Like most performers, Mabel usually stuck to the makeshift backstage area of the tent that Dipper maintained (which involved telling Will how to organize everything). It only made sense for audiences to not see them beforehand; that’d only serve to ruin the magic of their spectacle.

Except for that night. Feeling tense and worn out - no doubt from her excessive use of the amulet only a few days prior - fresh air seemed to be the best way to de-stress. The shows was about to start after all. She couldn’t do her favorite method of relieving tension; her knives primed to be used solely for performance use at that moment.

Assuming that everyone was seated within the tent, Mabel strolled over to the front with her head tilted slightly back as she looked up at the moon. A calming visual. The moonlight never failed to soothe her. Taking a deep breath, her nose immediately scrunched up at the unexpected cigarette smoke.

Head tilted back down, her eyes zeroed in on the source. An unfamiliar face. Strange. Will showed them each night’s guests beforehand, but this person hadn’t been in the debriefing. Not to mention the odd, off-kilter aura they emitted. Something about them was different, yet she couldn’t figure it out. How frustrating. How...curious. Mabel decided to approach them.

In an attempt to get out of the house, despite the weather, Quinn had decided to play video games in the arcade instead of at home. This was a favorite place of his, with the bowling-alley carpeting and the purply lights, old games that had been around for decades. Ski ball was a favorite, and pacman, all the classics. Anything that was based on skill, not luck. 

Quinn was not a lucky being.

But he had spent several thousand years honing his hand-eye coordination skills, which made him very, very good at Space Invaders, or Street Fighter II, or whatever else he felt like playing. It was soothing, the familiar noise, the rhythm, easy to get lost in.

Are they attracted to your muse?: Alex is attracted to HER’s confidence and knowledge, but when coupled with the rest of the personality, exceedingly less-so. 

Something they find frightening about your muse: Alex doesn’t doubt that HER has some kind of arsenal arranged and at the ready, and the fact that HER is pretty self-confident, sometimes on issues that Alex doesn’t necessarily agree with, makes them pretty fearful that HER will just decide they don’t like something and abolish it

Something they find adorable about your muse: Admittedly, HER and Hasl’s interactions are cute, and the fact that they make one another happy (more importantly, that Hasl likes having HER around) is sweet

Would my muse go on a date with yours? platonic/romantic: I feel like any sort of “date” would be some kind of tense “white flag negotiations” sort of meeting, and since there’s no ACTUAL fighting between the two, probably not
