How would your blorbo react when they first hear that Houji and Tatara are dating?

Do you think some natural ghouls would be able to pass through the RC Gate?

We know through Eto that the rc signature the gate looks for can be passed down genetically. Yoshimura was V, so the Washuu had allowed the gates to let him pass, and we saw that Eto herself was able to pass through the gate.

But the RC Gates aren't just for V and the Washuu. Publically, their "main" use is to be programmed with the rc signatures of all quinques.

But wouldn't that mean that any family member of a deceased ghoul made into a quinque could pass through the gate?

The Arata Armor exists, and Narukami is theorized to be Hikari. Could Touka and Ayato both pass?

Tatara, because of Yan?

Tomoe, because of the Bin Brothers?

Or perhaps it's only rc signatures that are extremely similar. Yoshimura and Eto's kagune look visually the same, and he even purposely mimicked her owl form for years.

Meanwhile, Arata was a koukaku while Touka and Ayato are ukaku. Hikari may have had a similar ukaku flame, but judging from what we know of Yomo's kagune, and the possibility that Narukami and T-Human are the other 2 Yomo siblings, then its possible Hikari's kagune didn't much resemble her kids'.

But Hinami's is a near-identical copy of both of her parents, who are both separate quinques. So she'd probably be an exception, even if the others couldn't pass through.

That's a pretty glaring but very interesting weakness. And because of the Washuu secret, I doubt anyone outside of the Washuu would know its even possible.

in my mind it goes like this:

tatahouji is dependent on yanhouji having happened

yanhouji wasn't very romantic tho

top houji, bottom yan, despite the name

houji kills yan, tatara escapes, etc, we know the drill

tatahouji is even less romantic than yanhouji ever was

houji is still obsessed with yan and redirects it to tatara instead

tatara just wants to kill him

top tatara, bottom houji

houji could have given yan back but he doesn't because he sees yan through tatara

houji initiated the first time

houji was tatara's first

tatara has a brother kink

tatara's body can't get enough of houji

tatara hates that fact

in a better world where yan died of a traffic accident or something, houji would be his sugar daddy

no kagune use during sex because kagune residues etc it would set off the ccg gates or something

+ houji knows that if he suggests it, he's dead dead

+ tatara knows that "officially" he's not a ghoul and if he ever shows kakugan or kagune it's "proof" for houji and then the ccg has to deal with him

if tatara did kill houji, he'd probably die right after but not in a "uta way" if that makes sense. uta is suicidal, tatara is not. uta cannot live without renji, tatara can only live for and through yan

Short little thing I typed up

“What is this?”

Yan turned over the small, see-through bag in his hands, brow furrowed as he looked at the contents.

“It’s a gift,” Houji said. “For Valentine’s Day.”

Yan looked up at him. “Isn’t that a western thing?”

“We have in Japan too.”

“Hm.” He opened the bag and pulled out a piece of chocolate. He glanced back over at Houji, eyes narrowed. “I can’t eat this.”

“It’s traditional.” Houji smiled. Yan muttered something under his breath, then sighed and put the chocolate back.

“Thank you,” he said begrudgingly.

“You have to pay me back next month.”

“Or I could kill you right here and now,” he said. Houji chuckled.

“Oh, could you?”

In response, he brought a hand up to Houji’s head and ruffled his hair. Houji narrowed his eyes.

“You are terrible,” he said, running his fingers through his hair, trying to brush the loose strands back into place.

“I’d have to be” — Yan smiled — “to put up with you.”

Houji paused for a moment. Finally, he pressed a kiss to Yan’s cheek.

“Happy Valentine’s Day,” he said. Yan turned away and closed his eyes.

“Happy Valentine’s Day.”
