Airport extreme (last generation and last update)

ISP 400 down 40 up

wifi turned off

My download is about 200-300mbit, mostly it starts quick (360mbit or something) and immediatly it drops very quick.

when i boot to win10 with bootcamp everything is fine. I get about 390-400 down and stable. On the same macbook, same cable to router, same router and same USB-C to ethernet adapter.

What have i tried?

- Another internet browser (Chrome instead of Safari), but it is also with downloads from newsgroups, steam and other platforms

- clean install, formatted the whole drive and fresh install with high sierra

After the clean install, same results. Installed win10 again with Bootcamp and in win10 everything perfect. Als tried another USB to ethernet adapter from Dell, same issue.

Also tried on my work notebook (Dell XPS15) with also win10 and i get 400 down, with the Belkin ethernet adapter and his own Dell adapter.

Also tried with the cable on the modem without the router. So to be sure there are no other devices that are slowing down my download.

Clearly something in MacOS, but what? 😟
