I really liked that episode too! I guess what’s really making the past few episodes stand out is the character developments? So, I’m not really feeling josiexfinch BUT I like how it’s helping Josie’s character grow to try and be more confident with herself? I’m not cool with Lizzie lying to Josie about Finch. I understand it, I guess, but I don’t like it.

Methan. Nuff said. I’m not apologizing for my constant gushing over them lmao.

I wanna know more about Cleo.

Legacies Opinions 3x08: This is the Hour of Our Discontent

Hello, my lovely readers.

Welcome back to Legacies Opinions!

As you might be able to tell from the title of this piece; there was a bit of unhappiness in the last epi. Oh, poor babies!

Let's start with the hard bits, and then, well, mostly there are hard bits, and some worrisome undertones.

Did anyone order Friendships on the Rocks? Well, if you didn't, you might not be huge fan of the last epi. where Hope tried to blow up her friendships with, well, just about everyone...

SPOILERS AHEAD!

Hizzie: Hizzie is one my personal fav friendships. Sassy and sarcastic. Leaves a lot of material for comedy and drama. This time around, drama won the day. While it looked like our girls were going to get along, and play nice--so Hope could get Landon back to their reality--Lizzie decided to go #Team MG. This caused a splinter in the bond between these two ladies, and left room for Hosie.

Hosie: Since Lizzie did not want to play with Hope; Hope decided to blow up Jo's attempt at a: nice, normal, human life. While, we, the fans, might agree with Hope's logic: Jo saved herself from dark magic. Jo can NOT live a "normal" life as a witch. It also does not seem fair to not allow Jo to make her own decisions. There was more than a little Klaus-style manipulation on Hope's part in her interactions with Jo. However, Jo gets that Hope is doing all of this for Love.

HopexCleo: Not sure what their shipper name is... They were on their ways to being close friends, but Hope always knows how to push people away. Wonder where she got that from... And scaring the crap out of Cleo with her psychic powers, again, Hope finds she might need to room with someone else, for now. Although it could be pointed out that Cleo is the one who came up with the solution to bring Landon home. So, we shall see when these two ladies make up.

Kaleb and Cleo: They seem to be growing closer. Singing together. Kaleb picking flowers and making breakfast for Cleo. We're definitely seeing Cleo cause Kaleb to bring his romantic A-game, and this is one of the light bits of the show.

Mizzie: MG and Lizzie... What can I say? I love them, but they're slow-burn is beginning to drive me nuts! Come on, just let have five minutes of happiness. So, you might be wondering what happened? As I said: Lizzie choose MG; when Hope made The Super Squad make a decision between #Team Tribrid and #Team Cheerful Vamp. And it looked like MG and Lizzie might get to say a lot of things they wanted to say. But they did not. After Lizzie siphoned MG, and took the ascendant to Hope, after Hope took Jo; MG announces he's leaving the school. WHAT? NOOOO!

MGxKaleb: Looks like our closest male friendship is in trouble with Kaleb uncertain of who he should loyal to. Kaleb told MG Kaleb would always have MG’s back, S1, but MG evoked a promise from Kaleb that has come back to bite MG in the butt. Still, I believe they’ll find their way back to each other. Possibly, thanks to Cleo.  

Jonch: They were having a moment, when Hope popped in, and I expect this will not be the last time Hope interrupts these two.

Handon: Just when dark magic threatens to kill, or consume, Hope, Jo, and Lizzie; Landon appears for the save! Yay! Big Handon reunion, and cute, dockside moments. But it seems that The Bone Man followed Landon home. Is he a new Mali-monster? Or is he someone else?

Overall, there seemed to be some ominous bits to this epi. And I'm hoping that Landon really is Landon, and not Mali-Landon.

Oops: I almost forgot! Wade! We're getting more Wade! Does anyone else want to know more about this supporting character? And who else loves his budding friendship with Jed?

and that has to do with the underlying trauma issues she has yet to properly work through

plus...what if you're never truly ready? then the lie just keeps going and going and going until it eventually comes out and just hurts so much worse than if you heard the truth from the start

Maaaaaan it was nice to live!blog an episode again! This was...really promising, I think??? We got some Hope and MG friendship bonding which was beautiful. Hope's "Landon-obsession" is finally being painted as a recognized flaw she needs to overcome to do what's right. We got some Kaleb backstory! I hope we see more of his past (especially in a stronger flashback style).

Mali!Landon...hi hello yes you are very attractive help.

Hizzie nation how are we feeling with that last scene? (yes i'm slowly becoming a Hizzie shipper)

Honestly I think season 4 has the potential to be good! This episode did a good job setting up the tone and if the writers just stay consistent then I think s4 can be one of their better seasons!
