's just kinda. there. to me. He's silly, I'll give him that, but he doesn't stick out as much as Validar, Aversa, Walhart or even Yen'Fey

9. Could you be roommates with this character?

I don't even think I'd feel safe sitting in a waiting room with him.

25. First impression of this character? How about now?

First impression was in 2020 and I thought he looked like Ganondorf's gay cousin. Now, I still think that except that I also know he's a pretty alright villain.

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

Everything she does is for a selfish reason until Filpa gets dangerously sick and she finally admits to herself that she cares about him deeply and would do anything to save him. It's a turning point in her character arc because it allows her to have humility and accept help from Regnar whom she hates.

5. What's the first song that comes to mind when you think of them?

Honestly the entirety of the album queen of the night by dirt poor robins, but if I had to single out a song it'd be enchanté

11. Would you date this character?

No absolutely not. As much as I am a fan of physically strong women with big mischievous grins, (see: Ædith and Helena) Dagny is insufferable. After her character arc, she's hardly even human anymore!!

Ancient drawing from when her story was a lot more shallow and completely different.

ÆDITH. LITERALLY ÆDITH!!!!! Ædith gets a lot of things about the pantheon that other people don't because of her unique experience of growing up in Odeda with beliefs that directly go against the country. Also Rurik and Yagaan but not to the same degree as Ædith.

Um. I don't know!!!

People treat Falin x Marcille as canon which I hate cause it's not canon and the ship just isn't that good. Marcille is a fine character but she's not the right gf for Falin

25. What was your first impression of this character? Hos about now?

Okay so a trope I really love is when a character goes MIA before the story starts. For example, in the Martian, Whatney's crew mates leave before he wakes up so he's all alone. We hear about them almost constantly but it isn't until like 40% in that we meet them for the first time. We have a good idea of them so we're somewhat prepared when we do actually meet them. It's the same with Will in stranger things, he's missing for all of season 1 but we hear about him so we already have opinions and thoughts when we properly meet him in s2.

Falin is like this. She's not there, but she haunts the narrative because everything they do is for her. She's brought up in almost every single episode and the story doesn't end until she's okay because we see it from Laios' perspective. To him, Falin is the most important thing in the world. It doesn't matter that he just saved the world from an apocalypse, he just wants to see his sister.

When we do finally meet her in episode 13 (I think it was 13), we're excited and it's so much fun to finally see her after hearing so much of her!!!

I love girls who haunt the narrative :]

Anyway now that I've read the manga, I love her even more.

What is your special talent/skill as a roleplayer? Playing Multiple muses all at once. x.x The most I’ve done is TEN all at once in one RP; in a CHAT ROOM role play game. 

What is your favorite type of roleplay genre, and why? Angsty drama and sometimes smut. Because I love the feeling of really wanting to find out what happens next--and how it’s all going to play out, and cause smut is just fun. xD

Why did you pick your muse? initially it was because our RP group wwaaaay back in the early 2000s didn’t have a Kagome, but we had everyone else. Including the obligatory OC. lol. So, I just picked her up to fill up our roster while I played Naraku, and she eventually just evolved into my main muse for the next--twenty years. xD;;; I feel old.

If you could write any other muse - but know you don't have the muse for him/her - who would it be? Meiou Setsuna, Sailor Pluto? I have a blog for her--and I have played as her--but I like--never really had the muse for her. lol. And Mayuri from Bleach. I have played him too--but never really had the muse for him. 

What is one thing you think you need to work on as a partner? I think--I need to work on RP ideas honestly...Twenty years and I feel like I’ve drained the tank for ideas...Which is sad! Cause I still want to play more, but my storyline ideas are minimal. And replying to some threads in a good amount of time...xD

When I was younger I kinda liked a really freakin weird crossover ship of Kagome x Amon from Witch Hunter Robin  And.they was a thing in my RP for a little while...But then--my Inuyasha staked his claim-and that ended that. xD

Given that I write a majority of muses over the age of 35-40, age gaps from them and older do not bother me. I know people in real life who are 10-15 years older than their partners. I mean... my gf had a casual fling w someone 20 years her senior once so like... it doesn’t bother me.

that said, minors and adults is wrong, and honestly, even early 20s, you’re still developing your sense of self and life and it would be off putting for someone established past 35 to take an interest in you, let alone have a serious relationship.

alohris (aloth x my watcher) is like…so good and its gonna be canon in spring of 2018. aloth really likes that lihrus is so? i guess solid? steadfast? hes got a very grounded, comforting presence and for someone like aloth whos very prone to anxiety and whos mind can jump rapidly from worst possible scenario to worst possible scenario its really nice to have someone to keep him like in the now. and like maybe a little bit on top of that is that lihrus is really into physical affection in comfort like he gives really good hugs and cuddles but even more like a gentle hand on his back or a shoulder/hand squeeze and its…really good

lihrus is in love with how like. careful and attentive aloth is really thoughtful, really good listener and when he talks you can hear like pauses in between thoughts bcos he chooses his words so carefully and it always brings a huge smile to lihrus’ face. almost all the ppl hes ever dated as well as lihrus himself have been really energetic, fast moving and excitable so its really sweet and refreshing to be with someone who takes it down a notch and can just sort of chill and zen for a bit

and then second is eirabella which is eiger x my srdf runner and theyre like…the gf dream team!! i think theres a really mutual thing for them where they admire the living hell out of each other. like they both think the other is genuinely the strongest most mindblowingly amazing person to walk planet earth. super captivated by each other and they work REALLY well in combat together

i wanna just say that frost had a crush on eiger like. the minute she saw her bcos she 100% has a type and this 6 and a half foot tall burly woman in a leather jacket just. destroyed her. and then immediately after that she was impressed by her professionalism bcos frost actually takes herself pretty seriously? and its so rare to find someone else in the flux state who does.

honestly so much of this could go for both of them but i think the exact moment when eiger was like “fuck, shes cute” was like right after blitz got recruited and the whole team was doing like drinks together and frost’s (who exclusively listens to 80′s synth pop) favorite song came on and she started dancing and it was just so. so cute
