I have so many questions about how the Bojack Horseman universe (Bojackverse?  Bojack Horseverse?) works.... For the most part, animals seem to be treated as though they have human ethnicities in addition to their animal species.  See the non-human members of the Latin Kings and the Aryan Nation when Todd was in prison.  Aquatic species may be an outlier here since they have their own removed society - but then we are introduced to specific Mouse culture and festivals with a specific cultural relationship to cats, so how does that intersect?  Where do animals fit into to real world history of racial inequalities, racial chattel slavery, genocide, etc? What about religion.  Is Christianity a specifically human religion?  If not - how does Jesus’ species enter into the view of him?  Perhaps the Bible is ambiguous in their world, and different species portray him as one of their own? On a related note, is the Genesis story the same?  How much history of their world would be shaped by humanity explicitly being given dominion over “all the beasts of the Earth”?  Have Snakes been historically persecuted because of being blamed for the Fall of Man?
